I liked the explanation detailing the composition of the club. Nice to hear a performance review based on subjective exemplification as well as objective opinion.

Just ordered mine! Excited to try! I'm a 10 handicap so hopefully I get down to the single digits!

I hit these last year and really liked them. I thought they added 10+ yrds to my shots too. I'm a 13 handicap and I'm looking to get better. Hopefully these help.

@@colinmusgrave These clubs are forgiving. They helped me make more consistent contact. Reasonably priced give em a shot.

Nice review. You mention the 4-iron is going 20 yards longer than your current set but the Mavrik 4-iron loft is more like a traditional 2-iron. The 7-iron is 27 degrees of loft when a traditonal 7-iron is about 34.

Yes you are absolutely correct. The technology inside with the tungsten weighting and the microspheres help keep the ball launching high with great decent angles despite the flatter face.

but if same distance, isnt it better to do with shorter shaft?

Nice review, I just got fitted for these irons. My old clubs were totally wrong for my game (launched too high, shafts had too much flex, etc.), so the Mavericks actually increased my 7i by around 30 yards (150 -> 180+).
I’m glad to hear that there isn’t much of a distance difference for the shorter irons in the set compared to your old set. My main concern with the lowered lofts was that I would have too large a gap in distances when it got down to my 9i, Wedge. Just out of curiosity, how far do you hit the shorter irons in the set? I want to make sure that I don’t have to add in an AW, being that I got the PW-4i set. Thanks!

I personally play a “GW gap wedge” in my gamer set. My 9 iron I hit 145-155. My PW I hit 135-125 and my marching GW I hit 120-110 which is at a 50*. I still have gaps. As you can see. I then have a 54* which is supposed to be my 100 yard club but sometimes struggles.

What is the difference between XP 105 and XP 95 shaft

Technically aren't these 2020 Model? Seen where they are calling 2020 and 2022? But Clubs look exactly the same. I thought Rogue is Callaway's 2022 Series Irons.

Terrible clubs. Had them for a year and hated them. Just a hard feeling dead club. It was a happy day when I got rid of them. Bought Wilson Staff D7 irons and they play so much better, very very happy with the D7's.

I have had the opposite experience with them. They feel great when you hit the ball in my view.
