Thanks for the great vid. One question, did I hear you say the orbi gets faster speeds then the berry fi/mofi? Isn’t the orbi getting its internet from the berryfi/mofi? If so how can it be faster then the source? Thanks!
Great Question! My custom router (the berrf-fi) lol has the modem which is the source of my internet but the router distributes the internet speed two ways: Lan ethernet ports and WiFi. The WiFi from the berry-fi is 2.4ghz and the speed degrades based on the device's distance from the router, the strength of the Wi-Fi antennas, channel congestion, etc. When I use the Lan Ethernet ports there is no loss to the original internet speeds. When I plug my orbi into the lan of the berry-fi, it gets the same speed the modem gets and the Wi-Fi on the orbi uses tri band tech and optimizes your internet speed giving no to very minimal loss of speed even on wifi. The Orbi is the truth!
Elizabethdizzles where is your living room in relation to your home? Test your speed close to the router just to verify if the slow speeds are because of router location or bad throughput on your router. If it’s the latter you may need to replace your router.
Elizabethdizzles it depends on the size and layout of your home. I find mesh systems are the best option for most situations but can be overkill if a regular router can cover your living space

Wiring diagram? Not sure what you mean? Ethernet from router to switches/ devices or coax from antennas to router...?

Where should i start? Ours is running slow the router is located in the living room and I'd like to improve
