Hi, Can you use the included briefcase grip from the RS4 pro sideways as you hold yours at 5:58? And then attach a BMVA 5" monitor at the end of the grip? Would you need extra accessories for that? Thanks
Thanks for this video, Keith. Super helpful reference. I'm on the hunt for a battery grip dummy handle, ie no power, light-weight. I'm trying to reduce the overall ring weight and reduce to a single power source on one of the power modules. I don't even use the handle and in fact tape over the power connectors. Does anyone have any recommendations or alternatives here?
Hello, did a bunch of testing with focus pro. I'm concerned about the noise it makes. The lidar unit if placed on my cage next to microphone is heard. And if using Panasonic (first Price) photo lenses the focus ring turning is somehow heard 😢 Not so much though with an old Pentax lens. That bring me to the question : when usualy using this focus pro lidar, how do you manage your sound ? Do you have boom poling ? Or a trick to place a microphone away from Lidar (and if so how and which microphone ?)? I'd love to know more (before making up my mind and eventually turning back my focus pro next week)..
Great vid! The 4D handles only control the focus motors or can you use them to control the rs4 and start/stop recording? I tried them last month on a ronin 4D and I find them super nice to use
I use V mount, but G mount has a better "locking" mount I feel like. I had a lot of V-mount adapters and lights already, so thats the mount I went with
Great video! Do you know if RS4 and RS4 Pro can handle an on-camera mic without touching the back motor when doing low-angle shots? Thanks a lot in advance.
DJI sent me that bracket with the hand wheel unit - it was not in retail packaging, so I'm not exactly sure how theyre going to package it. I looked on their website and I didn't see it. I'll reach out them and ask
When is your video coming out of the DJI transmission? I'm doing a lot of research and having a hard time. I have an FX6 and I want to use it for filming automotive shots. Looking to invest in a professional arm to mount on the car, and I want to know if the DJI transmission system/monitor + the DJI RS4 Pro combo will be compatible. I would not mount the monitor on the camera since I want to use it sitting in the car and being able to control the gimbal from a distance. Will I be able to do this? I saw that the DJI RS4 is not compatible with the FX6 but it looks like if I use the Transmission system with an HDMI cable I will find a way to work around that. Looking forward to your thoughts about this ;) Setups look dope btw!
You don't have to use lidar afmf to use the tracking. You can track with the lidar and focus with an af lens. Demo of that in my rs4 video (using a manual lens, but tracking without focusing) ua-cam.com/video/3PsRfvOi9-4/v-deo.htmlsi=Ea963sC6hp1Hp73C&t=331 I do not have the previous lidar model, so I can't comment on the tracking from the previous model.
I just got active tracking working last night. Have a video for full setup and tweaks? I kept losing my subject testing it out and sent camera is opposite direction 🤷, also which mode is best, it seems too sensitive. Changed speed and dead and both extremes. Was using PT mode. Maybe my focus mox was too small. Also I think I was in flex focus mode and heard wide is best to use.
There is a focus motor that comes with the kit that you can put on a 15mm rod and use for the focus, and you can buy another one and daisy chain it and use it for the zoom or iris.
The blue cable is the Kondor blue HDMI cable - linked in the description as HDMI cable for Transmission. One thing to note, if you're using the raveneye, that uses a mini HDMI cable. The DJI transmission uses the full-size HDMI cable
Frustratingly, DJI has not released this cable hub on their website yet - not sure when this will be released but will update the pinned comment and description when they do
@@Sethmotley The new transmission hub has multiple ways to power it - you can power it via the gimbal to use it with the RS4 Pro, or D-tap to use it with a handheld setup
Didn't think this video would be 20 minutes but here we are 🤷♂
Thanks for sharing the strap!
Same setup, except for camera. Great idea with handle extension. Fast precise information! Subscribed!
Awesome! Love it! Thanks for the support! 🙌

Nice to know . I have the RS3 . Still rocking it with my motorcycle videos . It’s pretty awesome . 👏 hopefully will use the RS5 soon . Thanks

Are you using gold mount or V mount batteries for your FX6 setup? I wanna step into cinematography and I can't decide what path I should go.
I use V mount, but G mount has a better "locking" mount I feel like. I had a lot of V-mount adapters and lights already, so thats the mount I went with
Would you be able to link what handles you recommend like the twist grip or briefcase? Please :)

What camera and mic setup do you have? Thanks for the kind words!
Where did you get that piece, which connects the monitor to the hand grip unit?

I had to contact customer support. It's now actually live on their site.
Can you power and use at the same time the gimbal with an anker 737 powerbank?
can i use gopro on rs4 pro without any propblem, please reply
Great video for the Rs4pro!
thank you

Do you have a tripod you’d recommend?..
What kind are you looking for and what’s your price range? Big and stable? Travel tripod? Somewhere in between?
@@keith-knittel can you tell I’m new at this… haha something sturdy not super big. That I can travel with. $100-200 budget. Ty!!
Can you use lidar just for tracking with an auto focus lens. Do you know if the tracking is better than the previous model.

Can u get the lidar data from the device?
I do not know of a way to get the lidar data from the device, only use with the RS4 Pro or grip
What type of grip is that for easy rig ?
Easyrig quick release, added it to the description 👍
Excellent video 📹 👏
Thank you very much!

@@constantinherrmann6493 I reached out to DJI and they told me this will be available July sometime. Not sure why, they didn’t give me a reason

Mid-30s and you can't swing cameras around? So young man haha
Haha I can still do it, but an easyrig makes it so much easier!
