I don't think he's made a top 10 video during all of 2016, let alone number 1. He got first place because he did a series of quick, excellent frags which won his team the grand finals. It's not the most impressive from the average spectator's perspective, but it was a very skillful play and it decided one of the biggest TF2 games of all time.

Like Yomps' revolver drop on Raymon, the drop on Cookiejake by Alle and Starkie, Bl4nk's 4k against 20b, Bdonski's sticky trap getting 3 of JT, Corsa's almost 3k as spy against 7, Nursey's surf and frag on AMS, Paddie's 3k (5 w/ Freestate) against 7 on Gully, Alle's blind det dropping Nursey. Above all, Highfive's flank and 3k against JT. I thought that would be No. 1...
I don't think people understand why b4nny was #1. it's not because he's b4nny, it's because he was integral to giving him team mass advantage in the finals. Realistically, just because Starkie got that play, it doesn't make much difference if Froyo recovered. It's not about the play, it's about how much it impacts a win.
Enj oh and he was 1. because its not about how many kills you get or how difficult it was to get those frags, its mostly about how much impact the play had. Those 3 stabs didn't do too much in the end, froyo still won. B4nnys Play won them the round.

b4nny got 1st out of respect for having played at the top ofnthe game consistently for nearly 10 year with next to no recognition of his incredible ability. so while this particular clip maybe wasnt the best overall he really deserves it
It kinda seems like #9 was included just to get the variety of including an engineer play, but the only reason that Rando ran engineer to mid was that that match was already getting totally thrown by both sides at that point since it was such an uneven matchup (3rd place team vs dead last). Idk it just seems weird to include a play from a throw match *just* to feature engi when there was so much impressive stuff from serious matches.
bannys play didnt even win them the round cause while he was mongoing at raymon nursey got killed so it was even ubers if you're going to try to order them by game impact at least do something that won a round smh
Number 9 was more impressive than number 8. The Scout mostly did a bunch of cleanup, while the Engie did primary damage on several enemies as well as surfing a pipe into a Demo's face, all as Engineer.
Would love to see this get back to plays rather than full rounds/life - although a string of good plays in a row is cool it would be better to put a 5 or 10 second limit on each shot.
freestates distraction play in the last round of Granary in the finals deserves to be #1. he stayed alive for so long and he harassed se7en for a solid 2 minutes when there was only 230 on the clock and didnt allow them to push the whole time. Se7en had a huge chance to capture and tie the Map up. But freestates heads up play stole that from them.
so many insane plays that arent here. 4 of these plays are literally just a scout pressing w and getting a 5 killstreak over the course of an entire round, not even concentrated into one area.
I think I understand. See how these plays are EXTREMELY resembling a normal tf2 match? That’s the reason. The game doesn’t show you how truly good you are. Look at a csgo clip, just the hype. Now, you THINK you can do this. But here’s the thing: You bad. You can’t hit those sick headshots. You practice so that you can have that one play. But no. It’s not that easy you silver. You are just not a pro. But then eventually, just maybe, you can finally look like one. Edit: Just to be clear, I am in no way saying that these plays are bad. They’re just not that good as a viewer experience.
