Why did you replace just the accumulator. Did you do the orifice tube as well. I have front and rear AC it still working but it seems to not work good when I'm not moving for more than a couple minutes. It does seem weaker than normal too in the front then it should be. Sometimes it's pretty decent though. I tried adding a little refrigerant but I don't think it's doing much The pressures look pretty good. I've heard that the desiccant sack inside the accumulator can break and then the beads kind of go around the system and clog up stuff I'm wondering if my orifice tube is not functioning properly. The rear AC always seems to be cold it's just the front that's lacking. I have a new clutch fan so I don't think that's it. Sometimes if I rev it up at idle it does seem to cool it off a little better but it still doesn't seem right.

Mine has an extra one too. It’s probably for the trucks that had the California emission package or something.

How much PAG46 oil did you determine to put in the accumulator?

Idk. Brought it to my buddies shop and had him charge it for me. The machine injectors oil during the charge. Sorry.

Hey man, if you have them look on the cap of their oil line under the hood, it usually says it there. Might say it on the sticker inside the driver side door, too. Or have them google the year/make/model of the vehicle and google will likely tell ya. Hope that helps.

Used dirty oil works best. You’ll have a brand new car soon after.
