Every beginner website out there: Caribena Versicolor make great first time Ts for how calm they are. Me: *Watches CV bolt around the catch cup* There we go! Now that's a CV! ^_^ Great set up, it looks amazing!
Thank you! 😊 they are great first time Ts but sometimes they just get spooked for no apparent reason 🤣 it was all fine walking on the desk then decided to run haha
I just got my first Caribena and this is huge inspiration for what I want her enclosure to be. You got a sub and I can’t wait to see what you bring in the future. Keep up the good work
Enclosure looks amazing! and a bioactive enclosure can work well! I have one with a P. Irminia sitting on my desk :) Small tip tho. Water the inclosure yes, but don't mist / spray it!!! I have killed a caribena versicolor this way unfortunately. The misting makes for a very unstable humidity level and just watering the enclosure will ensure that the levels stay relatively consistent.
Yeah no that's exactly what I had going on, with good cross-ventilation. But the misting creates a spike, wish is worse for the spider then just a gradual release from the substrate. @@lostInExotics
Hey, new subscriber here. Glad I came across your channel. Digging the bio active enclosures & hoping to see what works/ideas, hoping to build some in the future for some moisture dependent T species. I also enjoy your calm voice/energy ✨
Hello! I’m glad you’re on board 😊. I will definitely be putting out more of these bioactive setups for our tropical Ts. I’m thinking of also making enclosures for our dry arid desert species.

That looks amazing it looks like a miniature forest cool
Right! I will be creating more of this
I'd like to see you build that acrylic enclosure! It looks great!
Thank you! I will have a tutorial in the next week or two :) stay tuned!
That "oh nono, oh shi-" at 13:21 followed by a nervous laughter is so relatable. I have the same when I need to rehouse my C. Versicolors. 😅
Right! I wouldn’t want to chase around an arboreal tarantula in the house 😅
@@lostInExotics Same! Hahaha
Love your videos
Thank you that means a lot to me

Thank you! I’m glad my video has inspired you :) I will have another video, that I’m sure you’ll like, releasing this week!

Yup, I only mist it once or twice a week. I have a fan on a timer blowing air through my enclosures :) Thanks for the tip!

Enclosure looks great please give us an update on how it looks
I will give an update on the growth in a month :)
Hope this ends up well for you. I'm terrified to add any water to my versis enclosure besides her waterdish lol
I have other versicolors in similar but smaller setups and they’ve been doing well with misting. The key is to have good airflow.
