Just left Rodgers creek on the hiwasee river in tn Calhoun it's a great place not far from places but far enough you don't see civilized country no stores gas stations restaurants etc but there only 10 min away in Cleveland tn lot of camping spots around the area national forest mountians trout streams bears deer etc check it out

Stoner was a ski resort, but due to the remote location and given that Telluride is near by, the ski resort didn’t make it. Also the T-bar lift was running at Chapman Hill in Durango until this spring. It has been taken down and being replaced. Love the area and why I chose to live here
I haven't camped in 25 years however in my younger years our family always went camping for our vacations and we never camped at a campground this nice.

I am a back up caretaker for a house. A friend bought an A frame for traveling NURSES and DOCTORS. She calls it the bird house, absolutely gorgeous!! I just had a tour, and will take over for her while they vacation, or if she got sick. I can walk to it! She made it with all new appliances! I am still amazed, I want to live there! Which was exactly what she was going for.....great amenities, she/I are a text away, with service under an hour, cuz we both live close!! Lakeport California.....you will find the Bird House....
Wow, what a paradise ! seriously .. . Did anyone have any really good weed ? Even in Colorado it seems like in 2024 it is hard to find super amazing weed at legal dispensaries. In the early days when Colorado was the only legal recreational state 2015-2019 the quality of the weed was 9 out of 10, world class amazing bud.
Lol i clicked because i thought this was a cannabis themed RV/Camping park lol. It still is a nice looking place to be. Plus it is in Colorado so they are a cannabis legal state anyway. Still a very serene spot, glad i watched.
Looks great I checked prices s price wise not bad.. 25 bucks to 55 bucks tent to rv pad all hook ups My big complaint, sites are way to close to one another.., like a hotel without walls...
By the way that's not really a creek, I believe it's the Delores River. Last time I was in Delores they had an excellent steak house restaurant with an outside patio to enjoy your meal while listening to the Delores River passing by. Love that area!
$50 is cheap today for full hookups, free laundry, free firewood and excellent wifi. But it would be expensive to someone use to boondocking. We like full hookups. Everyone camps differently!!

Not at all they have all kinds of things to do for the kids as well swimming pool and a kids area specific boat ramps fishing docks on the peace river in the winter u can find big sharks teeth and other big fossils
The whole area between Dolores and Telluride on 145 just doesn't get its props. Everyone fixates on the Million Dollar Highway and few seem to make the whole San Juan Loop. This campground is just one more reason to check out the area. SW Colorado has so much to offer it's worth being your destination for at least a week or two.
Pork rines ha ha Iam telling you man you need to pull that rig of yours to that place and stay a few weeks. It would be perfect for you guys and the dogs. The whole time we were there I kept telling Dar you guys would love this Make sure he puts you on the water. So much to do in the area. We are going back next year just to hang out for a couple of weeks just to be there. See you on the road sometime

$50+ per night seems (to me) a little expensive and the sites are too close together for someone who is accustomed to boondocking.
