I just love how quickly they always go from 0- arsehole in 3 seconds flat, it always so cleverly hints at the imagined long term annoyance between them.
My favorite part is how Rowan does it every time in spite of Ben never being wrong.
I love they way they add little nods to the other arguments they've had, linking the games together like two friends who constantly play together but a totally sick of each other not "getting" the game mechanics lol
Rowan can't help it that game mechanics don't match reality. Eventually he'll be right.
Well Ben is always trying to rip off the store.
Rowan saying "Outrageous!" when Ben is controlling his character just killed me
Ben's delivery of the "look at the top of that tree - fuck!" was just perfect!
The sheer bewilderment of Rowan realizing he just spawned a horse out of his "horse pocket" is and always will be hilarious!
Later in the car Rowan says "yeah but you don't have to be so abrasive all the time", Ben immediately responds with "oh shut the fuck up Rowan" - threw me straight back to the two of them going at it over the horse pocket lmao. Love the little continuity in the jokes between skits.
It’s like his brain stopped functioning properly for a few seconds.
The "horse pocket"-skit encompasses everything good about Ben&Rowan. Also such awesome acting by the horses.
My personal favorite is the backpack one! 🫣 Hahaha his veins tho! 🤣

In the hacker-skit (around 37:00), Ben's veins are really dang pronounced. Quite some devotion to the role. Also one of the rare wholesome Ben&Rowan skits.
The cliff horse are so much beyond man's understanding as well.
And the way the horse galloped straight up the cliff 😮

"Health Potion" is still one of my favorite skits of all time on this channel lol, what a classic.
The thing I learned in the video is that Ben loves flying and shooting laser beams out of his eyes/headlights.
I always thought this would be physically impossible, but here we are, a compilation of Rowan vs. Ben. This is outrageous!

I am convinced that Rowan is a player while Ben is an NPC that has very sophisticated AI, much like what NVidia is working on. That would explain their completely different levels of common sense.

I think it’s actually the other way around. Ben is a player and knows that he is in a game so he understands the rules. However, Rowan is an inhabitant of that world and has never challenged his assumptions until he met Ben. Basically Rowan is Neo and Ben is Morpheus.
@@PekkaZoe But Double Jump, horse climbing walls, jumping off cliffs etc would be common sense in the game world and as such as an inhabitant he would understand that it just works. Meanwhile, Rowan is trying to bring in Real World common sense into it, which is why he doesn't understand how it works.
Ben knows how the game works and Rowan thinks the game works like real life

I have seen every one of these before and it was 100% worth the 41 minute 16 seconds + adverts to watch them again. One of my favourite ongoing skits made all the better for seeing Baelin so happy to get a pat at the end ❤

Ben has some skits, especially in the Bored series, that push my buttons so much that I feel like punching him if I ever have the chance. That's when I realized that is actually what makes him a really talented actor!!
The reason why these skits are so lovable is that the dialogs are realistic and believable. Like, what your reaction would be if someone tells you a bizzare and nonsensical thing like it's completely normal and reasonable.
Yup. Especially because all Ben-player has to do is say, "It's a game, there's a button/combo for this, no button/combo to do that." But no, Ben determined to be condescending.

Finally. A worthy adversary to the LOTR trilogy. Jackson could learn a thing or two from this masterpiece of film-making.

Video game logic & truth vs Real world logic & truth. This is probably my favorite series out of them all. Difficult to find in your video history due to it not having its own name. Putting this compilation together is excellent!
The funniest skit here in my opinion is one where they are in the car. Ben's faces are hilarious here lol. I can't stop laughing with that one. And then the one with Rowan about Ben not handing a gun loaded to him was also great too. Love all the skits where they argue like an old married couple lol.

A little disappointed the song changed in the one where Rowan falls under the world and into several games though, the original song had a certain lost feeling to it that fit a little better to me.

Breaking the world to pet a dog makes sense. I wouldn't be surprised if the song change was a copyright issue. They could have also figured that the audience forgot the original Meme by now.

What I'm gathering from the compilation is that Ben knows how to exploit video games logic and rowan always needs to see it to believe it.
One is the video game charater and one is a person in real life.
