Love this video!! I’ve been to most of those places in CO myself over the years and some of my best memories were made there. Best line of the day by Stan….. ”I’m a grown man. I don’t split anything,” 😂😂. Love you both!
@@surveyboss Hi Jim, so good to hear from you! We have been praying all has been going well with you, your bride and family. Miss hearing from you and I hope Texas has been treating you well. Next week will be the last video of Season 7 and move on to Season 8, Canada.🇨🇦 As we continue on this journey we truly get to reflect on all the wonderful people we have met these last four years. Yes, now the truth comes out, you could hardly move the next day! 😉Smart to take the elevator when it is provided! LOL! The water falls were so magnificent This is definitely on our list of things to do, beautiful. OH NO. 1 week's time? That is some quick nest building and laying of eggs!!! - Jim & Michelle
Hi Jim and Michelle, that’s right no pain no gain! We should have prepared for a hike like that! Oh well better than regretting we should have. I ( Stan) was walking around next day like a whining baby to be honest. Thank you for joining us! Blessings, Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
Great video guys! So pretty! I like Stan’s idea of a picnic. It’s so disappointing when you spend money and the food isn’t great. The onion rings did look good! Thx for sharing! ❤~Lareka
Hi Lareka! Thank you for your kind words ☺️ Yes, a picnic would have been a much better option, but we enjoyed the atmosphere anyway… and the onion rings 😃 Hope all is well! Looking forward to seeing you guys this winter 👏
We had an opossum build a nest in our engine block and move in her babies. Our dog alerted us from the passenger side front seat by whining and scratching. I moved her out with a grill lid and work gloves!
7 Falls is beautiful at Christmas when the falls are lit at night. Havent been there in years though. I've been there but it was free when I went. Went there a couple of years ago and was shocked at the cost now. Also, was shocked when I went to the Royal Gorge to find out that it now costs to see it when it too used to be free. Needless to say, I've been there so many time it didn't bother me to wait for family visitors to pay to see it.
Love the video. You guys are great! Jeff would not split that either just saying. Colorado is sure beautiful. My friend who lives in Colorado says we definitely need to check out the Grand Mesa as well. Loved the waterfalls❤
Hi Guys! Colorado is beautiful! Some of the places we highlighted are just breathtaking. We need to do Grand Mesa. We know we missed a lot! Just another reason to go back. Love you guys! Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
Another great video! Y'all are so funny! I'll bet y'all could hardly walk after that death climb! That's happened to me (Bob) twice: once when I was an undergrad and had to climb to the top of the mountain behind my college (New Mexico Tech) for the St. Patrick's Day celebration (read "hazing"). I climbed up the front of the mountain, helped paint the "M" and signed a book, then was supposed to eat some lunch, but the Upperclassmen had eaten everything but some oranges. Then I had to walk down the way I came up. I was the last one off the mountain. I couldn't move the next day. The second time was when my professor in Grad School had a forced march up to the top of McKittrick Canyon south of Carlsbad Caverns to see the Capitan Reef. Only a couple of people made it up with the professor. I got halfway up and met them coming down. I could hardly walk the next day but still made it to class. Yes, that pain is REAL! Those falls were beautiful! Reminded us of some of the falls and the forests in the UP! There are SO MANY places to visit in Colorado, it's hard to decide where to go. Have y'all done Colorado National Monument yet? It's outside of Fruita west of Grand Junction. We're looking forward to y'all's next video! How's the new rig holding up? We've narrowed the field down and Grand Design is still on the list (because of their new warranty). Safe travels, and God bless y'all! Bob and Dottie
Hello Bob and Dottie, thank you for joining us! Bob thank you for sharing your story. We have had a couple of things go bad. We will share them all in our video in two weeks six month review. We had a mishap with our furnace. The furnace fan broke made by Furrion. It was not a big deal made of plastic changed it out in an hour and a half. We were on the road road at the Idaho Rally. Luckily the Grand Design SRT Team had the part on the truck. Then we discovered something very interesting. The industry is moving towards a new more pliable Dicor Silicone. This goes on the roof around all the seems, vents, ect. I am very meticulously when it comes to the roof of our rig. I check it every trip. When we got home we notice cracks in the silicone everywhere. This is why it is a so important to have a good dealer to work with. I showed them my concerns and now we are getting a new roof put on. I knew the new stuff was different. It did not harden actually stayed a little sticky. I already told Grand Design this might be an industry problem. Maybe I got a bad batch. Nevertheless, it is being taking care of. We absolutely love our rig and would not change for the world. The simply fact you go to these rallies and Grand Design’s SRT (Service Response Team) are there to help you! Just amazing! Anyway parts are ordered it only takes our dealer a couple weeks to do the job and we are good to go. I know getting up on the roof maybe tuff nevertheless have a professional inspection I can’t stress this enough. Just like buying a new home. The Grand Design SRT are basically a team of 12 trucks that travel the nation helping folks with emergency services if you break down on the road. If they are close they will help. They even stop for SOB’s. Some Other Brand they are mandated to stop. Blessings, Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
@OverTheHillAdventures - Thanks for the updates and insights from your experiences. I definitely prefer self-leveling Dicor sealant over silicone. We had to have our heater cleaned out before our trip this past September. It had stopped working after 8 years, and I thought it needed replacement. It was just clogged with dirt (!?!) from who-knows-where since we have wasp screens on all of our intake and exhaust ports. Things happen. Grand Design is definitely on our short list. Your recommendations were very helpful! Many thanks! God bless y'all! Bob and Dottie
@ sorry you are correct I was calling it silicone it is self leveling Dicor sealant a new kind. Still sealant just more soft and sticky. Just real weird stuff.
@OverTheHillAdventures - Sounds like a bad batch. Well, there's an old saying: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Replacing the whole roof because of some bad sealant seems a bit drastic, don't you think? God bless y'all! Bob and Dottie
@ because of the crack in the sealant air got under the membrane. Trying to take the sealant off without damaging the membrane will be a nightmare. So I’m glad they are doing it.
Hehehe Girl you make me Laugh, split a hamburger in half. Well, maybe split a dessert. Just way too many steps for me. It looks 👀like to me that you are looking for the High Way to Heaven. Did I miss the total of the lunch? Nice video, and YES to Colorado.
