Thank you, good sir! 😉
Where do I go to purchase the Byron 8.0 ?
I appreciate finding your channel and the fact you dont have a clicker press because I personally find them to be unnecessary and only for massive companies who are selling a mass amount of one product.
👍
The only UA-cam channel where the quality of the products are equally matched by the video production values! Simply the best!!!
Wow!!! Thank you, sir!! Coming from you, that’s wonderful!
I came across your channel and insta about 2 months ago. Ive been working in leather off and on since 2018. I got big into steampunk and took a few classes at tandy to learn the basics. 😆 thanks for that. I appreciate it!
@@MasconLeather and thank you for making these how to vids there’s a lot out there but for whatever reason yours are easier for my type of learning
Yeah, because I disregard the old cowboy and western ways. I created the easy, efficient, and better quality way.
@@MasconLeather Reminds me back in the day if you wanted to learn a craft you had your apprentice and that meant cleaning up the floors and taking shit and not getting paid…. But if you wanted it you stuck around …..
@@MasconLeather and that you did !
Superbe, merci beaucoup !
Thanks!!!
Sir, you are a badass. I love the commentary and the attitude. Subscribed.

@@MasconLeather Not at all! Thanks for your labour! 😉
What no Jameson ☘️. Great video excellent wallet 💚🙏
Thanks!!!
As always beautiful work. I am almost but not quite disappointed. Clicker press work now. I started watching because each piece was hand made. However I know that your skill is better served finishing more work for us to enjoy and not grunt working.
Oh trust me ….. 95% is cut by hand. And, the rule is “10,000 hours”. Remember. Once you hit 10,000 hours, you’re considered to have mastered a task. I’ve done that. My hand cut is literally indistinguishable from clicker. Therefore, it’s identical. And being booked into 2023 (1+ years), I need to start helping my clients out
@@MasconLeather I see and know and appreciate your level of skill. Perhaps I am only really disappointed in that it is less content for me to see. I don't currently own any of your work so I have no point of comparison. Nor do I think that a click press makes your work less refined just like the bell skiver. I want to be in leather craft one day, as I have too much time. What work I am locked into is at home taking care of a sick and less able wife. I enjoy your content as I feel I might be able to learn something from it. I do feel that your step into power equipment is one that will let the leather enthusiast community enjoy more of your work, while hopefully letting you have more family time as well. Keep on and thank you for great content.
I’ll keep teaching. All aspects. And more videos. There’s a lot to cover. 😉
Me encantan tu vídeos.
La verdad no sé inglés,pero aún así siempre aprendo mucho.
Gracias y saludos desde Galicia

That wallet is a thing of beauty and a joy forever. (Probably...)
Thanks!!!
Great video!....nice blend of your formats✨👍
...nice flag too...the first Union Flag of GB.......used at sea from 1606 (at sea and under way known as the Union Jack) and more generally from 1706 to 1801.
Ah!!!! Good to know! I love the Union Jack and my wife saw this one at a garage sale or something…. I love it
❤️ superb 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks !!
Спасибо, познавательно. Всё подробно и понятно. Удачи в жизни и успехов в работе!

A thing of beauty! Would love to know how to order this wallet
Could you possibly do a video about the types of leather you use? I've only really worked with veg tanned since it's better for stamping but you seem to get really good impressions using the leather you have.
It wouldn’t need a whole video to be honest. It’s Horween Dublin. If you want to email me, I can elaborate. Artimus71@gmail.com
Gracias Maestro 🤣🙏🤝🤑
Thanks!!
I like your work, clean and minimalist! Wondering please could do a tri-fold wallet? Thank YOU
Thanks for watching!!!! Of the 60+ designs I have, only one is a trifold. I use very thick leather.
@@MasconLeather Please let me know the leather thickness in millimetres?
Google “leather conversation chart”. 🤘
respect and love from Qatra
Thanks !
Super Tipp is put leather over your clip‘s and no more Markes in the leather ❣️ If I buy new clips my first work is put leather on ❣️😉
je ne comprend pas l'anglais mais juste voir tout ça c'est génial merci :) quand je travaille le soir sur mon cuir ma motivation vient de ces vidéos ! 🥰

@@MasconLeather My French is far from perfect, but she basically said 'Even though I don't understand English, just watching your videos is fantastic. Her journey through leathercraft is motivated by your videos.'
Awe!!!! Thanks for helping with that translation!!!
@@mitchblackmore5230 perfect 🥰
@@creafolyz4329 Wow, thanks. My French speaking wife would be proud. 😊
beauty
Thanks !!
First off, I love your videos. The craftsmanship and humor are perfect. Since you are using 1mm thread, are you using 5mm or 6mm stitching chisels?
Thanks!! Usually 5mm. I do 6 on looooong stitch runs like hems and straps.
If you watch my hand stitching video, I explain it all more in-depth
Ah, another Mascon fix for my addiction. This one is a bit harder than you let on, a lot of stitching and skiving. Also, do you remember what the. roundabout cost was for the skiving machine? I clicked on the link but there is no cost anywhere on the site. Appreciate your work. Cheers!😁
With practice…. It gets easier. For sure. And thanks for watching!!!!
The cost for the 8 ton clicker? Maybe $3,000 - $3,500? The 4 ton clicker is perfectly ok, to be honest. Call weaver and ask. Tell them I sent you. 👍
Another great video. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Any advice or opinion on picking an edge beveler?
Thanks! Yes. I discuss them in depth in my tool video. Barry king. I go over all the sizes.
Binging your channel today man, not homo stalking!
😆 stalk away! And enjoy!
Amazing ....but I wish you'd added third double face transparent layer for ID and drive license.... Great job
No plastic or synthetic in my items
Don't know how to start this except I am shifting from building custom homes since I was 16, built my own carpentry business 4 yrs ago and doing alright, but now at 40 and 2 kids and twins on the way I decided I'm tired of working so darn hard! Hands hurt along with everything else lmao, wife is a bad ass artist, tatto artist, and makes jewelry, were both self employed! Al that being said I fucking spent a bunch of cash investing into being a lether worker like yourself, ordered alot of leather sides from Montana leather, a bunch of tools, man I'm in it! Then discovered your channel and laughed because seems were alot alike but different if that makes since! Blah blah blah anyway I guess what I'm getting to is I love the craftsmanship of your work and has ne even more pumped to build peices! Building a small work space and just waiting on leather to make it all the way to the big island of Hawaii! Any advice you could give an inspired, motivated man on starting up this building of a business?? Suggestions, any kind of helpful tips, shit you did wrong at the start that maybe I shouldn't do? Lol! I did buy your bump jigs the other night so just that alone should have me at pro status already right? 🤣 anyway Aloha from Hawaii
Hope to here back from ya.
Brandon. "Volcano carpentry and masonry" now shofting to "Volcanic leather" because we live in the town of 🌋 volcano on an active volcano 🤙
Oh wow !!!! We’re the same !!!! Let’s do it !
@@MasconLeather any suggestions? Things you may have done differently from the start? I got really good at being carpenter by fucking shit up at a young age lmao! But if I could avoid some big mistakes from the star that would be great. BTW I can find horween leather for sale in all the beautiful colors you have! Where the hell do I get them? I ended up using Montana leather and they only had 1 color of horween.
Haha! Bonus tip #847 You're too funny Bro! 🤣
😆
For me one od the Bast Leather Wallets made !!! A Lot of money but if you have money buy it , I like to the POPOV WALLETS VERY WELL MADE , MY SELF I MAKE MY OWN WALETTS !!! THIS ARE VEEY NICE AND DURABLE WALLETS !!!!!
Absolutely love your work I’ve been obsessed with your talent! Was wondering where you get your logo stamps at? Thank you.
Thanks for that !! I have a number Of makers who do my stamps. Leather stamp maker is great ! Thanks for watching!
Is there a pattern for the Byron? Fantastic video! I love the trick sewing! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks!!! No, I don’t sell my designs.
Очень позновательно! Спасибо.
English translation? 😊
Very informative. Thanks!
@@MasconLeather sorry. This word - informative is not so deep, like on russian. I'm very happy to find your chanel. Privet from Kazakhstan. 🙋
Excellent video, as always. Just curious why you float the bottom an inside edges of the pockets? That wallet will last a couple of lifetimes.
Awesome video i anna try someting like this... i went and got most of the tools today, i didnt get a groover cuz all the wallet videos i have seen lately are just using the winger then punchin the stitch holes. My question is the guy at tandy leather said i would want to use a groover? do i need to? and my 2nd question is do you have a trick for the placement of your stitch holes on corners and what Seam allowance (totally dont know if that term is used in this but i sew so yea lol) is used for ur stitch line ive seen some say 1/8th and some say 1/4th? thanks for any info :)
