- Hello, I have a nice block of a Red cedar here. It is very special with those side branches. So I have to make a choice, a narrow long plate without side branches or a bowl with side branches. I opted for side branches. It's always easy to say afterwards, of course, but I don't know how the long plate would have turned out. But I'm happy with the result and crazy about the colors that come out. Enjoy watching and let me know how you think it turned out. Thanks for watching 🔔👍.

Great job! Looks beautiful. I work with Red Cedar quite often and a base coat of oil gives that heartwood a nice deep, rich color. Keep up the good work.

Really nice love the handle looking branch and the ceader is really pretty looking wish i could get hold of it but being in England its hard to come across nevermind keep up the work pleasure to watch

Very beautiful! The best is the enemy of the good! You always try to do something interesting, but one movement of the cutter changes the whole picture!
@@ivanbukh7576 That is true! It's always a surprise what will happen and how it will turn out. I find that one of the fun sides of wood turning 😉.
