Thank you for posting this! One thing to mention, it seems like there's no need to dissolve solution separately, just dump it into tank of water, mix it until dissolved and your done. (Cuz u still need to fill up that water tank, so whats the point of mixing it separately in 1l of water

The trick to doing descaling properly is to lift the steam wand before trying to access the 2 valve screws instead of having the wand lowered and getting in the way of your screwdriver
Lol.. was thinking the same thing...
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Thank you very much!!!!!!!!
to those having issues with it saying heating and stuck and cant go forward, just know this is a very very common problem thats hardly discussed. happened to me too and i had to do the tip trick and eventually got enough water into the boilers for it to have something to actually heat and then it primed itself and worked. some things im gonna do differently next time is clean out the water reservoir with soap and water prior to starting so you dont have to do it during the process. my issue was some of these tasks took too long to do and it somewhat ended the cleaning cycle and messed itself up so be prepared with everything and do the little things ahead of time. clean out the reservoir, change any filters, clean out the drip tray, have a large amount of the water you wanna use in a jug ready to be poured back in and things like that before beginning and try to be quick between steps. Hopefully that will save me from having it happen again.
Thanks for the video!
Great demo😊
Thank you! 🤗
If you are using the powder descaling package, you will see something like a 28g to 1L water mix ratio (Urnex Dezcal for example). this concentration is mostly for drip coffee makers which pass the solution through quickly. as the Oracle instructions state, you will add this solution to the tank and add another 1.5L of water for 2.5 L total to bring the tank to the max level, or just add one package to the full tank. The descaling process uses more than one liter of water. The oracle lets the solution sit on the components unlike the drip coffee maker. the lower concentration works just fine. there's no need to add 2-3 packages of the powder to tank per the package instructions. doing so may have negative consequences.
Nice info. I received both a liquid descaler and 2 sachets when I purchased the machine. Is one ‘better’ than the other ?
We use reverse osmosis water from our well in our machine. It doesn't seem to have affected the machine. How does the lack of minerals affect the espresso produced? I ran the first descale on my machine this week, since purchase in July 2021. The machine hasn't asked to be descaled in all that time and I wasn't prompted to do this, but felt after a year of use it probably needed a descale. The machine has performed perfectly in all that time even without. Might the lack of prompt be because of the level of usage/ water we are using? We make 2-4 coffees in this every single day. I do also use Sage water filters in the machine to buffer the water that's been through osmosis.
RO from well water usually does.not eliminate all the minerals that cause scale. I am surprised you have not had to descale..taste difference should not be noticeable at all. But I do recommend descaling regularly even with RO.
I also have the same problem. After scaling, the temperature can't go up. It's always heating,What should I do?
Rinse the Coffee boiler, and Steam tank.
Remove all loose parts from the machine (Watertank, driptray, beanholder, tooltray)
Tilt the product, and shake it.
This for to rinse sensors inside the coffee boiler, and steamtank.
which solenoid?
my machine keeps saying "heating" since I did the first process and added the descaling stuff. Can't continue
How’d you get past this? Having the same problem
@@RajibBAhmed I had to send it back for repair. Bummer
same - can t continue 3rde time ... I am calling technical support tomorrow - I will have to send it back again
I remember reading in the forums that this is caused by an airlock in the system. There is a simple way to get rid of the air as I recall - think you have to tip the machine on it's side or something.
But looks like an engineering default… how a 3k$ machine can be in default after following a documented process. If that was a car a recall of all of them will be done
When do u know when u need to descale on oracle touch?
The machine will notify you :)
@@ecscoffeeincthank u
The machine should cool down first before you descal
I'm confused... The machine literally doesn't allow you to proceed with the very first step of the descaling until it's heated up(?)
HELLO, CAN YOU SELECT A ANOTHER LENGUAGE, LIKE SPANISH?
You can change the language :)
On our third Oracle Touch. What a POS. $3000 joke. Jokes on me for being so stupid to spend that type of money on this Made In China junk. Will see if this one lasts. 2nd one sounded like it was trying to catch on fire!.
Wow, ours starts to make weird sound also, like when u hit brew button, it makes prolonged, high pitch sound that sounds like electrical issue, were out of warranty
ours has been going for 3 years. no problem.
