And what I’ve never heard anyone say is that this song has elements of country. And it should be sung with a twang. And she does this most perfectly. Her style exudes Linda Ronstadt. Nice voice. But this LR classic is a graveyard for would-be cover versions. Only Alice Wallace has managed it. This singer's timing/phrasing is poor. She comes in too early or lingers too long. She substitutes "no one" for "who".
