- In this video we review one of Colorado's best state park campgrounds, Cheyenne Mountain State Park. This quickly became one of our favorite state park campgrounds, with full hookups at every RV site. Yes!! We have stayed there 3 times once in the summer and twice in the fall, it has awesome views and great clean amenities.
We have always felt safe and comfortable 😊

Great review. Our dog is named Tucker also, and he is our travel buddy. He is a 100 pound lab that has never met an enemy LOL. We appreciate the information you give on the area and if it is pet friendly. We live in California backed up to mountains, so we hike daily with Tucker and always love if there are trails the dogs can go on when we are camping.
Tucker is a great name! Labs are so sweet and have the best personalities. Sounds like your Tucker is living his best life. 🧡

The one thing I have done is create a private Google Maps for myself and every time I watch a UA-camr that reviews a nice campground, restaurant, attraction or location, I mark it on my private Google map, so all across the country, wherever we are, I already have a "cheat sheet" of the nice places to stay and things to do and see.
Chris does the same thing. It's really helps us when were traveling. Great minds must think alike! Take care and enjoy your travels!
You definitely picked a great one. I don't know if we have a favorite, but this one makes our top 5 list. We also really like Rigeway State Park. Another great park is State Forest State Park. No hookups, but so many outdoor activities and the scenery is simply spectacular.

Great Review....we love state parks and COE parks. Usually much more beautiful than RV Resorts/Parks. We did not do as many this year as we did last year..but we are headed to TopsailState park in Fl soon.

I remember you guys from Cheyenne Mountain park it took me awhile to find you, i’m the guy that was straight across from you in the class A with the Orange Jeep Wrangler. I had to do some stalking on you tube to find you, sorry. Anyways I am in the Air Force at Peterson in Colo. Spgs. i would love to show you guys the Fire Fighting Aircraft on base as i remember you mentioning them in a previous video. Take Care Safe Travels

Great video! Actually, Colorado changed the law in 2023; If you're a Colorado resident you can piggyback an annual parks pass for roughly $35 per year on your vehicle registration. It's a great deal! Gonna try to book a site tonight!

This is a very nice park. We stayed at an RV park in Colorado Springs that we didn't care for much. We would love to go to this one one day.

Been following for awhile, first time commenting the best decision is adding the bloopers! It shows the real side of life and both Soooo keep that camera on to catch the silly side of y’all 😂!!

We love that State Park….. try Ridgeway State Park near Ouray, CO…. beautiful area! Cherry Creek SP or Chatfield SP near Denver are nice too!

@@oureverydaygetaway we like Loop B, FHU starting with sites 68 along the outside where you can see the lake! Loop A on the outside sites is nice too! It fills up fast…. try to get reservations as soon as possible!

Wow I can't believe you have to pay an additional $8 a day to come and go from the park when you are paying daily for camping. We are from Virginia and when we camp with our RV at VA state parks, they give us a tag for our car so that we don't have to pay for daily entrance fee during our stay, it's included. Great review, looks beautiful, I love your videos.
It's the daily fee for state parks in Colorado. You can also get a yearly pass for around $80.00. We're from Maryland so not sure if your a Colorado resident you can get into the state parks there for free. Such a beautiful state park! Thank you so very much for watching and leaving a comment! Colorado State parks are great. Plenty of space, so you aren’t on top of your neighbors. Crawford state park was our favorite in Colorado.

I just booked our trip to this state park for August. There's only 2 tent spots left, every other tent and the rv sites are filled.

I wouldn't say top 5 for me. But I don't enjoy being so close to large cities. Mueller is my fav close to Colo springs. Lathrop is fav as well.

For a state park it's on the more expensive side but if you buy the yearly park pass the cost goes down a little. Take care and safe travels.
