Now I have seen the full video, there are few things that makes me happy but seeing someone looking at his creations and feel the pure joy, that will always bring a smile on my face!
I always enjoy when at last all the bits come together and laid out on a table, some people appreciate all your hard work and others just stamp their feet going purple shouting 'But where are my Stuka's'. Looks great Mel, be even better with a few figures on it. Nice one.
Thank you very much!
"Here be defenses." 😂 Classic!
i remember way back in like part 5 or 6 when he thought this project would have an end, and then the same thing around part 17, now here we are at part 23 and he's just "yeah, no, this project will never end, wip forever." so now im just picturing in like 45 years he's an old man who can't remember his own name and bbb part 782 is just his great grand kids trying to stop him from eating the terrain.
Crazy old jungle man!
Looks fantastic Mel. Love seeing you smiling and back in the studio
Rick B
He always does beautiful work, even when the leaves are the wrong color!
dear Mel! nice work, the table with the vegetation is very immersive and realistic! congratulations and thanks! Soon! Saluti dall’Italia 🇮🇹
SWEEEET. Peter Jackson had modular jungle built for his KING KONG SKULL ISLAND sequences.
I need to check that
Hello mate, I hope you are well. I'm commenting here because I can't work out how to dm you. I'm too old. But I wanted to say thank you for the Terrain Essentials book. I ordered it a million years ago and received it some millennia ago. I'm reading it tonight and I have to say it's brilliant. You set your heart on something, and you made it. And it's brilliant. Good show. Good for you, and I hope you are proud. It's a beautiful book, and it is bang on.
Those bushes look good Mel. I did like your new green fluffy hat.
Thanks so much
Amazing build mell your the best
My grandfather was a sergeant major who fought alongside the Chindits in WWII
I’ve always Thought this was your coolest build series .😉👍
Looking great Mel! Also happy to see a happy Mel 😊
Thank you!! 😊
Wow dude. The whole collection on the table just blew my mind. Totally awesome. Now if only that would work for Middle Earth or a judge Dredd!! 😂😂
Dear Mel, Bloody marvellous! Best Wishes Johnny
Mel, please keep pumping out those videos. Ive been lacking motivation to play, you revive my enthusiasm . And, you are Ugly.
Glad to see you smiling, Mel. Thanks for more jungle goodness.
I really like what and how you do things, I've decided to get myself that book of yours, as quite possibly might be in use in the future as a handy reference
Hope you like it mate
Looking great Mel. It's good to see you back having fun with terrain again too.
Looking great! Each new piece added to this build just keeps leveling it up!

What an absolute mad lad. Beautiful work, thanks for the upload.
😮 this looks great!! I have been here long before the BBB. And I can't wait to see where you go from here. Cheers.
Awesome, totally inspiring work. Loved the lichen hack for joins.
Thank you! 😊
Glad to see back in studio, looking good !
This looks amazing, Mel!
You're gonna need some field mortars and air support to take on this lot ;)
Awsome terrain and table! Great result!
Never though of doing precision sealing with an airbrush. Love the tips mate.
Great video, Mel. Cheers.

Stunning work Mel. Looks fantastic. Keep it up. Are you doing tracks or rivers?

Top tier terrain
Very nice!
Nice work! "Burma" Bose, have you heard ót the Burma Banshee?
Add them to the reading list, cheers mate!
Those are beautiful!! Thanks for sharing the continuing journey!! Did you mention that you were going to do some rice paddies or fields? Just wondering as I am modeling what was left of the Burma / Japanese railway in about the 60s. I am having trouble finding the right look for rice fields / paddies. Any suggestions?? And I must say that your book has been lovely and indispensable!! Picked up a couple of copies in the kickstarter and they are at the pinnacle of all of my other modeling books and references... Glad to see you are doing well, please keep it up. Can't wait to see the whole set of BBB together in one place!!
Cheers and good health to you!!!
Regards,
JBenson, USA
I do plan on making some, but not yet, my basic go to method is essentially a resin pond with grass tufts in them mate. Glad you find the book useful!
Ive been watching your channel on and off since you first began. My children enjoy watching your tutorials , as well.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and passion with us.
Looks awesome! You’ve done a great job at it. However! It would be even better if you could share with us some pictures of the terrain during a game!
Agreed!
I would like to see you and your friends playing a game on it.
this looks sooo freaking cool!! so gonna do something like this for my 40k Catachans🙃
Been following this build, like how you noticed how the specific plants accidently tagged you pieces. Well done.
Would like to ask a favor for us all, please: Could you go over the plastic plants you've used on this and other builds, please? Might make a good, quick video to see what they are an what you pulled them from or off of?
Thanks again, keep up the good work!!!
If you go back through the early Big Burma Build videos, he does just what you're asking for (a video about the plastic foliage).
@@tamsinp7711 Big thanks!!!
cheers Tam!
I love the burma build videos. I've started building a similar set of terrain and I have a question. How do you reduce the shine on the artificial plants without just fully repainting them? Are you airbrushing your base brown thinned down over them?
Would love to see a battle rep on this someday! Whats next for the bbb?
Great work as usual! For this set do you have any water hazards or quick sand ideas?
Not yet but muddy ground is on the list mate
This must be the longest lasting project I have seen until now.
When did you start this? 7 years ago?
I'm really lichen this!
;)
Crack on, Mel! :)
What are your plans after burma?
Not sure yet mate tbh
👍🙋♀️
You ever made these for 6mm?
no mate
I am the first comment! :D
You are a talent Sir. And by the way get yourself a new chair instead of that old squeaky thing your perched on.
Couldn't you have just painted and dark washed them instead of replacing everything?
it's a lot quicker to swap them out mate
