Yesterday me and my friend (our 4th day playing this game btw) found a fort of fortune already half complete because we saw 2 mini bosses, anyway we beat them and captain Grimm. After we hat to load the loot on board which took like 10 mins, then we got attacked by a kraken but miraculously escaped with THREE PLANKS left
Nice, good run!! We took over one of those last night around 1AM while we had a ton of loot on our ship from grinding voyages.. The server was pretty dead. We got the loot, went to leave, and we got krakened almost immediately. After defeating the kraken, the game moved us to a new server with all of our loot because I'm pretty sure we were the only people playing in the server we were in. Upon moving to the new server with all of our loot and 0 cannonballs, we got krakened a SECOND TIME! We literally had no cannonballs, around 10 wooden boards, and like no fruit. It was extremely hard to fight the kraken with no cannons lol. We ended up escaping the kraken because we fought it off for an extremely long time and we quickly sold our loot. We were also emissary 5 , so we got loads of money. I think after depositing I went from ~130k to ~490k. We've been grinding because I'm currently 6 levels off of pirate legend haha

@@SeaOfConcepts I know but I think you get around 130k with reaper 5 I’m not sure if sometimes there are more ships but I have gotten insane amount of loot from it
Around 180k to 200k only that world event gets you leveled up your reaper level to 5 insanely good event but galleon is more easier and quicker to use this event of your advantage
Something about the kraken is that even thought it has spawned on you a megelodan can also spawn on you which is how I almost lost 2 hours worth of loot
The kraken stopped me from getting back my loot from a reapers as I was sailing back no loot absolutely nothing and the reapers had my loot, kraken “protected” the wrong ship
Yeah I had a kraken spawn on me while I was doing the wild rose tall tale, while a galleon that just finished a fort of fortune sailed right past me, I don't think the kraken cares about the loot XD
With my crew even if it was a galleon or brig, we would start to get the hang of it, it only took about 25 minutes or so to do a standard fort while it took 45 at least for a fort of fortune. That would depend on the supplies we had at the time. But one of the only problems we really dealt with was a couple tuckers once in a while or some pvp encounters (I'm a pvp buff so it doesn't really matter to me). But point is once you start to get the hang of the forts, they become great for stacking world events (best with reapers if you're looking strictly for gold).
Fof is now extremely good as they added in a new type of chest valued at 20k gold with no multiplyer or emissary. Additionally after selling 30 you get a nice ship set.
Ashen winds takes tops 3-5 mins with cannon balls. Fof Takes at least 45 to 60 mins. Skull forts 15-20 mins. And the FOTD Boss takes not even a full 2 mins if you have a galleon and everyone uses tridents.
no way does the kraken target like that. 2 nights ago we did the ashen skeleton fort, got all of our loot raided, then got krakened on our way to try and get it back
Our crew loves the Fort of Fortune. Easy way to get Reaper 5. While the Fort of the Damned pays well, it takes the longest time to set up. You've got to get all of the coloured lanterns and at least one Ritual Skull before you can start running it. ^^;

Me and 2 of my friends were doing fort of the damned, we aren’t the best so it took us about 4 hours to defeat everyone, then some crew decides to take all our stuff and sink us. I know I should expect to get stolen from but that one just pissed me off

I equipped the reapers flag and did a fleet rq and the flag immediately went to level four and i didnt even get all if the loot since one of this ships loot sank. I also got around 100k and 200ish dbs
The world events nowadays are kinda pointless the event expires without getting done because everyone on the server camps it because they're to fucking lazy to do it themselves. Rolled up on a Grey skull cloud and watched 6 ships circle it for 25 minutes and everytime some one would attempt the fortress the others would sink em until finally the the event ended unfinished
Do ashen lord's have a certain island to spawn on because I need to kill Warden Chi 2 more times for the hunter of WC but I haven't got him in 2 months now

Saying the kraken targets ships with the most treasure is BS. I played a couple weeks ago doing a solo sloop and within a minute of leaving the first outpost that mf attacked me.
There should be at least 2 world events active at a time, or they should cycle faster. IF you do a world event, then after it's finished the next one should pop up immediately.

when your collecting your treasure you could bring it to the edge of the water and use your harpoon to get it onboard just to make it faster

If your reaper 5 I think you get way more then 60k from the Skelton fleet

Just a little bit of advice, the more you use the ashen winds skull as a weapon, the more value and emissary value it loses

just do a lost shipment with emmisary level 5 and if you have level 55-75 then your average profit is 90000- 130000 gold

Kraken attacks the ship with loot. I heavily doubt it, I had litterly spawned in ran to my ship, sailed a mile then got krakened, I had no loot at all

I had a bad teammate one time and they stole the ship with like 1 chest and a kraken killed them like 2 seconds away from where we had stopped
