    I needed this today.... thank you! The comment about face vs body acne- that’s also my deciding factor and I haven’t heard others talk about that yet in videos❤️ thank you✨

    Soo happy for you! I got my script on Monday, haven't had a chance to pick it up yet so getting it tomorrow, so I'll be starting Sunday/Monday! I really hope I have a similar experience to you! Going straight onto 40mg but my dermatologist thinks I'll be on it for around 5 months. Nervous, but excited for some change 🤞🏼 Your videos have helped so much ❤️

    Hi beautiful! I've been following your journey for quite sometime now with acne and trying to heal it holistically. Honestly my path is very similar to yours from suffering with IBS, acne and trying all sorts of ways of trying to heal these ailments. I even go way back with your channel when you were raw vegan and following dr. morse and his teaching/healings! I can honestly say it's been about 5 + years trying to heal my skin holistically and I can tell you I've tried every fricken vegan diet, holistic product and I'm at the point where my skin is soooo much better but its still mild and constantly persistent no matter how clean I eat, how organic the products I use or how much I don't stress. My skin even looks like yours before you started accutane! I'm at this point where I'm just fed up and want to just go on accutane at this point. I was on accutane years ago and it did wonders for me, my skin was clear and I felt so much freedom. But then my acne did come back but I feel like in a way it was my bodys way of telling me to take better care of it, food wise. I know my skin isn't horrible and I'm really grateful it's so much better but damn does acne take away your quality of life sometimes I feel, im sure you can relate, especially when it's just persistent. But everything I know now im almost afraid to go back on accutane, I know the side effects are brutal and I almost feel like it goes against everything I know in a way but I also feel like it could just help sooo much. Any advice would be wonderful thank you! Much love!❤

      Hey Kelsey, thanks for being so open with your story. I'm sorry to hear your skin didn't stay clear after one round of accutane. I can relate to how you feel about your skin though totally. Making the final decision to go on accutane was fully against what I stand for but I had to put my mental health first and give it a go so I wouldn't look back and regret it. Like you, I've tried so many diets and nothing miraculously fixed my skin. So far accutane is the only thing which has cleared it up and I hope with the way I take care of my body (good foods and exercise etc.) my skin won't go back to the way it was, or at least be as bad. I know that there is a higher success rate the older you are when you go on accutane, and because I'm mid-20s I'm hoping that's the case for me. My side effects overall haven't been that bad but I know for some people it is pretty horrific so I can understand why maybe you wouldn't want to go on it again. I can't tell you what to do but I'd say no matter what you decide, you and your skin are beautiful :) x

    Ive tried many many different things but they never worked for me. I am 18 and Ive had acne since I was 14.I have mild acne and I am thinking about starting Accutane because I feel really insecure, but I am afraid of that purging phase especially, cause I don't know how long it lasts...

    • @emi1ylouise
      @emi1ylouise  3 роки тому +1

      I luckily didn’t experience any purging so I can’t say what it’s like. From all the people I’ve seen who have had a skin purge though, their skin looks amazing by the end of their treatment and I’m sure it’ll be the same for you! Good luck with your course 😊

      Acne might not be cancer. But it's awful! It just seems like it's never going to end, and it's painful! In high school my so called friends. Would tell me. You need to bath more. Or, you are eating to much sugar. Or, you are excessively masturbating. All which is just flat wrong!. But you learn, that's what people with out acne think. TRUST ME!! If you ever had acne. You would be sensitive too!!! Understand why Emily is thrilled to have found something that works. Side affects and all!

    Is accutane vegan?

    • @emi1ylouise
      @emi1ylouise  3 роки тому +1

      It’s as vegan as any other form of medication from vaccines to birth control to pain killers etc. So the blunt answer unfortunately is no. It’s virtually impossible to be totally vegan 100% of the time, so while I don’t recommend taking medication for the sake of it, I do believe it has its purpose in certain circumstances. Hope this answers your question in a nutshell 😊
