@@STONEION-nt9qb I always assumed Rowan has a mindset similar to my child when she was three. When I told her that the fly in the window was dead she asked if we could recharge it. Rowan's limited understanding extends to marriage and children, so why not to death?

A couple of months ago, I watched the entirety of Bored back to back. The evolution of the black shirt, red shirt mythos is great. If you go back to the beginning Adam wore the black shirt and Rowan wanted black because it was slimming. They traded shirts. Let that bake your noodle while re-watching the shirt saga.

Looking at this compilation...
...Rowan is SANE compared to managers at a previous job (a cinema and that was after change in management). I was given a disciplinary for suffering from food poisoning, it was classed as 'self-harming' because I ate that fast food lunch. So they make Rowan look positively understanding in comparison.

Most professional actors you've seen and admire have taken classes at some point in their life. Even the child stars who were 'discovered' and then suddenly acted in a big blockbuster film would have taken classes to help them perform in the film, and afterwards if they wanted to develop a career.
Don't knock 'fucking acting school' as if it's not worth a lot. It is.

The message behind my comment is the annoyance, that very often a particular education (like acting school) is auto-required, even though it doesn't say anything about your skills if you have it or not. Like voice acting. Many studios will instantly throw away an application, when there is no info about an acting school. Which is why you wouldn't get a job, even though in practice you are the god damn best voice actor on the planet.
And that is what VLDL shows. Especially in the creative field, passion and dedication is often worth more than a standard education. I personally have so many advanced skills in the creative field that I thought myself over decades, but I wouldn't get a job with it, because I don't have a paper, that says I went to some school.

I would say Rowan is the worst but after the amazing work he did in the horror ttrpg, I am inclined to say he is kind of OK.
It's so hard to watch these skits due to Rowan's character winding me up so. friggin. much!
To be fair, in the last one he asked one of his employees for help on a problem that he knew he couldn't handle on his own and attempted to apply such advice in a real situation. Though not perfectly implemented it was successful plus he thanked the employee afterwards, not bad.
I don't think Rowan is the worst manager ever. He likes to make the best and most creative decisions to help the business. If the employees were better at their jobs, he wouldn't have to give them pay cuts which they have coming for their screw ups.

Believe it or not, I had a manager in a previous job who made that stupid speech about destroying company property when I dropped a notebook while working at my desk (we were in an open space). At first, I thought it was an unfunny joke (this guy considered himself the best comedian in the world).
When I realized he was dead ass serious and started to raise his voice, I calmly picked up the notebook, lifted it as high as I could and dropped it again 😂, let out a long sigh and left to get a coffee from the coffemachine
The notebook lay dragging of the floor next to my chair for 3 days before "someone" picked it up and put it on my keyboard one morning before I arrived at work.
The guy didn't last long with the company, neither did I, the work was boring as hell and underpaid.
