Demo'd LP2 irons along with D9s, TM Stealths, and Cobra LTDx and was really impressed. The LP2s were more consistent in both ball flight and direction. I never thought of them as a fit for me, but I don't get to play as much as I used to and could use the help!
I have been using Cleeveland HB3 hybrid irons for several years now and as a senior golfer I can never see me going back to traditional irons again. Loved your piece on the Wilson hybrids and would like to see more of the comparison tests like you have just done.
"Why don't I do it??" Cause most golfers would rather look like a pro than score like a pro. LOL

Also because they will stop you from getting better past a certain point. Learning feel and how to hit the center of club are important skills to develop
@@williambrown7437 every player in the world should be playing cavity backs & that includes tour pros, I haven’t seen anyone use traditional blades unless they were born before 1950, and none of them break 80 come to think of it.
I bought the Launch Pad irons in October of 2020 after coming back to golf after 10+ years away from the game. never properly started using them till March 2021 and 1 year later took 14 strokes off my handicap and believe these irons made huge difference to my game . absolutely love them .
Using the Sim max os irons and love them. I hit a lot out of the toe so forgiveness is a must and these irons do provide a lot. My occasional center strike does go a bit farther but just makes me feel good when I do lol. I say use what helps you be a better golfer and stop worrying about trying to hit something that you really only hit well on occasion.
Just have to say - Pete, you create the best quality content in your genre on UA-cam, no doubt in my mind. Loving your videos, can’t wait for more. Keep it up 👍 👏
Peter - as a 20+ handicapper I moved from "blades" to Wilson Fat Shaft about 10 years ago, following some advice from a friend who is a scratch golfer. They are definitely easier to hit but also added Cobra Baffler hybrids to help with the longer irons (3-5).
Obviously technology has come on even further over the last 10 years and now in the market for some new irons as I'm bringing my handicap down as I play more regularly.
Its really interesting to see these new irons and if I'm honest don't understand why more golfer don't got for the "forgiving" versions, apart from golf snobbery
Keep up the great work and love the changes of outfits in you video !😉
I remember hitting my dad's Spalding Executive irons. They were very similar in design to the Fazer XR irons. The Executives, to this day, decades later, were my favorite irons to hit. Very forgiving, felt amazing. I could crank a 3 iron and I couldn't even feel it squish off the club face. Amazing irons in my humble opinion.
Great review Peter. Been playing less than a year myself so forgiveness very important to me. After using some cheap Wilson Deep Red to get me up and running and have now upgraded to Callaway Mavrik Max (all second hand of course!). Wouldn't bother me one bit about how the clubs looked, as long as they helped me play a bit better. 👍⛳
I purchased the Cleveland Launcher XL Halo Irons in graphite but only the lower end of the bag 8-SW and the improvement in my game since purchasing them has been quite impressive....gone from high 80's to low 80's in half a dozen rounds
Thank you, I absolutely love Wilson, the brand is so underrated, but for the price and the playability is outstanding. As I'm not well off, I was still able to afford the D200 irons, they play so good.
My very first set was a Wilson box set It came with a driver, 3 wood, 5 wood, and 4-sw. Very solid, I have a friend who still plays them (the irons at least. The driver and woods have long since broken). After that I had the taylormade tour burners and they were very forgiving. The most forgiving I've ever hit are easily the great big berthas from Callaway. Ugly as the day is long but you literally can't hit them poorly.
I play Wilson D9’s with Tensei graphite shafts and I love them. 4&5 are hybrids and 6 to gap are irons. Forgiving, crazy distance, affordable, looks good, quality components. I got them a year ago and I’m totaly satisfied.
Started using Wilson Launch Pad irons (older than shown in this video) and they have changed my game. Went from low 90s to mid to low 80s. Love those irons.
I’ve a set arriving this weekend!
@@GamingOnTheGo has your game improved?
I have Ping blades (small heads) and have never shot below 90. My irons are very inconsistent and unforgiving. I need to try something easier.
I love the Wilson D9. soo forgiving that when my wife touched one, she forgave my infidelity.
Hi Pete, great vid, like always! Got myself fitted with the Titleist T 300 when they were introduced. Love them. Don’t think I‘ll ever bother to get other irons. Good and reliable distance control almost regardless where you hit the clubface. But it would certainly be an interesting experience to see you play a few holes with the Wilson irons vs. your fitted blades.
I was fitted with a set of Titleist irons. I hit a few balls then the fitter gave me a club…every shot straight….I asked him what he’d given me….1/2 inch longer…2 degrees upright….stiff shafts….Changed my game and my handicap! I asked him…”How on Earth did you know to give me that spec?”….”It’s my job”….he replied nonchalantly…..I loved those irons until arthritis got me…..
Went for a PXG fitting...currently play the PXG Gen 2 SGI irons and they are awesome...but wanted an upgrade so i was fitted with PXG Gen 4 ( P ) irons graphite shaft / 2 up lie / and a 10 gram weight instead of an 8 gram and midsize grips....all i got to say is WOW I love them...soft feeling and pure..thank you PXG...cheers from Canada
Spot-on Pete. I just got back from my Srixon fitting for irons and a driver. My ego was telling me I needed a blended set of ZX-7s and 5s. My head said to have no expectations and to go with feel and results. I put an order in for regular graphite-shafted ZX-4s (4-PW) and a stiff graphite-shafted ZX-5 driver. I have never hit such good shots in my life. The toed, heeled and thinned shots were still so much better than shots with my old clubs.
Pete, I agree that more players should play forgiving irons vs the ego sets. I play Mizuno Jpx 900 forged and Hot Metal combo weak loft and they are incredible! Great content as always.
Still playing with my callaway xr pro’s. Absolutely love them. They aren’t chunky but still forgiving. Wouldn’t recommend them to someone who just started golfing. But for mid to low hc that don’t want to spend a fortune they’re perfect
I bought the Sim2 MaxOS irons last year after playing with 20 year old Yonex irons. The difference in distance was STUNNING. 2-3 full clubs difference. Where I really noticed though was how many more fairways I hit. Or, on shots that I would've sliced into the woods, they'd settle in the rough or deep rough (but playable).
As a high handicapper lefty, I find most courses I play aren't set up to favour my type of swing. I only got 20 rounds or so in last year, but my scores in 2021 were in the 92 range, and in 2020 with the old irons they were 96/97. Playable lies, closer to the green... made a big difference. Love these irons.
LaunchPad MkII definitely a big improvement in looks over the first version. Yes they are big, but they have to be. Now they actually look quite classy
I was a seven handicap senior golfer playing TM SIMs. Demo'd the Halo, including hitting chips and pitching. Very impressed, ordered a set, 5 - D (Gap Wedge) and a hybrid. Unbelievable performance. I will gladly take the jokes and doubts that I will keep them long. Consistent distances, easy to swing and so much better around the green.
I'm a senior too, what shaft flex are are you using with your new clubs? Like you , I don't care about looks, just results. Thank you in advance
I'm playing the lovely Adams 2015 idea Tech in the black finish. Very forgiving, high launch maximizing the amazing technology for which TaylorMade bought out Adams and their patents. They are a bit bulkish, but as we know, wearing black is very thinning.
Although, I might end up hunting for the Wilsons as I am disabled and needing all the help I can get. Love you and your programming.
I am a beginner (10 months since first round - @ 1 year since first swing). I had the opportunity to spend an hour testing any and all the brands in an Atlanta golf shop and walked out with a receipt for a set of Halos. I got the full, fitted set just 3 weeks later!
I still swing other guys’ clubs whenever I can, but I haven’t swung any club that gives me better results than the Halos. If the club face is pointed in the right direction, I get a good shot.
I don’t use a driver, and my longest iron shot is about 160 yards. But I can still break 100 because the Halos compensate for my toe or heel shots.
Do it! Put them in your bag!!! I bought Radspeed irons in December (in Ontario, Canada) so I've yet to play with them, but my striking and distances are massively improved at the range. Can't wait to take them out on the course!
Great video Peter! Finally a review hi handicappers can understand and get some direct as to "forgiving" clubs!
I’ve gamed the old Wilson staff launch pad hybrid irons from starting out 2 years ago and got my handicap down to 10. Got them for half price barely used on gumtree. Just ordered the taylormade p790s so I can get some more workability and hopefully get my score into single figures. Exciting times :)
I'm similar, playing the old launch pad irons almost 2 years, went from a 12 to a 6 handicap. Not considering ever going back to anything conventional
I bought Titleist T300 irons last year. Much more forgiving than my old set of hand-me-downs and the jumbo grips on them feel a lot more comfortable.
OMG the memories! I snagged a set of Browning 440 irons from a pawn shop in '87, and I had never in my life hit anything so easily!
I'm looking at buying a new set of game improvement irons so this is super helpful. Love the channel, great content as always
PF: "these are the most forgiving irons of the year."
completely misses the green, the fringe, the bunker, ends up sidehilled in goat grass.
Hi there Pete,
It would be an interesting video if you played one ball with the forgiving irons and one with your regular irons 😁
Brilliant idea Calle!!
His sponsors wouldn't like that. lol
Or a full tournament with the hybrids 😬
@@frankmartinez6657 I bought a 7 hybrid to replace my 6 iron. I love my 6 hybrid. it is literally twice as good as my 5 iron. 180 to 190 and bites like a 9 iron. Goes higher, so trees are much easier to go over. Better out of the rough. Will never look back. I think the 7 hybrid will be just as good. Waiting on the Blue Ventus HB Velocore to stab in it.
I'd like to see that :)
Enjoyed the video Pete. I just bought the JPX 921 Hot Metal irons. I can't believe how straight they hit the ball. I'm glad I bought them.
Another great video Peter! New irons arrived last week 😁 p790s with ProjectX Rifle shaft, after 2 rounds I'm seeing a big difference in the long irons
These wilson are great for anyone starting out and even for the older player struggling for distince or swing speed
Hi Pete, I’m a 68 year old golfer and picked up a set of Cleveland 588MT irons with steel shafts which have given me more confidence in my swing and hence reduced the temptation to try and hit them harder. Yes as we get older we hopefully get wiser and I’m actually now on 15 handicap, lowest ever! Cheers and thanks for your great vblog, best on the net.
I keep going out to buy a new set of irons but like you, have the 588s. Yes, newer irons go longer but the 588s go up in predictable increments and give me full shots from closer in.
Similarly, was going to buy a Sim Max 2 driver but at the time, were out of stock with a few months waiting list. Being adjustable, I took the Cleveland down to the range and adjusted it - saved a few hundred quid.
I finally embraced sanity and put my blades in the cupboard a few years back in favour of game improvement clubs. Joy factor and scores are way better. For an amateur every little bit helps. Great video.
I bought a set of the Cleveland Launcher HB Irons and in my very late 60’s (age) and love them - so forgiving plus lots of height and greater distance - enjoyable to watch. They have improved my game significantly from a high handicap golfer
Callaway Rogue ST Max irons are incredibly forgiving! Huge improvement in my game after upgrading from 15 year old TM Burners 🥳
Yes I have them. I bought the Callaway fusions back in 2006 had them up until February 18 when the new Callaway rogue ST max came out oh my God what a difference unbelievable forgiven the driver as well
I'm playing them as well and I love them
Only problem with the rogues is I immediately gained an insane amount of yardage. I grabbed a pitching wedge from 115 yards and launched it over the course and into the elementary school across the street. I really have to slow it down with these.
Hey Pete,
I just bought T200s and absolutely love them. I’m not the greatest golfer but once you get used to a set they are much easier to hit even though there are a bit bladey compared to others
Just bought some T100 irons. Went to collect them, while I was there I hit a Ping G425 iron. Oops - already paid for the T100, too late to back out 🙈
@@SomethingEveryone yeah t100 or g425s you can't really go wrong imo
I’ve been playing since July/August last year, fell in love with the game and bought some used Ping i210’s (4-W) just after Christmas. And I’ve been hitting them more consistent and better than any forgiving iron I’ve tried. They’ve made golf more fun! Currently hitting my 4 iron a little further than 200 yards.
Been using the Cleaveland CG16 irons. its sooooooo damn good!
Great review as always 👍My old X-18s Calloway's are still one of the best forgiving irons I have hit ever. Thanks Pete 😊
Thanks for the great review. I purchased the PXG 0211 Z hybrid irons. They are awesome too! Bringing back the fun for occasional and high handicapper like me!
Pete, When you hit the TW and Stealth out the toe, what was the distance drop off against a centre strike for each club?
I have the original Mizuno MP20 HMB irons 4-PW. Love the looks and they are so easy to hit. Best look and forgiveness combo at the time - 2 years ago
Currently using Cobra T rail irons. Similar idea to the Wilsons, but I can't say I like them! Very hard to control when chipping, so much so, I've put my old pitching wedge back in the bag.
I’ve had Cleveland HB Turbos in my bag for 2 yrs. I absolutely love them. I’m off 13 and targeting single figures this year. Can’t see myself ever going back to “normal” irons
I went with the Cleveland HB Turbos too and they are spectacular.
Peter, I’m using the Adams Idea Tech that look a lot like this launch pads, but instead of that chrome flashing down there, they are black. They have a great feeling graphite shaft and are easy to hit. I am 68 and I needed a little help and I got these at the end of last year. I broke 80 with them for the first time in years. I can’t wait for this year. Golf courses have just opened in South Dakota last week. I got the new Wilson putter last year. It’s also very forgiving.
I'm thinking about getting fit for new irons in a few months when I get the money together. I was looking at the Stealth irons so this video came at the perfect time
Just bought a set of the p790s and got dynamic gold 105 shafts and Winn dry tech grips. 6 rounds in and I love these things
Just bought mizuno 921 hot metals to replace 900 forged as I wanted more forgiveness , launch and a bit more length as I get older . I know they are strong lofted but the launch , spin ,descent angle all just work so well . Put ego aside and use what helps .
Bang on - get in there fugly irons! I went Cleveland Hi-Bore 4-6 in my JPX 825 pro set, it has given me the confidence at 180+ which my ego was stopping me from having. Great video Pete.
Getting on in years but still playing to an 8 handicap I thought I’d gain by switching from my Calloway x22 to a GI iron.
Ended up with Mavrik Max after a fitting. Played for 6 months. Dead straight, very consistent, lowered handicap to 6 BUT couldn’t stand looking at the offset and they were numb.
Traded in for Mavrik Pro. Straight, accurate without the offset and got some feel back. ❤
I’m using Callaway X-Series 416 irons. Never heard of them before I was about to buy them. Really forgiving and ideal for a high handicapper like me!
I landed on P790s - not necessarily in the "forgiveness" category... but they're just the easy button. Used to have to swing out of my shoes to get a 4 iron to go 190, and would generally slice it. Now it's a smooth swing to carry 196 - 201, with a baby draw. Thin shots carry about 10 yards less, but go straight. Previously had R11s.
The P790s are the most forgiving in the TaylorMade iron line, no?
Hey Peter just wanted to say thank you! As I was watching your video here love the content by the way. But I watched your swing and I noticed an error in my own follow through swing. And I imitated your follow-through finish on your swing. Not only did I gain 15 yd distance with my irons I also lessened the strain on my back is to the way I was finishing with the head of my club touching my back pocket. And also my ball flight is not as insanely high LOL. Thank you again from Arkansas here in the USA, and thank you for sharing your God-given talent!!
Great vid. Love the enthusiasm! I went for a fitting last week. Chose the Stealths. Cobra’s came a very close second. Big step up from Wilson Matrix (very cheap high MOI).
I found the Stealths to be pretty good too, but had the best results (on a simulator) with the Srixon ZX5's - same distance, but higher launch and higher spin. Fairly consistent too, even with my pretty inconsistent ball striking. Was weird to hit 170-180 metres with a 7 iron though... Bit stronger lofted than my 20+ year old cavitys I'm currently using - I usually pick my current 7 iron for a 150-160m shot.
I purchased Wilson Staff D9 irons and I swear they’ve taken about 4-5 strokes off my play. I upgraded from some terrible blades from the 2000’s. I swear I’m hitting so many more greens with these irons and even mis hits tend to go further and more straight. Also the price was an insane deal compared to the big boys, highly highly recommended these irons if your a 80-100 shooting golfer.
Heyyyooo Peter Finch love all the content!! Can’t wait for a course vlog!!
Thanks Brian
I got to say the TaylorMade mcgb irons from a few years back are awesome. Its hard to hit a bad shot even for a 8 handicap. Simply put it's like having a bag full of drivers. Great video Pete, and I would love to see u play a 1v1 match with launchpads.
I have a set that I just replaced with the stealths , my last round with the mcgb was my best ever , it was a three double 80 , what a nice send off and just confirming that I will not be selling the old set but keep them for back up. Both are great clubs
I bought my wife a set of Cleveland Halo's and has really helped her to be a lots better iron player. She went from hitting her Cobra S2 irons to these and lowered her scores on average about 5 strokes around. So I have to give the most forgiving clubs to the Cleveland Halo's.
I hit Peter up on twitter about this. Want him to test them both for a video. Are the Halo's the ones with the ridges on the bottom with the cavity back or are those a different set?
Cleveland are the best woods in the business, not driver though imo
@@unipanther0438 yes she has 4 thru PW a it’s them all good. I also got her the 3 hybrid.
Where you from unipantber043? Lived in dancer hall for 2 years here haha
@@Billy-lq4fu I never lived in the dorms, but do have season football tickets!
I bought a set 8 years ago from Adams called A3OS (OS stands for oversized). they are not quite as thick as the launchpads but they are definitely very hybrid. 3-5 ARE hybrids and I love them. Not quite a blade player yet but I can see that, as I'm getting better lately, I may want to look at the stealths or something more like that for my next set. Thoughts?
I've just bought the cobra 🐍 speed zone irons. Love them!! Just swapped from 2nd hand mizuno jpx800 irons I purchased from golf bidder.
Loving my Callaway Steelhead Sr’s with the Project X LZ 6.0 120g shafts. So forgiving and effortless distance.
Love your informative content I’m a huge fan love your channel and your reviews I’ve subscribed with notification bell on 👍🏻 Cheers!
When I played lots of golf and before the long layup of my game due to job moves and area moves, then of course the arthritis, which further has delayed my return to golf my irons were a set of Ping S57 irons. I still love those irons, but hardly the most forgiving… plenty of feedback…. And on my return to the game perhaps need to be at least temporarily retired in favour of some more forgiving irons. So, any of the three sets mentioned would be great. Albeit necessarily in the graphite shafts and very cushioned grips to further protect; hands, wrists and elbows even more.
What I personally would be looking for are irons preferably sub £200 second hand for irons a couple or a few years old or more that are as forgiving as the ones looked at here, but where the technology is no less advanced.
For some reason I went with the PXG 0211 - definitely could have (and probably should have) spent less, but they are very nice looking behind the ball and are pretty forgiving. I badly thinned an 8-iron the other day from 140 and still ended up about 10 ft. There's also a PXG shop near me so I was able to get fitted, not sure I would recommend these without a fitting.
I went with the 0211dc and im pretty dissapointed, they arent as forgiving as my nike vrs x from like 10 years ago. A little off the heel and its like 20 yards short, massive differences in ball speed depending on where you hit them on the face. My 8 iron can fluctuate between 80mph ball speed and 115mph. Ive hit it 130y on a heel strike and ive hit it like 180 on a pure strike. They are teaching me to hit the middle though
Great video mate. Love the Cobra Rad speed irons, because the are very forgiving, plus they suit me best.
Great video. I’m getting fitted soon and considering some game improvement irons as I shoot in the mid to high 90s. Would love to see what you think of the pxg 0211Zs. Doesn’t seem to be a lot out there on them.
Currently using Ping G5 white dot (quite upright for my lanky frame). Generally very forgiving, and haven't had a flier from them 🙌
My set of 2006 Big Bertha irons do have a similar profile as those Wilson's; they look massive behind the ball. As a very high handicapper, I like that. Helps the confidence. And they are very forgiving.
Last fall I found an old set of callaway big berths 06 irons when I was cleaning out the garage (forgot I took them in on trade years ago)...injured shoulder so I've been messing around with them in my yard hitting balls into my field and man they're easy to hit. My srixon z785's will be on the shelf at least until the shoulder heals! The kbs c taper shafts in my srixons aren't good when u can't go at it like you normally would.
Taylormade Burner 2.0 are some of the best looking forgiving irons I've used. Love them.
Brilliant video👏🏻 Love the stealth irons but more importantly I love the golf course you are on cannot wait to get back there specially in the summer…Greens are fast coming from Liverpool we have a lot of 💩 courses😂
This video is so awesome... I use callaway big Bertha b21 irons, so forgiving on bad strikes
I play the Ping G710s…..I’m amazed at the forgiveness……7 iron from 150yds hit way out on the toe, and still hit the green……I’m 68 yo….so I’m not as long as I used to be…..but these are fun to hit!🇨🇦
Last year was a struggle for me. I purchased a set of Big Bertha B21 irons and they made a world of difference. My Callaway Apex 21 may not see the course again.
I've been using a set of old Ping Eye 2's for the last couple years. I just got fitted for a set of JPX 921 Hot Metals. I loved hitting them during the fitting. Can't wait for them to come in. Surly they will shave a couple strokes off my game lol
Have the Hot Metals , Love them,But if You Miss they will Let You Know it! Cheers!
Im using the Inesis 500 because i saw them in your video. I love them so far they are pretty consistent for me even when i misshit the ball (which happens alot) im a 54 handicap just started last year and will be playing my first tournaments next week and im happy im playing with them and not my irons from before.
Love those clubs
I've wanted to try these ever since I saw Pete's video but can't find them anywhere in the US not even ebay.
Just did a fitting and tried the Ltdx and the Stealth but ended up with Srixon Zx5 P-6 and a Zx4 5. Super happy so far.
Ordered my TaylorMade Stealth's a few weeks ago. Ready to get on the course after playing same clubs for many years.
Still using my TM Burner 2.0 irons. Very good performance for me. Have played the P790 irons and love them but can't quite make the move. Specs are very similar but the swing weights, D3 vs D2 respectively, is noticeable.
I have the P770s
best irons I've ever had
hi Pete, loving the content as usual.
i have always wanted to take up the game but alas i am as usually skint and sadly can't afford a set of clubs . I have came up with a cracking idea for a series for your you-tube channel.
taking a complete novice golfer giving me, oops i mean him a set of nice forgiving golf clubs and seeing how far I ,oops i've done it again i meant they can improve over so many golf lessons from a pro like yourself.
surely that would improve the subscribers to the already top notch golf channel.
I would love a budget set match up like a wilson profile with the cobra set or something like that....I'm probably going to be in the market for a new set and like to see the good honest reviews
I played the cleveland launcher hb turbo irons when starting off ,,helped my game massively
Love those irons
ZX5/7 are the best I've seen for feel/looks/forgiveness/distance for middle handicaps. I'm a 5 hdcp and play hybrids in 4 & 5 bc theyre simply way easier to hit. Also carry a 7 wood. Nothing wrong with making it easier.
Been rocking the Wilson D7 irons for a few years now. They are definitely an underrated set of clubs.
I switched from Tommy Armour atomic max irons to 2020 cobra forged tec. I could hit the ball further with the tommy armours, and they are very forgiving, but as I've increased my swing speed they start to feel more like bricks that are slowing me down. The forged tec are barely less forgiving however, and also give me more confidence shaping shots and chipping around the green. I can't recommend the tommy armour clubs enough though for an over the top chopper that wants forgiveness instead of lessons and practice!
Great video Pete, I have wilson D7 reakt irons, amazing distance and forgiveness
I'm at the "bogey golf on a good day" level (trying to get down to a solid mid-low teens handicap and I'll be happy ) and I stumbled across a well-priced (AUD 300) set of second hand Cleveland 588 MT irons last year (all are the MT variant of the 588 series: 4 to PW). They may have come out 10 years ago, but seem to have been a bit ahead of their time: muscle-backed (to cover up the cavity) but titanium, to keep the weight down and with a forged face.
Lower handicappers would probably hate them, with the chunky top line, the visible "@rse" on the 4/5/6 irons, and there is a loss of feel around the greens - but that's something I've learned to manage. The straightest face I use for short bump and runs is the 9 iron, and I've got used to the "chunkiness" of using it. But, combining the short irons in the set with a couple of proper "grown up" bladed wedges (a 52 degree Callaway and 58 degree Cleveland) seems to work well. I'm not a big hitter, so that gapping of 45 degree PW, 52 GW and 58 S/LW is something I can work with and "feel" my way around.
I love these irons for full shots, though. Their chunkiness behind the ball (without being ridiculous) gives me a lot of confidence, and I love the solid "thunk" when I hit the ball well. And off-centre strikes (which I have a lot of :-) ) aren't punished too much at all. I have a high spinny ball flight anyway, so I get the stop I need on the greens (on the rare occassions I hit greens from distance! :-) ) . These Cleveland 588 MTs have definitely helped me improve. Onwards and upwards!
I have Cobra UFi irons in graphite shafts in the bag. When they came out they were some of the most forgiving irons at the time.
Interesting video Peter. I use XXIO irons and love them.
As k d said Wilson equipment is underrated.
I need a very forgiving irons. Those Wilson's will definitely get a test from me. Thanks Pete
Would be nice to see a full round with the Wilson’s or tm, vs full round with your irons, would be really interesting to see if you do lose anything on course with the playability for a more skilled player.
Exactly
not sure about these Wilson irons but the D7 irons were amazing for forgiveness on miss hits as well as shot shaping.
He said “More forgiving than Mary Poppins on kite day” That’s gold 😂😂😂😂
I bought a set of Mizuno JPX 921 Hot Metals and as a newer golfer I love them!
Cobra f9 irons. The f9 irons were incredibly forgiving and extremely long. Great set for beginning golf.
Im looking to upgrade from Ping G5's thanks for the content!
I tried out the stealth irons and didn't see a crazy difference from the burner 2.0 irons I have. It's good to see TaylorMade making more forgiving irons again though as the burner sets are hard to come by
I did the exact same thing. Went from Burner 2.0 to the new black limited edition stealths. Not a huge difference but they look great lol
I bought the launch pads last year.. major game changer for me. they just work... when i have friends take a swing...it just works
