I love that the two of you are enjoying the hobby together! You can be doing your own thing but still sharing space, sameness and continually growing toghther 😊 Really awesome to watch! The rack is real pretty.
Love it! You are very knowledgeable in bettas. I like that you kept a little space between the containers to allow them to flare and see other bettas.
I like the clean, modern-like ascetics of the look from the bare bottom tanks w/ the white, greenery & wood detail. The fish ‘pop’ & it’s beautiful!!! Can’t wait to see what this looks like full ❤
The black and white and Koi bettas are stunning!
I love this Betta rack. Is genius, it had to be The King of DIY. Great job man.
unreal imagination and execution Joey. Well done!!!
They sell little door stoppers that mount to the hinge of the door - can be adjusted to set the opening - It's called a hinge pin stop. Would work great for this.
My son moves out....i have got to have a fish room.... i love this rack
Very cool setup! I have a giant koi betta and I love him! You picked two of my favorite color combinations!
The white background and the good lighting are fantastic here!
Super cool👌🏻 add floating plants!
i love the way the gallery looks now!
I'm from asia, and this is just me. I have been keeping betta since i was in elementary, tbh 3 gallons is just fine. Esp if you are keeping them bare. Not to mention if you are keeping fancy tails. Swimming at a big tank with that much weight on your fins, that is hard.
It's not about the size of the tank, it's about the cycle. Obviously they need room to exercise but you can keep them in a pretty small tank as long as it can safely hold a cycle and you're knowledgeable enough to maintain it.
Bettas are my absolute favorites to keep. So glad you are getting into them.
WOW WOW WOW....Those Samurai and Koi bettas are awesome.
That betta rack is badass! With the plants on the side and the scapes in the aquariums. Top notch Joey great job on this one, wow!
The heat pump can become a problem for that 70 gallon aquarium. even though the heat pump is set to 25 degrees, when it heats up and produces heat, the temperature can reach 50 degrees right up there with the blowout.
If you take a temperature laser meter and get the pump to start up, the temperature can get quite high. point the temperature gauge up into the fan or under the filters right on the coil when the pump is running. then you will find out exactly what the temperature is Out of the heat pump. but that temperature will vary in relation to the outside temperature and how hard the pump has to work🙂
But as long as the air flow doesn't blow directly on the aquarium and you set it to blow over, it should go just fine 🙂 just wanted to let you know in case you haven't thought about it. so it doesn't suddenly blow down on the aquarium 😊
If it was plumbed by itself that could definitely be a problem. Connected to such a large volume of water it's not going to overheat because it's constantly pulling new water from the other tanks.
Daamn those black samurai bettas looks SICKK 💪🏽!!
Beautiful outcome. I would love to have this beta wall. There is so much potential. Great job King.
I need one of those racks...I love my Betta fish
Betta's have came a long long long way! I use to breed them when I was a teenager 😂 that was many moons ago! You got some really phenomenal bettas! I'm jelly! 😂 the koi are top notch! ❤
That’s nice!!! Love it. All the greenery around it looks good.
Your Finance did a great getting you into Betta. Betta is my favorite fish. I'm looking forward to what your going to do. Oh great choice by the way,i love the Black Samurai pair.
This is awesome as I have been given a terrarium and really want to change it to a planted betta tank xxxx
Wow! Great work! Truly inspiring and informative.
Wow!!!! Joey, that betta rack is freaking amazeballs!!!!! I absolutely love it!!!!!!!😃😃😃😃
Npc
Betta rack looks good glad you guys can share the hobby together. Two things Joey your Betta picks look great and T watch he don't take it over. 😂😂🤣 Safe Travels 🙏🏻✌🏻
I would add Salvinia
Floating plants help preventing jumping and keeping the water clean.
Freefloating stemplants like Limnophila Sessiflora could work in bigger tanks as well.
You built Bleecher for bettas. Instead of bums on seats it's tanks. lol. Nice one, I bet you get lot of brownie points. Your bettas are wow! .
simple and easy to make, good job on the rack! Still use your 2x4 fish tank stand blueprints from years ago to build my beta tank.
💯 !! Looks good bro !! Shout out from Detroit Michigan !!
Betta rack looks really good.👍🏻
would add some type of lids to them some betta fish will jump that 1inch easy.... learned the hard way...
Any air pump is quite brand new haha and in comparison to all other stuff in the room jaja
Joey should dive into the world of wild bettas. Get some Macrastoma and breed those!
Those tanks came out great ❤😂😂
Any chance you can get into it more as far as building the rack? Looks amazing and the more you explained the more I was amazed!
hey just wondering you can use a floor door stopper for the floor so it wont go swing all the through.
I'm late to the party but I love this vid! ;D
This is going to look amazing
Both the samurai and the Nemo candy look stunning 😮
Absolutely love the Beta set up! Beautiful!!❤
I'm not sure if i like the size of the tanks, but you did a beautiful job building it all!
Regarding the potential jumping, have you considered some type of floating plants?
Maybe duckweed with a small feeding ring? :)
In the wild, bettas survive in puddles honestly. If they end up in a pond, they stay on the edges where the water is very shallow. That way they can build bubble nests easily.
@@TedH71 they survive in puddles, but don't thrive in them.
The size is alright, it's the bare minimum, but the filtration is good
it's not even bare minimum, it'd be ok if he sold them in those tanks, but those are permanent "tanks" for those poor fish@@strider5119
3 gallon is 11 liters hahahahahaha in most of europe you are not allowed to have a betta in a tank under 40 Liters@@strider5119
Holy smokes that samurai betta is gorgeous 😮
Where did you get the tanks??
joey do a step by step for the build
Solid rack! Well done bro
I would build a rack like this with the Topfin 5 gallon Rimless kits.
could you put info on the air pump... i really need a silent one . and im not lookin to spend 100 bucks for air. TY.
I saw it on tamara's vlog and i didnt expect it that the rack is giving u a hard time to build it 😅
You guys could start breeding them and enter into betta show competitions.
I love it, I love them!!!! I’m soooo excited🤩🤩
I have a suggestion, though maybe a slightly controversial one; you should convince Joey to relocate the 70 Gallon Salt Water Cube somewhere else, and possibly the tool wall as well (so you're not constantly bumping it). Then you can put a nice arm chair or bench in that spot so you can relax and enjoy the betta rack without sitting in the doorway. Maybe he'll go along with it if you tell him that it'll be better for enjoying the piranha as well. It seems like the purpose of the remodel has been to make it a place to relax and enjoy, and less about cramming the max amount of fish and making more work for youselves. But the main hangout spot seems to be the main room. That would make that room just a little nicer to enjoy and more of a feature room.
Hey T , Congrats to your awesome new 1 of kind Betta rack system. Just a few more reasons to love @ADayWithT & I think you're New Space deserves something that allows you to be comfortable and this is what I came up with HARBOR FREIGHT has Pittsburgh Automotive Mechanic roller seat with drawers. I've been checking out the reviews and 96% $8o !!! The other ideas is a ULINE Rolling Step stool $62 also great reviews and stepping on it locks the wheels
I like those tanks. My hubby is going to build me a rack. Just with 5 gallons. Do they have these in 5 gallons
Finally a beta fish , been saying to make a rack since 2016
Thank you love the betta and the tank rack 😊😊😊
I bred these fish for a couple of years with my dad. I would give them all to my LFS. I love the Koi's ❤️❤️🇬🇧
Quality work!
Amazing display K
Where are you getting the tanks from?
Looking good!
Bettas do get addictive lol I keep males in 2gl jars but I breed in very small 40oz tub now I have hundreds of bettas lol.
that rack is a perfect design for people who want to have a wall of tanks but not break the bank doing it.
Betta fish are very addictive.. I 1st started from 1 betta.. in just 1 mth 1 had 12 males in each 5gln tanks and 20 females in their own 40gln tank.😅😅
Waterfall from the back in the tank would be nice
The rack is awesome 👍🏻👍🏻
That is so cool
Where did you get the tanks for this and if you made them can you show how you made them please
I would love to see the beta rack concept as a way of breeding other small fish
Love this ! May I ask where did u order the acrylic tanks? My name is Tamara also!
Love it!!!
Love the beta rack!! Looks awesome and well put together
Can we get a link to where you bought those bettas? They are amazing
Nice you got a link for the tanks?
If only beta wouldnt need heater id keep them.. i just love how they look
Nice job Joey
Do you have a link for the specific tanks used? I love the size/dimensions.
Beautiful set up !
Looks amazing brother
Very pretty
Did you make each individual tank? If not, where did you get them?
Thanks
Where did you get those tank that they are in?
They look amazing, good job on the rack also
"the betta tank is gonna get better and better..." 😂👍
That is fantastic..... love the design
Too funny, I also use a piece of wood to stop my door from hitting my tank stand 🤣
They make door stops that can go on the door hinges. Just another idea for you to look into.
Look like you need a bigger fish gallery ps be safe with the weather coming to your area
When will we get the second part of the video you did where you came clean about dark areas of your past?
Cool DIY rack
Where did u guys get those awesome tanks
Oooooo how exciting!
Would be cool if they all have a sprig of propagated pothos in them
Looks amazing
Macrostoma betta and Antuta bettas is the best bettas u need to keep!
You should put the first saltwater fish you ever kept in the 70 gallon in the front room to keep the theme!
where did you get these tanks?
Quick question, how can you tell whose male or female for albino corydoras
Did you just say there’s only 48 aquariums out here? Lol come on Joey!
Where did you get the tanks? What air pump are you using?
Hey Joey!
love the videos :)
what do you mean you heat the building? what makes it different then lets say me keeping a tank in my livingroom? that has always confused me. what im guessing is you keep your fish room at 78(ish) where most houses can be cooler
The Gallery is kept at a higher stable temperature for the benefit of the fish, not the humans.
