I would love Tamala to have a 'store' where we can buy potions, creams etc - and recipes to make our own. Maybe we can have a whole new skill to learn in alchemy or something. She has a cauldron - can we have a cauldron? It's a great game. Bring on the Elderwoods.
I’ve only been playing about 2 weeks and have noticed herb descriptions and other things say they are used for creating medicines and potions. Was hoping that was something we can do but I’m guessing not? :/ maybe eventually!

my other hope is that Sifuu becomes a 'Monster Hunting' type guild. I know Palia's laid back, but one of my fave things about stardew is getting to go caving and fighting monsters, collecting resources and the like.
I want a cave that I can dive in to. it can be random, and eveyr 5 floors we get to loot a chest for unique cave themed rewards. Crystal furniture? idk, sounds neat. She'd be a great choice of guild leader for monster hunting/cave diving. :)

I'd like to see some cave specific creatures to catch besides fish, like bugs or even bats. I don't expect they would add another animal, but a rare cave bug would be cool.
You mentioned wanting mystery.. Bahari City has a serial killer, according to Kenyatta. My ideal would be that they drop the two new zones as a package deal--Bahari City and Elderwoods. Basically, Witcher 3, but Paliafied. In the Elderwoods, new animals, new foraging, maybe a new skill like Apothecary/Herbalist, and maybe some form of "combat" (in an instanced zone). Meanwhile, Bahari City would be like the urban parts of Witcher 3, with a focus on mysteries, new relationships, an auction house/trade/sales system, and those dating/social sim games. Dropping both at once would mean people wouldn't all swarm a single new zone, and people would have options.
Fixing the docks would be fantastic for traveling merchants. I can imagine a shady art dealer with a fondness for Kitsuu showing up.
EDIT: also how about using it as a fast travel in between areas that are much further away in the future?

Harvest meadows may be a fun place to visit if you get to take part in the harvest contest that delailas always talks about.
Increase the storage and gold cap. If you have played for any time it is not hard to hit caps. Especially storage.
I wish to continue with the townies' stories and romances... I wonder how long will that take.
I'd be excited to see that final temple of earth, perhaps with a bunch of Galdurs decommissioned in there.

On the big bird idea, it would be cool that you have to hatch one of the eggs from the gales and you then can use it to fly from island to island. Love the dock theory too, it would be cool to be able to do a quest to have your own small fishing boat and can only catch certain fish out far, just seems like a lot of water to not be able to explore. Also on the water front, being able to swim with a breath meter so you can find goodies underwater too, maybe underwater caves to discover?
The traveling merchant ends up just selling you counterfeit paintings and other artwork 🦊😂

I don't know if this has been addressed at all before, but I have a small hunch about the Cartel. It has been mentioned by the villagers that the Grimalkin Cartel, of which Zeki's mom is a major part, is actually run by a Majiri, and one in a high place. A letter is signed with E, and I can't help but wonder if Kenyatta's cousin Eshelon, the son of the Duchess, might have his hands on some nefarious business and using his position. We already know the Duchess is a slippery snake because of what she did to her brother and whipping his title away from him, then sending him and her ex-girlfriend Eshe to run what was at the time a dying town.
I would LOVE for them to fix the docks!!

Personally, I would like to fix the docks, myself, and those broken bridges in Kilima. And the broken windmills. And build my own mine on my plot. I'd like a can of paint and a big paintbrush. I'd like to know where in the name of Cheesus Crust all the Palium has gone, and when I DO find some, how to describe where in heck it is for others...lol. Or if someone finds the flow tree grove, pinpoint on the map for everyone.
I want to see the docks (and other crumbling infrastructure) be repaired by community crafting projects. Players can contribute resources and possibly perform quests or tasks and the end result would be permanent improvements and changes to the world.

What i would like in palia in the future, animal ranch at base, more housing option (2nd floor maybe), hostile mobs (ex: the wolf attacks you instead of running away & if it hits you its takes away a large chunk of the food meter) we already have bows how about close combat like swords or fist style combat, add some runes attack magic as well, i can go on but the holy grail that we need is more fencing options im already tired of the wood one
If one ever finishes the Temple of Gales, there's a new fence option (allegedly?), but I wouldn't know, only (mostly) streamers and YT content creators have accessed it, because ...reasons. Apparently it exists. Maybe I dreamed it....

@aria4507 If you're talking about combat, then this game won't go that far, palia is a better looking rune factory like online multiplayer game without combat or animal ranch, palia has potential to be a balance between combat and farming if done right, the game as of now has no level cap the problem with this is there is no incentive to level up, by level ten you can have the best equipment you can have and there is no effect for having a higher level, like having higher chances of getting rear material when mining, one shot kill when hunting, or able to place crops in any order and still get star crops or higher quantity, you can't even sell furniture to the game or to other players, the community in palia are only scouts for rare materials wich at one point you have a limit on how much you can have in storage, it is a farming game but still limits me to 9 plots for farming, 32 limit on refiners and 15 limit on how many rooms I can attach to the entrance of my base, if this game in time will make me stronger by leveling up it needs to introduce stronger mobs, higher quality resources, combat can be optional only if they introduce trade between players but combat is a most to create a community in this game, the players in this game are humans and humans need conflict or problems to come together and thrive, the best path for this game is some players create adventure teams that go hunt and fight big strong creatures for resources and others create teams of farming high-quality crops or animal resources that can be traded
@@jrosario0126 Interesting. Just about all my crops, when harvested, are starred. I'm level 100 farming. Most meals I cook are starred. Not all and that's fine by me, and I'm in the late 60's range for cooking. If people want dungeons, mobs and combat, aren't there, seriously, (conservatively) about 2,569 games already out there doing that? Why turn Palia into something that's already been done a zillion times? I won't mention other games by name, but there's quite a few big names already operating in the market. "We come to a cozy game and now want it just like all other others" seems a little weird to me.
@Kayenne54 I picked the farming out of my head as an example, but after looking into it, it seems only farming from all skills has a boost when leveling up, but it doesn't take away the point that mostly all growth in the game ends at level 10, next why turn a cozy game to something else point, what I was trying to say is the freedom to have options, I place several ideas on how to make it better not by removing what is had but to add on top to give the player options, you may be one of the rare people that want to just gather material and farm all day but not just me believe palia would likely take a rune factory style of play but as an mmorpg, I like the world palia and I see a potential to balance both cozy style & combat
That outside of Kilima adventure zones answer has been a post I have been showing people on discord ever since it was posted well before beta was announced - and I am eagerly awaiting their weather system.
That door in bahari has always been there. There is also a closed off area in north west bahari border. Which I suspect is the connection leading to bahari town if the doorway isn’t
I wish theyd expand the mines and give us actual mines. They kinda expanded the mines with the last update but whenever i go in there theres nothing to mine so like whats the point.

Shout out to Cheezus Crust. LOL I want musical instruments. We could get together to play in Zeki's Underground. I would love to see another area like Bahari Bay opened up for exploration. I love to run around and find new things and add to the Lore of Palia. I would not like to see combat and harm coming to our characters, it is a cozy game after all.

Temple of Gail's needs to be fixed. It's been months. I can't continue main story and it's driving me mad.
The good news is that there isn’t anything after that apart from finding crates with stones in and collecting some items for the bundles. The bundle stuff you can do now (apart from the crates I think) using the info on the wiki.

I'd like to see the game setting overall be a bit more interactive. For example, when you go into someone's room, there's *maybe* a page in a book or something to read. It's not much. A lot to look at, but little to do. It would be fun if there were more items that you can grab, even in buildings. Like the occasional coin that some villager must have dropped.

Id really want a place to sell stuff in Bahari Bay not just a storage solution. I want some merchant to buy my stuff like how you can sell to Zeki’s store in Kilima Village.
What about something wild and rare, like sickness? One kind might keep your character from being able to run, or maybe your vision is blurred, of you can't do certain tasks, like furniture making, because your hands are so unsteady. You can either seek out a cure, or you can wait and the sickness will heal on its own. Seeking a cure from Chayne will be straightforward, but not instant; getting a cure from Tamala will be instant, but there might be some other effects...
Wish the switch version was as detailed as pc. Its still pretty but i never see the detail lile shrubs and flowers and grass patches. Just the harvestables. Its very plain in comparison

I'm worried if they add weather like rain the switch won't be able to handle it, it will most likely crash more often 😂 the switch version is so bad lol but I love the game either way
It's my understanding that it is more efficient timewise to add more content before spending the time fixing bugs. Once they see what happens with the content they spend the time fixing those bugs. So, for example, rather than spending an hour after each content drop they spend a couple of hours fixing way more bugs. If this makes sense.....I'm not good at explaining.
I hope theyre waiting cuz as of now i believe the game isnt finished so theyd rather wait for it to be complete then get to the bugs to get them all at once or most of them. If they fix the current bugs then when they add more content more bugs will pop up.
If it's a normal game development team, you'll have members of the team who exclusively make assets to add to the game, and others who exclusively code in function. The art and asset team will keep on doing their part, even as bugs exist.

1 thing I wish they would impliment a way to kno w what is going on in the game that doesn't make it so you have to go to their page or discord to learn about them. Not everyone knows to do that, or even thinks of doing that because most games that isn't something you have to do. i wanted to see what it would be like to do the holiday stuff without checking in and I basically missed everything.
I just want to cook without having to fight with the UI!!!! Chat reliably working too... I like the idea of traveling merchants, but I ABSOLUTELY DESPISE FOMO shit...
A trading system, where you can actually TRADE. Apprenticeship - become a blacksmith and make different types of weapons/tools different looks, uses, etc. Tailoring, mining, furniture making, etc where you use less materials or unlock exclusive looks or power-ups, but each of them can be done you're not locked into one or two choices. Public cooking! I provide the materials and people can come and cook. Other games like the Hotpot 3-match game, and the ability to play that with others without us both having to go to one single table in the same instance at a limited time of day. Flow abilities, like I mining power-up so I break the large iron node in 2 hits instead of 4, or give myself a buff so there's a higher chance of it dropping more iron or a higher chance of star stones, etc. Melee weapons!!!! Mounts! Fast travel from our home! LOOT showing up on the compass!!!! Inventory space, like double it or make it 10x more or something!
Adventure Areas, would love to see a Jungle, Desert, something on or IN the ocean where you have a sailboat or flow-engine powered boat, something IN the mountains like dwarven cities to explore, each having their own themes, tribes, all different in looks and feels.
Otherwise the only Adventure Area I care about right now is Hodari's body... I'm just sayin'...

I would like to see brewing added along with lemon trees orange trees.I would also like to see a strawberry patch available.I think another thing that could be added could be chicken coop where we can harvest chickens and pigs along with new recipes for them and can grow feed for them and a machine to turn corn into chicken and pig feed along with a smokehouse we feed wood to to smoke ham or chickens for meals.Gooeberries also a possibility along with Raspberry bushes the items could be endless gather eggs from chicken use them both for food
I want a Bahari city but only if it’s really city like and also large. I don’t want it to be a glorified village. Like the map should be as big as bahari bay and I also think there should be a pretty significant underground/sewer. I think an urban area could also be an adventure zone as well if done correctly.

It has become a COOKING GAME, oriented to FORCING PLAYERS TO GROUP in order to progess. NOT a LORE game ... everything requires COOKING!! Relaxing, NOT! TIMED COOKING or you GET CRAP ... and ALL COOKING REQUIRES GOLD STAR FOOD!! ( just to meet the new NPC )
I bought an Outfit 4 months ago ... the skirt CLIPS ... they have added 40+ COSTUMES in that 4 months, BUT CAN'T FIX THE CLIPPING ON THE SKIRT, I paid CASH for!!!
Singularity 6 is more interested in selling costumes, than in evolution of the game. Unless you love COOKING, COOKING for EVERYTHING ...and more COOKING.
I stopped playing, I'm not into Cooking, and everything requires cooking.
