Metal with Dead Guitar Strings | Amped ML5

Everyone makes guitar demos using fresh strings, because that's what you're supposed to do if you want good tone.
Can I make a decent tone with dead strings? "Maybe" is the answer

@@OthiOthiI feel you, got it the other way. Recording Reaper or playing normally sounds good, but the moment I hit render, it's extremely bassy, if not utter earrape.
