Wow, what a great recap of your Colorado journey. Thanks for the tips/locations/RV parks that you visited. I'm planning a trip to Durango for spring '25 and will definitely take the train with my bride and 2 puppies (Sadie and Mia), who love to RV with us. I've always wanted to travel the Million Dollar Highway and now that we have retired and reside in Woodland Park (actually right next door to Diamond RV Park), we are having fun exploring more of Colorado--such a beautiful state. We took the Manitou COG Railroad up to Pikes Peak ($58/person), but it was wonderful, and the guides were humorous and provided a lot of local history as well valuable site seeing information to enrich the journey. I love your journeys and how your share everything (good/regrets) and provide so much wonderful tips too. Hang in there and continue to share your thoughts and updates--you are a wonderful couple and that is beautiful to see in today's world. God Bless you both...
Hi Steven, thank you for your joining and your wonderful comment. It is substance like this in our comments we love. The Million Dollar Highway you will love especially Ouray. The Yankee Boy Basin we will cherish that memory for ever. When you see God’s paint brush before your eyes, it is simply overwhelming. We ask God to bless you in your retirement! Find your new adventure and don’t look back. We just heard this on a post, Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift! We are not promised tomorrow enjoy every minute of this day! Blessings to you and your bride, Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
Nice itinerary guys - we have managed to miss most of these destinations so very thankful for you sharing this. Such a pretty state. Well done on this and love all the wildlife you saw. Looking forward to spending some time with you this winter ❤
Hello Bob and Dang, thank you as always for joining us! Like we said Colorado is a big state and we know we missed a lot. What we did see was incredible! January is coming quick! Will be at the Havasu balloon festival, the United Rally in Tucson, Quartzsite RV Show our Meet Up will be on the January 25 at the MORryde booth again, and the GD rally. A very busy January. We can’t wait to see you guys again. Blessings, Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
Hi Guys! We kick off Season 8 on Wednesday from Gig Harbor. So excited to share Vancouver Island what an amazing experience. We will see you soon! Blessings, Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
Great job showing off Colorado. Moved here 7 years ago. Love having all the natural beauty within a few hours drive. Just subbed and looking forward to viewing your content!
Hi George, thank you for joining Team OTHA and joining us! You are a lucky person to live so close to some of the most beautiful places in America. Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and the recap of your journey. Cathy and I took some good notes and can’t wait to get out there. Thanks From Wisconsin
Think we stayed in the same campground in about 2014. Loved it. Just out of town, but feels like you’re way out in the woods. We also took the train to Silverton and back. May was probably too early to see people playing and floating in the river near Durango in the afternoon. Caution! Apparently it’s a thing for people by the river to moon the train! 😮
Enjoying your channel! You guys are a great couple, great energy comes through the camera, love your adventures and love Stan's necklace! I had a similar one but gave it to my oldest son. I need to get another even though I won't look even half as cool as Stan.
Sounds like a great trip. I always like to see the campgrounds you stay at. The train at Durango looks like fun. We were in South Dakota while you were in Colorado. Thanks for the itinerary 😊
Hi Barbara, We absolutely feel blessed to be able to live the adventures then relive them and share them to help others. Thank you for your kind words. ☺️~ Rhonda and Stan
Hi Leslie, We loved visiting your town of Durango! The train ride was definitely a highlight for us. We see that they do the Polar Express for the holidays! How fun that would be especially for kids🎅🧑🎄 Stay cozy! Thanks for watching 👏 ~ Rhonda and Stan
We absolutely love the video! You guys are amazing! We will definitely try this itinerary when we go. We are so blessed to live in such an amazing beautiful place. Can't wait to get moving❤
Thank you! We actually made a stop at the Great Sand Dunes a few years ago. Unfortunately, it was a quick stop in a thunderstorm storm so we didn’t get to enjoy it. We missed Zapata Falls all together too! Thanks for the tips!
I live in Colorado Springs. Unfortunately, there aren’t any great campgrounds in town. Cheyenne Mountain State Park is close and it’s beautiful, but hard to get into. Looks like you had a great Colorado experience!
IMHO.... you didn't miss much by skipping Telluride. The gondola ride to Mountain Village is worth it, but things both in Mt. Village and Telluride are over priced. Next time you are in Ouray, take a jeep tour. You will really see things that you can't see from the highway. Most of the jeep trails are open by late June. When in Silverton go through the Museum, it is worth the admission (tip... buy the pass for the mine tour and the mill in addition to the museum). The campgrounds in Colorado Springs proper are more like parking lots, you were smart to stay in Woodland Park. Next time, go see Florissant Fossil Beds NP.
Thank you very much! Go back and watch our Ouray video when we take our truck on the Yankee Boy Trail just outside of Ouray. Breathtaking!! I’m sure you already know. Thank you for all the good tips! Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
Hi Lisa, thank you and thank you for joining us! We have been told that but I guess it’s hard to get into. We will have to check it out. Blessings, Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
Loved this video; CO is on our list! Thanks for all the “real” tips!
We appreciate that! Thank you for joining us!! Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
You two are a beautiful couple. Another great video.
Hi Allen, we really appreciate your kind words. Thank you for joining us every week! Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
