    I like the buffet-style curriculum! I also like the idea of including secular and Christian books to get an all-around insight into American history. It's great you're using several different resources and videos. ❣❣

    Thank you for such a thorough review! We had Guest Hollow on our radar for American History next year and your flip through has made me think it will be a great fit for us. Just the flip through makes me a little overwhelmed, but I like how extensive the resource list is. I am definitely going to check out the other video for how to pair down a little so I am prepare for juggling all the components.

      Glad it was helpful & there are many ways to parse all of Guest Hollow's curriculum if needed. Let me know if you have additional questions.🌻

    I love how resources (both reading activities and videos --- even movies!) can be easily accessed through the curriculum. And yes, the discussion about history never ends because it continues as we speak.

      Guest Hollow weaves mixed media throughout their curriculums so well. They should win a Grammy award just for that. 🏆🌻

    I love history as well. I agree with you how important it is to look at things from varying and even contradicting perspective. That's what true thinking is!

      Yes! Appreciating history from diverse perspectives and acknowledging different viewpoints is crucial for a comprehensive understanding of the past. Thanks for tuning in.🌻

    What a great review! Thanks! One question… i notice the ‘workbook” is online. Can you type into the workbook online or does that need to be printed out?

    • @homeschoolingthroughhighschool
      @homeschoolingthroughhighschool  6 місяців тому

      Hi & thank you ☺️. I believe if you use the workbook as a PDF, you’d be able to type directly into it. If you don’t use it as a PDF, you’d need to either print it out or read the questions online and answer the questions in a spiral notebook. Thank you for tuning in. 🌻

    I agree you need to be able to understand primary sources and secondary sources. Children have a difficult time with this. Secular or Christian.

    Do you print out the workbook pages?

    • @homeschoolingthroughhighschool
      @homeschoolingthroughhighschool  7 місяців тому

      Yes. I usually print out the pages of online curriculum. With so much online attention, I tend to lean toward printing most things if there is an option.🌻
