I purchased matcha from Ippodo thanks to your matcha review last year! I’m looking into trying a more affordable yet good tasting matcha this time around. I miss having my matcha lattes everyday 🍵
I've been on matcha for about 6 days now and I am truly blown away at how amazing it is in so many aspects. One thing I'm noticing I bought a cheap non-organic matcha off of Amazon called Ujito and it actually seems quite stronger in the level of energy I get compared to organic Jade leaf matcha. My matcha Kari is still in the mail. So far I'm thinking non-organic might be best if it is stronger, and also much cheaper. Uji region stuff seems to be my favorite so far. But I'm a newb trying to figure all this out. Thanks for the vid
thanks for your reviews. I especially like the "shorts". I tried Rishi. It was ok. One thing I've learned from you is the fragrance of matcha. Yesterday I took out my little tins and sniffed them to see what smell would be there. The only one that smells fresh is Ayia Ceremonial. I also drink culinary for daily use because it is most affordable for me. However, I want to experiment with the various matchas. I am fascinated by flavor because the first matcha I tried was at Starbucks and it tasted like spinach. They use 3 scoops of matcha for a grande. I tried 3 scoops today at home and was finally able to replicate the flavor!
Love your matcha videos! Can you please do a video rating the worst and best matcha to-go sticks? I'd like to be able to keep one in my bag for when I need a pick-me-up on the go.
Can you make a short video reviewing Ito En Oi Ocha Uji Matcha, the one using stone-ground tencha produced in Kyoto. I heard it is very affordable and high quality, winning many higher price matcha brand out there.
Hi, is it important to use the "Bamboo whisker" ? Does it improve anything ? Actually i have a little stainless milk whisker, may be it does the work ?
Whoops forgot to cut this part out 😅 7:20 Been drinking matcha for awhile now but always bought it from places that make it. Now I'm trying to make it at home and this video helped a lot.
Hey I found your review very helpful. I’m new to the matcha world and I’m trying to learn more about it. Do you think you could do a Tenzo matcha review soon??
Could you recommend an organic matcha brand that also guarantees to be free from radiation? I’m looking for options that are well-regarded for their quality and safety, but I haven’t come across any rankings or reviews that specifically address these concerns.
Have you tried the Ocha & Co. Matcha? Their Organic Matcha is only $28/100g and I really like it. I like their Kyoto Uji Matcha even better but is is not organic and is 4x the price.
I found a brand you didn't cover, and tried looking online for reviews and theres a surprising shortage of information about it, as well as looking up the brand, it seems to have a few different logos with the same name (possibly counterfeit?) But Nutri-hut (non circular logo) Matcha powder claiming premium "gulinarey" grade, 454g for $20 retail, found the same package on eBay for $35+ . Also concerned about the lead warning ⚠️ on the back and i would like to know how fleeced I was when i purchased this item, please
Do you have any suggestions when I comes to Sweet matcha drinks? I do not have a sense of smell, I was born that way. I wanted to make the switch from Coffee to matcha but I tend to like drinks that taste like caramel frappe from McDonald’s.
Great job. Is there an email where I can get in touch with you please? I have a few questions regarding a Kyusu teapot I bought About the Japanese writing on it. Thanks sooooooo very much. Keep up the good work 👌😉
I’ve tried their shop in Manhattan and I liked their latte! It could be stronger though. I haven’t bought their actual powder before. It’s on my long list of things to try
Could you hold the container of your favorite still long enough for us to see the label and also say the name more slowly so we could actually buy it? You were waving it around in the air so fast so I couldn't really see it and then said the name so fast I couldn't even hear it. I would like to buy it still but have no idea what it is called and couldn't get a clear look at the container.
In my opinion, these tiny containers of matcha are a despicable scam. A gram of the so-called ceremonial matcha costs more of a gram of gold. Stop buying these tiny containers and just purchase culinary matcha. To get a decent cup of matcha tea or latte matcha tea, you need at least a teaspoon or 5 grams of tea powder. At the end, matcha is a green tea. PERIOD
Though matcha is expensive using culinary matcha is much more different than drinking matcha. Culinary matcha is used for cakes, puddings, ect. And ceremonial grade is for drinking they will not taste the same
As a tea ✨connoisseur✨ what you said makes no sense to me. Culinary grade matcha tastes absolutely disgusting, bitter and bland as a drink and is often gritty. A good matcha should be vibrant, complex in flavour, low in bitterness (in my opinion) and as smooth as can be. The effort and details it takes to make a good tea, matcha or otherwise, tends to make it an expensive ordeal. It’s a luxury item at a luxury price. If you’re someone who just heard that matcha will cure cancer or something and you want in on the health benefits then go ahead and do shots of bitter yellow-brown matcha at a low price, but if you want to enjoy a beautiful cup of tea then it’s worth splashing out. It’s down to the consumer and their preferences
So ignorant & stupid you obviously no nothing about matcha tea😅 … not to mention the price of gold… currently $70 per gram compared with $1 per gram of superior ceremonial grade matcha 😅😅😅

I love your weirdly but accurate descriptions of the matcha! Would you do a UK version of this?

What is sweetest matcha ?
Every time I buy matcha tea, and they show in the description that it's bright light green, it's always a dark green and it's horrible.

Hi Yes! I'll check it out! I'll film a short for my review :)
Which Matcha is your favorite of all time?
Great job. Is there an email where I can get in touch with you please? I have a few questions regarding a Kyusu teapot I bought
