We all need to be thankful , not just for all the work that everyone put into this movie, but indeed, for casting Ms Knightley in the role of Elizabeth Bennett. They both played the same character because they look so much alike, and their own mothers would get confused when they were in costume/make up. I was one of the people at the theater the day Phantom Menace was released and had no idea Keira Knightley was in that movie until the year 2020. I always thought Natalie Portman played the part in the Queen's costume and in disguise. They're 2 of my favorite actresses and didn't realize how much they look alike until seeing photos side by side.
No hate to the actress who played Jane, but Keira Knightley is gorgeous and undoubtedly the prettiest of all the sisters. And like Elizabeth she is witty as well.

She has the right kind of beauty for the role because her face has a lot of character and refinement. I only think the casting for Jane could have been better, because she is always described as an obviously handsome, classic beauty and I don't think that comes across with the actress they chose, especially when you compare the two.
