Diane Morgan is great… First saw her in the Peter Kay sitcom Phoenix Nights (They are both from Bolton)… She first appeared as Philomena Cunk in Charlie Brooker’s (Black Mirror) Weekly Wipe programme before getting her own show
@@MeganRuth i think it's because she spent 10 years as a stand up comedienne, and being from Bolton she have a very flat accent and dry sense of humour.
6:01 The National Theatre building was designed by Denys Lasdun. As a punishment he was knighted and forced to destroy a hillside in Norwich by covering it with an upside-down concrete turd.
@@MeganRuth My revulsion at the worthlessness of the UEA building may have led me into hyperbole but the deliberate ugliness of brutalist architecture disgusts me.
Re the National Theatre being one of the most ugly buildings in the word, Sir Humprey Appleby said it best; "We gave the architect a knighthood so no-one would ever say that."
The man who designed that South Bank monstrosity didn't just hate the theatre - he also hated architecture. THAT is what he was 'saying'. Perhaps - while all the tourists are asleep - the Great Khan (the most famous Pakistani bus-driver's son in the World) will order the British Government to do a mock terrorist attack on this pile of concrete with one of those 'blank' nukes Philomena mentioned, and then have it re-configured (ironically) as a car park - or an 'installation'. All it takes is a little bit of imagination - and the Great Khan has tons of it: who needs taste and common sense when you're in such a powerful position? Just sayin'...
People who think the National Theatre Building is ugly: you are wrong. At least in terms of art & architecture. As an average person you have the right to feel that way. But imagine how average you must be not to get the subtle brilliance?? That's ugly...
There is NO WAY you are getting anything close to the full effects of the humor unless you watch a complete episode - seeing the interviews and her comments in their entirety. When you posted this you responded to some comments saying you would do that, but I don't see anything yet. Trust me - you can thank me later.
Please do this Sadhguru video, The Four Parts of the Mind - Vinita Bali with Sadhguru This one is 13 min 22 seconds long...............................................................................................................................
These compilations completely RUIN the timing and pacing of the jokes and leave the viewer too much in the dark about the context. I highly suggest watching whole episodes, they're not that long and they're all great.
The woman who plays Cunk is also in the brilliant but little-discussed Ricky Gervais show "After Life"
Hi Megan she's hilarious but you have to watch the complete series to really appreciate great comedy writing. Thanks for reaction👍💓🇬🇧
Hi Simon!! Yes, will do! I’m eager to watch more :)
Playing her so straight makes the character work so well. Very intelligent humour
Agreed!
She is so convincing that some people acctually think that this is a really bad documentary series!

She’s my favorite on Afterlife
2:53 honestly the correct response to nuclear proliferation
Diane Morgan is her real name and she is funny and witty in real life.
No all we need is someone reacting to your reacting to Cunk.
Did you miss the "how many 3 wise men were there?" line 😅
I totally did! 😂
Watch some whole episodes, very funny lady and the experts play her stooges.
Yes I plan to! She's indeed hilarious 😂
Very funny and clever humour
indeed!
Dianne Morgan is a comedy genius!
South Bank Brutalism: some people like it!
The ugliest Brutalist building here in Stockholm is the University of Architecture. Even worse inside.
WHO???.....
Hi Megan 😍😍😍
Try to have rodney dangerfield 100 best one liners jokes. He is king of one liners

So deadpan.
She’s not real. It’s an actress a parody… it’s called humour.
How dumb are you?
SOME OF HER QUIPS WENT OVER YOUR HEAD---BUT THATS EXPECTED 'CAUSE YOU'RE A VISITOR, FROM ANOTHER PLANET----ER COUNTRY.

Why did you laugh at minister?
Because it's the wrong word, a minster is a church building, a minister is a government official, a person not a building.
