I for one, am keen to see the Jane easter egg with a lopsided bob and Scottish accent.
I was waiting for her to slip into different accents.....
missed opportunity.
Is she Scottish?
She took on an American accent early in her career.
Sean Rea the name Jane O’ Dougall does ring a bell lol
@@guyver026 Where would a person find evidence of this? I'm intrigued
Jane: "I want to talk about Bioshock: Infinite some more. Yes in 2019." Same, Jane. Same.
Itsari im down for this TedTalk
I agree with Jane! I could listen to her talk about Infinite for Hours. And I knew she’d do that part because Science 🧪
Jane doesn't row.
I’m there. Where and when.
Jeffrey Gruman Jane doesn’t row?
That IS the correct response to Thomas the tank engine!! "Jesus Christ!!!"
Shado_wolf not gonna lie, that part of the video actually scared me a little. I was like “nope!”

Thinking, talking train with a human face on the front. That does sound pretty fucked up.
I'd listen to Jane talk about Bioshock Infinite for an infinite amount of time.
What do you mean I'm the only one?
I would too. Really just anything she could talk about and I'd listen.
Not the only one. I struggle not to talk about it on a daily basis.
I think she needs to make a podcast. Or at least outside Xbox needs one
Everyone be serious, Thomas the Train is definitely scarier than Mr. X.
Dastan Ohara I was expecting the Untitled Goose.
Thomas was EVERYWHERE!
Oh please I know Thomas "scary", its _Shed 17_ and _Project G-1_ Don't look them up, just trust me on this on
oh, so that's where the elza walker came from, should've named her elza rider or elza biker
Haha yeah I was stoked to see that in the game, I remember reading about it in game informer when the original ps1 game launched, she was in the demo too
Also it's the one that gets replaced by the nude mod haha
Yeah I was stoked to see it in the game, I remember reading the game informer about it when the original PS1 game launched, she's also in the demo
Elsa Riker maybe?
Jane, I just finally played Bioshock: Infinite in 2019, so I’m down to talk about it, lol!
I'm so glad you put spoilers for games at the top of the video. It's great you wanted about spoilers for Mass Effect 2 (which came out years ago), but not for Control which came out just a few months back.
Thanks for that.
11:35 honestly I'd be down for an entire episode on bioshock infinite
Hsu hao was a Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance character that was only playable in two games (DA and Armageddon). The lack of care by the players led to him not being playable anymore. He does do a cameo in MK11 though... As Erron Black's latest victim in one of his fight intros
To be fair, in the whole game of Control, i feel that Dylan Faden was the best character. Sure his on-screen time was short, but compared to 90% of the others Characters and how they reacted and were voiced. Dylan was the best and most memorable to me.
OMG!
Imagine that pre Banjo game as a snes game like Donkey kong with those pirates swinging their swords and running around like Donkey and friends!
That would be super cool!
These early versions of these characters are awesome!
Okay now I'm fully certain that Ellen was the early character design for Jane that got recycled later when they started a sister channel because they just had too many fantastic ideas. Not sure if Luke was supposed to be Mike or Andy...
What about Angela Cross, a Lombax from the Ratchet and Clank series?
Angela was in the second game, Going Commando, And was never seen after it.
But when the Future saga game, Insomniac brought in a new storyline, that all of the Lombaxes were either dead or gone, and Ratchet (And later Azimuth) was the last one in the dimension. But then fans starting asking about her. So in the last game in the Future trilogy, a Crack in Time, they added in a news broadcast.
It basically confirmed that Angela was indeed a Lombax, and had escaped Tachyon with the presumed dead Max Apogee, fleeing
Doesn’t Steve-O have his face tattooed on his back?!
Random Username for Chris yes he does, its weirdly amazing
And he also has your name tattooed on his butt
AC Unity showed Marquis de Bullion at E3, and then his mission didn't even make it into the final game. But he did get to pop up as a secret boss if Arno could find all the cakes.
Let's face it, I'm sure everybody's 'early versions' were terrible. Lol 😂
Hell my current version could use a couple updates and patches. Take the previous sentence as an example of what needs to be fixed.
Early versions of me included short combed back hair, and the alternate "Senior Prom" skin that had me in a fro.
Current me has long hair, and the only thing to carry over is the affinity for boot cut jeans.
Our early versions were just us, but with fewer details.
With all that entails.
"It's not a phase, dad..." springs to mind...
My launch day version was incredibly feature poor. No language or graphical options, and don’t even get me started on the control scheme. Don’t know what the devs were thinking.
7:31 In fairness, that would be my reaction.
Does anyone else wonder about how much time Andy spends watching Sean Ashmore things?
The Animorphs tv series is bad but weird enough that if you like bad tv, I can recommend it.
The bandit bruiser enemies in BL1 were allegedly an old design for Brick. There's a unique one that occasionally appears in the Thousand Cuts area in BL2 named "Muscles" that seems very much like something that they found assets for in an old file and just chucked in.
I've never related to anything more than Jane's line about wanting to talk about BioShock Infinite some more even in 2019
Jane: "Who does that?? Not me... as far as you know"... Me: "Don't be sus." XD
Hat in Time:
Queen Vanessa's Manor. Each frozen statue throughout the mansion is a carving of scrapped or unused characters and designs. Characters such as; Timmy who's short and looks like hat kid and Thor an engineer that was going to be a main character.
Elizabeths reaction is the best intro to a companion character in a video game ever! Hilarious.
*Remembers my teenage hair*
... look at that glorious mane!
Your constant inclusion of Snake Eater in list videos makes me want to buy a Console that can actually run it and finally play it!
It's one of the greatest video games ever made, do it. Kojima peaked with this game, that's how good it is
Would highly recommend.

I like the idea of giant stick figure as boss in borderlands 4 because its inline with the comedic nature of the games
That thomas train was kinda creepy .... i think its that phobia where you see cute cuddly things in creepy, rundown, small, and dark places
Fun fact: I clocked Bioshock Infinite in 2019.
I started playing Bioshock 1 today.
I still haven't played BioShock 2: Minerva's Den (and i've played everything else in the series) so i will play some Bioshock later then you ... hopefuly, one day.
The legend and mystery of Jane Douglas continues...
Jack is one of the two main characters being from Eden Prime the other is Jenkins who is killed in the first 2 minutes of the first mission. Her real first name is revealed by Liara as Jennifer. She is also one of the youngest squamates in the entire series.

Just let it go ... let it go and be free :P
13:44 he once had a project dream ermm... a dream project but a bear stole his glory.
Jane should get 3 more tattoos saying Milk, Lemonade, and where the chocolate's made.
The bioshock franchise was so fun, each game was good in it's own way. That doesnt happen often.
Only a cease and desist letter? Hey don’t be so hard on yourself Mike, ‘ole Walt and his Merry band of lawyers aren’t so easy to impress, they were just ashamed that no one at their happiness machine could replicate such splendour.
6:40 maybe you should do your next video on all the weird characters that people have decided would be awesome to date. Then you shall see the depravity of man( and women) Ex- evil within and E.W.2 boss fanfiction
But Aidan Gillen is also "from The Wire", Andy...
I was hoping that it would be revealed that Link, from The Legend of Zelda, was originally supposed to be Tingle.
It's to early in the morning for such cruelty.
Really?!
Bio shock was a series I never got into (nor do I really have a interest) but the ending sounds so weird when I run into videos like these.
*puts on watch later cause I still haven’t finished Quantum Break cause my brothers lost the disc*
Reaver, Zed, and commander Steele should be vault hunters in a prequal
Why aren't W.D. Gaster here. The one that used to be a scientist before alphys became one. It is possible to play Undertale without knowing that he even exists in the game. However if you open a certain grey door you'll find him there
6:30 Prudence flashback!
Oh Jane, talk Bioshock Infinite to me.
I guess, while they’re not Easter eggs the borderlands series could fit in.
There are characters you just don’t expect to see Alive and somehow they’re still there.
Why no Prince Of Persia 2008? If you beat the game, or know the code - you get to play as the original designs. Said designs aren't bad either.
It's probably that any world where Elizabeth was a boy was one where they weren't baby-napped
Hey, has outside Xbox ever do a list of the most convoluted quest lines from rpgs?
If not i think i have one for the list. A simple quest to get a ring back from the start of Summoner, that you need to go all over the game world (and throughout all chapters of the game, till almost the end) to finish it. The funny part is the npc that gives it to you wait patiently (and he will comment on the time if you go back to him to tell how it is going) where you first found him for in game month just to get that ring back (when you finish it, it is already winter (and you start when there is still green grass around) and ... something else happened too that would be a spoler hehe) :P
A very interesting list, thanks guys!
In deus ex: mankind divided, you can find a reference to a character that was belived to be dead(Spy boy). Still we will never know if it meant something or is just an easter egg cuz were not getting a sequel.
What does the modding scene have with putting Thomas the Tank Engine in everything? 😂
Jane... You couldn't find a pen, but you found a tattoo gun?
Maybe she has a side gig at a tattoo parlor
Hey, in Bully: in the office of Dr. Crabblesnitch's office he has a bust of the beta version of himself, maybe to remember his "past self".
Merry Or Pippin!!? Don't pretend Andy... You know!
I’d like to see Jane with a tattoo of her alternative appearance starting with prudence
I would have loved to play as Commandant Steele even though I love playing as Lilith
Am I the only one who didn’t know they were related and I was hoping they would Get togetger
To be fair, if you pick the hardline option the cab driver hangs around for a bit longer as your conspiracy theory enthusiast sidekick. Still quite a demotion, though.
I've heard that Luke was a concept for Mike and Ellen a concept for Jane. Then they were reused for Outside Xtra.
The camera hardware back in 2013 simply didn't have enough memory for rendering someone as tall as Luke, nor did it have enough precision for adequately representing Ellen's hobbit stature.
I'm glad the technology eventually caught up to the vision.
Nah its Jane who was a concept for ellen.
Luke is clearly a scrapped design for Andy, where they got the proportions wrong. Once they fixed the mistake, they slapped a hat and beard on the character and called it a day.
Ah yes, the three universal constances: death, taxes, and Thomas the Tank Engine mods

I fully expected Jane to wear a blonde wig and do a terrible accent in the outro and now im a bit disappointed :(
Or... she did change into a different version of herself, but was so good at mimicking her alternate self that neither you or I noticed it...
Yeah I know... Spooky.
Actually her early design is on the sister channel.

Of our deserved conclusion. She must be punished.
It seems that quantum break had a more interesting plot in the trailer
That sounds EGGsiting

I'm all for talking about Bioshock infinite in 2019. Start a new series. Call it "Old games with Jane".
Same. I only played BI this year. Although I didn't finish it, because that damn zeppelin fight can get bonked, that's why.
That's a really cool idea
Still feels like yesterday that Infinite came out...time sure has flown...
What if the Songbird was a Booker that failed to save Elisabeth?
A trip down Memory Jane
*looks at teenage me's haircut*
*burns everything to the ground to hide it*
Was your's based on a Gundam character too?
I would, too...
If I my haircut wasn't the same since 2007, that is.
I remember young me thinking that having no hair was the epitome of coolness. Thankfully, the last time I thought that was 15 years ago.
I've burned all my old photos years ago (also i was smart and did not let my young and stupid self been immortalized on any piece of colorful paper whenever i could prevent it) :D
I actually didn't find a haircut I liked till I was 16, up until then I just had a bob cause it was easy and less fuss to brush.
There's always a lighthouse.
There's always a man.
There's always a city.
Yes, even in 2019.
Wasen't there a movie about two man in a lighthouse not long ago? Are lighthouses cool again???:)

@@kallasantysanty6092 Sounds like a great idea, until falmer dig into your basement.
I heard a rumour that the early version of Andy didn't have a beard.
This is incorrect. Andy was born with a glorious beard, and after he's gone, only the beard will remain.
It was added in through patches
Gosh darn you Andy, that Thomas the tank engine RE2 Remake mod made me spit out a mouthful of Dr Pepper! 🤣
ABSOLUTE GENIUS.
I was already on at least two videos ... but it is still funny to see thomas moving that heli with out hands (as he has non) :P
If comics were still the way they were in the 90's, Mike's drawing would be re-christened "Murder Mouse" and he'd be signing a deal with Image comics right now.
Ha, that reminds me of one of the, "Letters to the Editor," segments in one of my copies of Freak Force. Apparently they had a character design contest back then, and someone made a character called, "Captain Conservative," a chap with a klan hood for a mask.
@@cooltrainervaultboy-39 That would be a good villain for that era ... or even this era.
@@kallasantysanty6092 I'm sure there would be angry letters to the editor about "Keep your politics out of my comics!" The same way that Marvel got when Jack Kirby first drew Captain America punching a certain head of state that quite a few americans thought rather favorably of at the time.
Jane has had a to-scale tattoo of her own face inked onto her face...
So, is she related to the Stig?
It's called "tattoo make-up". A real thing.
Two terrifying things just occurred to me
1) Jane is probably this dimensions version of Elizabeth
2) She obviously has some kind of mind control powers coz thats a really obvious comparison to make and its taken me like six years realise it
What's the other terrifying thing?
1:37 - I don't think the spider-tiger Corazón de Ballena is one to mock possibly Swedish accents.

That Thomas the Tank Engine mod looks even better than the X 'gon give it to ya' mod. I'd like to see a vid of all the ridiculous mods
I'm friends with the tattoo artist who did Jane's back piece. It's her whole back. It's her face... Just... I'm just sayin'.
D'Hotness McAwesome knew there was a good reason we never see her bare back on the show....
@@ulfjohnsen6203 That, and I'm told that's where she keeps her explosives. Not... that Jane would ever need anything like that...
I think Jane hinted that she has a tattoo of a carburettor on her shoulder.
I feel like it's a tattoo of the word Milk. Lol
Truely? What gave it away? 😂
Here's an idea for a game. Take a shot for every list outside Xbox that does *NOT* mention metal gear solid or bioshock. *hears crickets* ...........short game.........
In Quantum Break's defense, Sean Durrie does show up in more than just that one scene. If I remember correctly, he's a minor character, that is depending on if you choose him instead of the girl who I can't remember the name of.
Yes, depending on the choice you bake at one juncture, he can become a support character for Jack.
I think it would have been cool for them to add a quantum storyline canonically making him the protagonist in a sort of timeline that didn't work out. Just add an Easter egg appointing towards him being one of the main characters, and allude to it being changed.
In KOTOR II when you play the game for a second time as a male character Atton Rand introduces himself as a different character that didn't make the cut to the final game.
First off I died when the Thomas the train engine theme song kicked off as Leon said “Jesus Christ”
Second off did anyone else flinch when Elizabeth threw that book or am I just tired
11:29 - Constants and variables, Jane. Constants and variables.
In the Cafe of Broken Dreams in Fallout 2 you can talk to different (discarded) versions of the vault dweller, the Fallout 1 protagonist.
I always wanted an option to chose the look of my character (a redhead female would be cool :)) in that game, and when i first discovered that special encounter ... they could do it and chose not to what the hell hehe. Still my favored RPG (both of them but mostly the second one) of all times. The sadest part is i never even found a mod to change that damn model ... maybe they did not make all the animations for the rest or something? Or maybe i'm blind, or just bad at serching for things ... :P
before we begin I must admit that I couldn't really understand the title, however I clicked just for Jack

I want to hear more theories from Jane about Bioshock Infinite. Maybe in a multipart series?
Ok. I call it! Jane has her face tattooed with her face, covering up her face, so no one see's her face. Genius!
I was hoping for a OX easteregg somewhere in there, where they would dress up like on the first videos (or even use part of those old ones to confuse us even more), but alas it was not to be. Maybe next time ...
Gee thanks. I went through the spoiler list and went "yup, played all those" and then you sneak a Control spoiler in the Quantum Break segment. :'-(

There's one of these for Eternal Darkness. The architect's level starts with a cutscene showing a seemingly random knight being thrown into the PIllar of Flesh. The knight is one of the main characters in the playable previews of the game, who got cut before release.
"I want to talk about Bioshock Infinite some more" Almighty god we all do. PLEASE make another vid on it
As for Bioshock's alternate universes: The reason the Lutece Twins are the way they are is because both of them created an interdimensional telegraph that let them find each other. The other, "closer" variants, for want of a better word, didn't create the interdimensional telegraph, and may not have taken up physics at all. Conversely, all of the Elizabeths are the result of the Luteces in the timeline taking an Elizabeth whose pinky finger gets cut off by the portal, so they're from much "closer" variants, resulting in notable similarities.
I wonder how many times Andy has started a video with 'If there's one thing...."
