I just finished watching your D&D skit compilation. And the one that really got me was the one where the NPC waitress had to be killed off by Rob the DM just to try and move everything along
My interpretation: Rob is stating that even killing Endolyn now will not necessarily make Laethil redeemable because he has gone down his path so far already. In other words, at the mouth.
Oh, well done. I interpreted it to say that it would be easier to change Laethil's fate by dealing with Endolyn (the source) rather than Laethil himself (the mouth) But maybe I like yours better lol
Really respect the guys for not researching this online. Going back to episode 100 and 101 Robb does highlight the key bit of info, but none of them picked up on it. I think they failed an investigation check which is shame as Gregg got an 18 and it felt this is something they needed to actually approach this encounter successfully, unless robb chooses to handwave/spoon feed them some stuff
Possibility 1: Adam picked the radiant dragon because of endelyn’s aforementioned aversion to light Possibility 2: pure coincidence I must say if baradun doesn’t completely ruin endelyn’s future ability’s effectiveness on him with quicken spell in the next one we can confirm option 2.
Someone mentioned in a comment way back after the end of the volcano fight that the level 6 dragon gets 3 attacks, and you guys reploed that you eventually figure it out a few fights later. Wow what a lead time on filming!
Walking to the hag of Future without a plan is probably a really smart idea, because then you aren't shocked when you have to improvise... Although knowing this campaign, I don't think that it was in purpose... Or was it?
Well they DID have the plan to walk towards her backwards (cause for some reason they thought this might be the antidote to her ability to predict the futere), but then they forgot 😅
Man, this is a fight where Guardian of Faith seems like it could be really useful. Endolyn can possibly avoid damage by moving away from the attacker before the end of her next turn, but the Guardian of Faith is able to use movement of the enemy to attack, drastically reducing its effectiveness if I am considering the situation/context correctly.
