he could be a great designer, landscape designer&engineer, architect or civil engineer. he should try those professions in case he will get bored of doing modelling
@@user-ro1cs5hp5e forget being an architect or designer. Those people in universities are ass licking snobs. I have a friend who applied to a designer school and had to come with a portfolio of her to show the teachers. She drew the birth of Venus by Botticelli in a nearly 1 to 1 copy. Amazing talented person. Didnt get accepted, because her school grades were not perfect. She failed in Chemistry and French. 2 Subjects that have nothing to do with being an artist. It just shows how kafkaesque the school system has become. Actual talents are not important. Its just about "the numbers". You get sorted out by machines, but human beings with emotions.
Thanks everyone for stopping by! Been a while since the last video but all is well and we are keeping healthy in our household. I'm happy to say this project is COMPLETE!! Just putting the final video together now so things won't take nearly as long as this last one. The city is the the big feature on this thing, and I think you're going really like the end result! ;) Thanks everyone for all your support! Also, be sure to head to tabletop world to check out their amazing buildings: bit.ly/Table-Top-World
I'm like a minute in to the video and I know I'm fairly new to the channel, but I was starting to get a bit worried something happened do you dude! So, mega chuffed you're OK and to see a big video for me to have lunch and batter through! Thanks man!
This. Is. Awesome. But don't fool yourself. You will never upload videos as fast as others in this game because of... the awesomeness of your builds. Am I right? :) Let's be serious. You can't keep up with the speed you secretly try to achieve (but always fail :) if you continue to build things like... this. Look at this. It's huge. It's unbelievable detailed. Like anything else on your channel. You can try to invent a completely different format of presentation or you can just continue to build things like that. From my point of view I can wait for the next video for as long as it takes if you continue to show us how to do things like this. For the basics (and something more I can't describe right now) we have Black Magic Craft. For the really realistic techniques we have you. Thank you very much for this channel, you're a real inspiration. Love from Germany.
Sorry your life's been crazy, everyone has been going through this, but I'm glad you're ok... It's been a while since your last video, and I honestly thought about you and your family. I don't watch many dnd based channels, yours is one of my few picky choices... thanks for the update on the stable give-away and I've been so impressed and enjoyed your mega-diarama. These videos are cathartic for the viewers going through these rough times too. Glad you and your family is ok. Thanks for all you do!
10:47 I believe the true test of how immersive your landscape has become is when you take a look at how much that big red cup breaks immersion into the landscape at that moment. Truly an amazing build!
i´ve been hyped on this video since like forever, and now it´s finally on! That river thing with the vallejo paste worked out very well, really like it. So much, i will steal it :D. Keep it up, although the times are tough, they will get better!
Absolutely AMAZING work! The realism is palpable, and the imagery is stunning. However, there was one minor detail that made the hair on the back of my knees stand up, and made my forehead itch; the rope that's missing from that pulley at 19:49. Haha! Truly, you do fantastic work, and I love every second of these videos. Thanks for what you do!
Its looking amazing! The water being poured now really helps to give an idea of what the countryside scene looks like; all the nature sprouting up around it really gives a sense of light.
I'm glad I caught these videos as the project was completed- it is the first of its kind that I've watched and I am completely in awe and amazement of the detail and skill level. Right down to the smallest detail, nothing was overlooked. Outstanding! Thank you for sharing your talent!
This is shaping up to be a very special bit of work. Excellent job, I am in awe! Also, if you ever play any games on this please record one, I can only speak for myself but I am sure many of us would love to see the board in action when it's completed. Best wishes!
Thanks Tom! Yeah I’ll definitely have to do something like that and record a game. Not sure if I’d post it here or where but if I did record something I’d certainly let everyone know in the community tab.👍
Honestly I just started watching for no reason. This is not an interest of mine. But you're awesome! Your skill is really fun to watch. It's just amazing how you make these materials work together.
What a stunning build and attention to detail! I've been glued to the screen ever since I found your channel when you started this project! Amazing, good luck and please keep on doing what you love, because I love watching!
It is the most beautiful terrain I have seen. All the little details, like the flowers and the amazing trees, add so much to this piece. And when we consider the size of it, it is even more epic. btw, any idea about what the title of the song playing at 5:55 is?
Absolutely fantastic!! I love all the techniques and the tips on making the brush look realistic! I have an abandoned car lot porject coming up and all of this will be so helpful😃
This is beautiful and has been so exciting watching it grow every video. Can't wait for the finale to see the cherry on top! Again, great work on every detail. Your dedication to an authentic look needs to be applauded and truly appreciated!
Hey your back, I know things were a bit rough for you in the last video. So you had me wondering if this would go on. Well keep up the good work and hang in there.
It looks really amazing, I’ve been watching since you started this project and I’m very impressed. I’ve never played a tabletop game but I bet it’s lots of fun. You have really created a great piece. And I just noticed on this video that you have very pretty blue eyes, don’t take that the wrong way I’m just saying your eyes are beautiful.
This is the type of stuff you see in museums and such. I have no clue but I'm guessing this is in the tens of thousands; I don't think you would get an answer from him, as that information could make him lose bargaining power if he wants to sell it at some point.
Heh, well if I were to sell it I’m not sure. The unpainted buildings themselves were several thousand usd plus supplies etc. So none of that counts for labor both on the board and the painting. So yeah, I don’t even know. I just want to keep it to have here and as a nice piece for the hobby studio. :)
I have GOT to make a massive order from Diorama Presepe, I make dollhouses and they feel so much more alive with plants and vines and moss. The product you're using looks a step above everything else out there. Your diorama for your tabletop gaming looks super awesome and you and goobertown put a TON of work in to this project. I'm really glad he helped you paint, that was fun to watch.
Watching the progress taken through this build has been so amazing. It truely does look so realistic and you put so much into making it just that way. Way awesome, thanks.
So happy to know all is well and good. Not going to lie, I was starting to get a little worried. This project is absolutely stunning. I wish I had the space for something like this. Your videos are very inspiring. Maybe once I tick off a few of my ongoing projects I can tackle something like this on a smaller scale. I would love to have something like as a backdrop for my DnD game.
Hey Mike, thanks a lot for the concern. Much appreciated. :) You can absolutely make something on a smaller scale! I'd encourage you to have at it and take your time with it. Very satisfying stuff. :)
Don't worry for taking your time with a video or project. Getting to good results always takes its fair share of time, especially in unusual times like these. And the result of this project is just absolutely stunning. So no worries, it was absolutely worth the waiting time :)
This is amazing! I've been watching since you first started this project, and it is so inspiring to see how far its come! I've just started to dip my feet into the terrain making world, so having your videos as a reference is an amazing help. Keep up the amazing work!!!
We absolutely loved watching the process of this project!! Your skill is incredible, the whole thing looks amazing! We still find is mad how realistic you get things to look on a tiny scale! Would be amazing to build a diorama with you one day! So awesome!!!!
Hey thanks guys! I would love building something with you two. That would be crazy fun.😁. Thanks, and thanks for stopping by, good to hear from you guys!
So this is getting a rerelease in an epic, every episode, full build video once finished? Maybe? It has been awesome watching this come together! Can’t wait for the finale.

Maybe a mine entrance added somewhere, a deep cavern that runs under the sewers of the keep. You are an artist, sir. Thank you for the inspiration.
In all fairness the "terrible" grasses you mentioned at 15:05 could work well in a fall or winter setting, after you pulled them out they had a certain "broken stalks from a cornfield" look
This is the coolest project on the internet!! Keep up the awesome work, I can’t wait for the next installment, everything is looking like a dream come true!
Yesssssssss!!! You could have had a career arranging flowers, this is gorgeous!
🤣🤣🤣
Thanks Brent!
he could be a great designer, landscape designer&engineer, architect or civil engineer. he should try those professions in case he will get bored of doing modelling
Watching the two of you work in the collab video, anyone would think you'd done it a hundred times before. Excellent artistry, gentlemen.

This is amazing, pure and simple.
Glad to know you're all well! The TTW buildings are excellent, but your table is amazing!

Wow!!! The trees and water and muddy streets!!! It’s film scene quality!

Haha, that's great. Thank you very much! :)
And the "undermining" that the river naturally does to banks looks incredible!
You pulled a masterpiece out of that silent stretch. Awesome, Neil. Simply awesome. Looking forward to the city one. Stay safe. Positive vibes.
That's a EASY $5000 game board! Weta ain't got crap on you brother 👍🤟
This is beautiful I would love to play DND on that. i dont even know how to play it.
it's a lot easier than most modern video games
Absolut perfect!
The houses at the bridge reminds me at the old Robin Hood PC Games ..... The graphic and look of the buildings was absolut great!!
i´ve been hyped on this video since like forever, and now it´s finally on!
That river thing with the vallejo paste worked out very well, really like it. So much, i will steal it :D.

this reminds me so much of the terrain displays Lego used to put their Castle sets on for Posters and TV Ads. LOVE IT man. THank you!
What a stunning build and attention to detail!
I've been glued to the screen ever since I found your channel when you started this project! Amazing, good luck and please keep on doing what you love, because I love watching!
Thanks man, very much appreciate the kind words. :)
Utterly amazing... Great work Neal...have enjoyed the process and progress.
I knew this was going to look amazing but it still blew my mind, amazing work!
That is absolutely gorgeous! I'm blown away
Beautiful craftsmanship
I found your channel today and now I am obsessed with this. I love it, I could just have this on my table to look at.
Neil you are the king of scope. What a piece. Thank you so much.
Thanks man.🙂
Cat get over how amazing this board is you are so talented and it's so inspirational
Fantastic. Aside from actual gaming, it's the perfect place for all your mini's to hang out when not adventuring!
Yeah totally.🙂
I'm not into this, nor tabletop games using this. But...
I really enjoyed this, so talented and charismatic artist. So impressed by the final product!
It is the most beautiful terrain I have seen. All the little details, like the flowers and the amazing trees, add so much to this piece. And when we consider the size of it, it is even more epic.

oh Neil, I love it soooo much - all the effort and all the focus on details - just great, thx
I didn't think I'd find anyone on the same level as Nerdforge. Her Diagon Alley project was so impressive, but so is yours!
Good job finishing Neal! I love Diorama Presepe products!
Thanks man, and yes, they're incredible!
Fantastic as usual! So many good techniques in here.
Thanks Eric!! Appreciate it man. :)
I did something like this for my toy cars about a decade ago. I'd like to do another one and you're really inspiring me.
Absolutely fantastic!! I love all the techniques and the tips on making the brush look realistic! I have an abandoned car lot porject coming up and all of this will be so helpful😃
Thanks. :) Good luck with your car lot! Sounds like a cool project, I'll be keeping my eye out for it!

Thanks so much Elizabeth.🙂
I have found this channel yesterday, and damn, what a gem! I now want to start painting minifigs and minibuildings and build terrains lol
That is some ultra realistic terrain. I am mind blown at how accurate to detail it all is.
Thanks very much.🙂
Excellent attention to detail dude... referencing nature as much as possible ftw!
YES I've been waiting for this!!
Absolutely Gorgeous Neil !!!! Well done !
Thanks man!
Incredible. 19/10. Nailed it. Wow.
Sin entender ingles, me estás ayudando mucho a subir mis conocimientos. Gracias por tus vídeos. Un saludo
I am speechless. You sir are truly gifted. I can only wish I could create something as amazing as this but unfortunately I lack the talent.
Yet again you have astounded me with your skills, absolutely fantastic work. Congratulations and I can’t wait to see the whole board complete. 😃👍🏼
Thank you sir!☺️
Absolutely amazing, fantastic looking set. It's a high bar you've set.
Wow, it's crazy good. You really made it look like a real thing. I love it.
Thanks!😊😊
man i really think your pushing me to try something bigger. I look at this table every now and then and just really want my own
Hey your back, I know things were a bit rough for you in the last video. So you had me wondering if this would go on. Well keep up the good work and hang in there.
Hey, thanks for the concern. Yeah dropped off at a bad time but all is well. Thanks and take care yourself out there. :)

Gracias por tus videos, bro the Best!!
Imagine playing dnd on this table, having like a big defending battle against a dragon and its invading army. You truly are inspiring.
Neil - This project is looking great. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Joe🙂
I love this type of scenarios!
Amazing! I'd love to play on this! sending love and admiration from NS!

For the agricultural scenery, could you figure out vineyards or orchards? You're definitely doing an awesome job!
I love it! Looks perfect for tabletop rpg gaming!
Piece after piece this giant puzzle comes to life, great job! 👍
Thanks!🙂
This is so amazing.. words honestly can not describe it.. Great job!
I want to live there! Thank you so much for making this beautiful project. I will donate
So happy to know all is well and good. Not going to lie, I was starting to get a little worried.

Hi RTH. It has become gigantic. Always great to watch your videos. Greetings Tino
Amazing, spread out there looks like fewer buildings [yeah I know try to paint them all] really really great !!!
It's freaking awesome that project turned out incredible 👍
Thanks man😊
So this is getting a rerelease in an epic, every episode, full build video once finished? Maybe?
It has been awesome watching this come together! Can’t wait for the finale.
That might be an idea!
This looks amazing. I would really like to see how you made the wind mill. Awesome video 👍
The windmill is one of the resin building kits he got from Tabletop World.
Watching you guys take on this project inspired me to paint a large batch of Napoleonic infantry and cavalry, So far 124 completed in 10 weeks.
Nice man, well done! That's no slouch. I'd be proud for getting all of that accomplished!
absolutely amazing work... great minds behind it, love it. keep up man
A windmill needs to be high up? Tell that to the Netherlands. It just needs to be in the open so that the wind can hit it.
I'd forgotten that I subscribed to this channel, what a great surprise, I'm so glad I did, do not want miss this project, it's so cool.
Haha thanks! Well now i know too. I thought it was in a good spot! Thanks, and stay tuned for the next instalment!🙂
Just finished... **Insert Mind Blown GIF** **Make the air horn noise** Mate, that's stunning! Amazing stuff!
PS - Windmills don't need to "be really high up" and the people saying that clearly have never been to Holland. ;)

Or will you format them as a square? I wish you success
Thank you! However the city has been finished. I think you’re going to like it😊
I love how is coming out so far.
I am in AWE! When can I move there. I'd even live under the bridge. I think it has infinite re-playability as a game board. For D&D you could have adventures start in several places. Maybe a mine entrance added somewhere, a deep cavern that runs under the sewers of the keep. You are an artist, sir. Thank you for the inspiration.
Thanks very much and I think you are right there on replayability.🙂
You are incredible excelent work and imagination
Was really hoping to see the gaming aspect of this. But still cool as a display.
Neil!!!! THIS IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! love watching these videos!
Thanks man!!! Great channel you have over there🙂.
@@RealTerrainHobbies thanks man =) its all about the fun lol your channel is pretty awesome too man
If your ever looking for inspiration theirs an awesome castle that use to protect the land near where I live called Warwick castle it’s huge
Awesome work. Looks fantastic. Some great techniques that I will be using on some small projects.
This is awesome! You do fantastic work. Congrats!
I've never played dnd, but if it's as exciting as this build, I really wanna try!
In all fairness the "terrible" grasses you mentioned at 15:05 could work well in a fall or winter setting, after you pulled them out they had a certain "broken stalks from a cornfield" look
Yeah true enough. I guess the biggest problem was the color. It was an autumn look on a summer board
Wonderful done, with a the real elements in it. AWESOME. THX for showing this!
Beautiful
This is the coolest project on the internet!! Keep up the awesome work, I can’t wait for the next installment, everything is looking like a dream come true!
Thanks man, much appreciated! And will do! :)
Well this one could be really useful for D&D or other RPG games! Final result is blooooooodygreat!
Thanks man!!!
This is awesome. It looks like you have gone up a level if thats possible. Love your work. Keep it coming
Thanks Craig!🙂
This board looks so good! Can’t wait to see it finished

You are doing magic to make a magical world you wizard, wondrous! :D
