      @@MasconLeather Just the shot(s) of you walking across the house to get your leather must have been 4 or 5 camera set ups. A tremendous amount of work goes into these videos. Almost more than the actual construction of the leather piece. Most will not appreciate the video work. Again, you have my thanks. I learn a little every time I watch one. (this video taught me to pick up women's underwear before filming!)

    • @MasconLeather
      @MasconLeather  4 роки тому +1

      You are spot on !! Just walking across house. 4-5 camera moves. Shoot, walk, move camera , repeat. Etc. So a 15 second walk took 45 minutes to film, load in software, edit.
      And for the leather..... a wallet usually takes 4 +/- hours to make. To make AND film (and edit) takes 30+ hours.

    Great vid, thanks. Been doing mine completely differently, this is definitely easier. Ive been pressure molding it before cutting edges and sewing. It seems to harden it. Yes im fairly new and still figuring things out. Any idea how i can harden it using your process?

    • @MasconLeather

      I use Horween Dublin mostly. Yes, it’s veg tan, but it can NOT me cased nor wet molded. They infuse with too much fats and liquors in the veg tan process. Let it be supple and soft. 😆
