I will only be hearting a bunch of tips that you guys share to help other people find them more easily! (I'll also be replying to a lot of comments too so don't feel pressured to reply back (because I know I do))

My tip: Have fun, be happy. This is a game, not a job. Don't take things too seriously. Don't optimize things too much to the point of stress.
It's been a few months, so here's some more tips:
1. Potato isn't the only crop with a watering bonus. Use cabbage in the "any" spaces for extra watering boost!
2. The compasses don't work nearly as well as your fellow players when searching for palium, flow trees, or magical creatures. Team up!
3. Make sure to check chat for flow tree Grove spottings at midnight in the game and reply "omw" so the team will wait to chop.
4. Silk thread is super hard to find unless you love bug catching. Use a lure (or ask a friend) to get more thread. Tish also sells silk from the till in the furniture shop.
5. You can't request an item that hasn't been in your inventory at least once! Find it before asking.
A couple tips (sorry if they are a bit easy):
1. Get all the treasure chests you can find (the official wiki has info on locations). Some of them need a glider to reach, but you will explore areas that are hard to get to and some free resources inside (or sometimes wallpapers or flooring). The chests can be used as decor or gifted to Tish.
2. Einar is always glad to receive shiny pebbles from you!
3. Some cooking recipes require you to fish them out or find them in the world.
4. You might find it easier to go to the blacksmith and pay to repair tools than use repair kits. The cash register there also sells things like metal bars and wooden planks.
The chests being giftable to Tish is a game changer

I didn't see it coming hit me BAD LMAO
You can get a free floor pattern by making a friend 'editor', the first time. You can change it right back to visitor. I like hitting people around noon, more running but Hassian and Auni are by the windmills, The farm family is all home, and most people are at work in the village. You can tag flow trees to get credit, even if you stand around while others chop it down later. Clear the nodes you know that will spawn palium, if you leave them, they'll stay stone. I do it as an act of kindness. Works to spawn trees also, if you clear cut an area, you'll force more flow tree to spawn. We made a half dozen spawn in one spot the other night in our instance doing this hehe. Hope everyone is having fun!
You should never let tools downgrade. It's super easy to repair them
they don't just downgrade, they become basic and you have to recraft it

Yea.. I agree. Unfortunately I was bug hunting and not paying attention... /sigh Good point it was just the first level of upgrade(copper). When I did the iron upgrade it lasted long enough to stuff my inventory so it wasn't an issue.
Yeah... made that mistake with my axe when I was clearing out my plot xd Was kinda funny to find out that it downgrades though
And your better off going to Seefu and pay a few coins to repair rather than spend a bunch of repair kits for one tool.
Id consider myself an advanced player at approximately over 80h of playtime. Even I learned something new from this video. Thanks for your effort to find the advanced tips instead of repeating the "easy to get" ones 😊

Actually, you don't need to contribute with ingredients to get a share of the food when cooking with friends, it's enough if you help out with mincing or kneading or something active in the task. I've done it before with a friend.
Even just stirring/mixing/flipping will work!
Also wasted ingredients still count as contribution, I ran a kitchen of 16 people this way.

For anyone struggling with the timing of the animation cancelling for tools you can put a reticule on in the settings and as soon as the reticule shows up click again :) (love the map by the way thanks for showing me that been struggling with the fairy mantis for 2 days now, should help me a great deal :D)
So one thing for the self sufficient farm, if you have two of the same crops next to eachother they will not give their crop bonus to eachother. So in order to have an always watered farm would be to go potato-tomato-potato instead of potato-tomato-tomato.
This way you only water once and forget about it until it is time to harvest.

You can place down 8 additional chests on your second slot (plot of land) and they will count towards the overall storage space. Switch back to your default slot after placing them and enjoy the additional cheap storage space
Very True! Though it is not confirmed if this was an intended feature (and I'm guessing it's not since the max storage you can have is 10k which can be easily surpassed by doing this) so be careful using this, BUT it's still worth the risk in my opinion haha
they fixed this with the patch last night.
Indeed, that one seems to be not intended, there was miscommunication with some of the palia partners where they were told it was intended when it was not. So they removed that from the game

I do mining while on the trek to her place, since there's a ton of ore spawns all the way up, with 2 Palium spawns inside the Flooded Fortress. Add in some fishing at the spots to the east, and the trip ends with my carry in overflow. :D

Putting cake in a glow warm farm makes more gold it works best with all apple jam cakes but it truly doesn't matter cause your still making more off the fertilizer and worms than you would off the cake

Something unique anout this game for me is that I know everyone. I know all of the names and faces of these characters! 😂 I usually dont even care.

Also when you press your H Key while in your plot, at the top you can see there are multiple save slots for different plot ideas you can have! The reason I'm stating this is because you can put more chests in these plots past the 8 chest limit to have more storage, BUT it is not confirmed whether this is a glitch or not since your max storage will be capped at 10,000 no matter how many chests you place so do so with caution, I'll update this if anything changes.
I heard it was not intended behaviour so be careful! (says the one that still not buying 100k iron upgrade)

2:55 a minor correction: your axe will downgrade, not break. You only will have to craft the current tier again, not start over from scratch!
Edit: I've been told that this is wrong, I'm too vigilant to ever let the durability get to 0, so who knows now xD (will remove the edit if I confirm one way or another)
Can confirm, it's a downgrade. You will never be without your tools, but if you don't repair regularly, you'll end up down a tier and have to upgrade it all over again.

while picking up an object on the ground jump at the same time (while running) to avoid the animation so in order to cancel it just Press "F" while "Spacebar". I am sure you are gonna figure it out.

The best time to go after Tamala is between 7pm and midnight. She is the furthest South, near the Ancient Aqueduct, during these hours. You can get Tau, Najuma, and Hodari along the way.

Great tips, I've played this game for 1 week and used pretty much all of those methods, really improves efficiency. Unfortunetly it wasn't the game for me as after you are done with the villagers quests and achievements all there is to do is build your house, also the game itself doesn't feel very alive. Suprisingly it's been like this since Alpha so I wonder what roadmap they have for it to make it better.
Does applies and blueberries really give more money though? If you count in growing speed?

Didn't know how the Lucky coin give worked, but I did manage to get a Blue berry bush on my second try. I don't find it all that great though. It takes up four squares so it's profit is not as great as it seems. I am hoping apple trees don't need to be planted on the farm tiles. Anyway, thanks for the info.
Edit: On my third luck coin, I got the apple tree seed. Sadly it does only go in the garden, and it takes up a full 9 squares.

I am kinda confuse about some of the tips, it seems like you want to tryhard on a cozy farm game, the point of this kind of game is to relax and play it with no rush right?
everyone plays games differently, its advertised as a cozy mmo. Cozy games ppl relax and play slow, most MMO's are built to tryhard and min max everything. So this game has both aspects for different players. :)
I love relaxing in this game! But I do tend to min-max in a lot of aspects in my life and games are no different. Most of the tips I shared are related to saving time and a lot of heart-ache, but once you do them enough they'll become second nature meaning I can both min-max and relax at the same time, the best of both worlds :)
I enjoy games by completing archievements and finishing it "100%", that is relaxing to me and offers me satisfaction. So that's why I love to also min/max. 😊
@OWDanobi You mention at 1:40 that a lucky coin is basically a free $10,000. Can you elaborate on that? I've never used a lucky coin and received anything anywhere even close to being worth that much. I feel like when it comes to making money I'm doing something really wrong.
Well if I remember correctly, a lucky coin costs $10,000 to buy so when I stated that it's a free $10,000 I meant that you get the $10,000 Item for free, sadly selling it to make money is pointless but hey, it's a free item :)
Wish they had trading in Palia or that you can mail ithems to each other, I mean in final fantasy amd minecraft you can trade and give ithems so easy, would be nice if palia had it to.

Legitimate question - As a content creator how do you justify spending so much time on making a video that is for a game in beta that will absolutely be updated thus making a large part of info contained in your video wrong?

Great question! A lot of people have different answers to this type of question, but for me, I of course do videos for views but the second purpose of me making videos is to share my experience with everyone. As cringy as that sounds, when I find something sick in a game, do something amazing, find game-changing strategies, or even experience something first-hand for the first time, I just wanna share that experience. I know most of the tips in this video will not be viable in the future but when that happens I can just make another video if I wanna. Almost any video will become irrelevant someday anyway so that shouldn't be a reason for me not to make what I want :)
I'm basically a nobody on UA-cam so my mindset may not be of any use, but I hope my answer was at least of some satisfaction lmao

I meant since the coin costs 10,000 then it's like saving 10,000 instead of buying it, which at the time besides the mail, the only way to get it was through buying it yk, I don't know about nowadays since I haven't played the game since but that was my thought process since I wanted more coins cause of the things I could get, so instead of buying it I'd just consistently do the mail to save money
