Sephiroth Is A Pained Paragon

- This is a villain video tribute depicting the various scenes of an interesting classic villain from my memories, the fallen hero and supersoldier turned mad messiah, Sephiroth (voiced by Greg Newbern) from the Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core prequel videogame. There has not been many or any videos truly detailing Sephiroth's fall from grace into madness, and I wanted to express how a great heroic figure can be driven over the edge into evil when faced with horror and hopelessness. Hope you enjoy it!

"I've thought of a wonderful present for you.
...Shall I give you despair?"
Honestly Genesis was so heavy handed in telling Sephiroth his origin story, really sucks. The Envy Genesis had for Sephiroth and his own self Loathing attitude is what caused Sephiroth to snap imo. Sephiroth had a small window to be salvaged and Genesis stole it because he knew he himself was going to die anyway.
Very tragic the way the Sociopath Genesis wanted to be this "Hero". If he couldn't be #1 no one was. Sephiroth was Noble before the blunt psychological trama he suffered.
You can see in the incubator room that Sephiroth was cowering like a afraid child that longed for his mom who actually unbeknownst to him was actually human in that moment. What a disgustingly low thing Genesis did to Sephiroth out of "petty" resentfulness.
At that moment Sephiroth did not deserve that. After being psychologically destroyed he ended up losing himself in a confusion of pure rage and sadness that caused a further decline of his emotional and psychological state thus losing control. He went on to be the psychopath he thought he was bred to be and in the aftermath he couldnt live with himself after having slaughtered those innocence in such a pitifully confused state of confusion, very tragic. His only rationale was to purport himself as a God as a last ditch to save his own existence, rather the purpose of it outright.
He in the end ended up clinging onto life as did Genesis toward the end of his which was imo Genesises intention all along rather the affect to lower Sephiroths self image self respect, and self-esteem.
Sephiroths homicidal rampage was brought on by immense grief suffered in a short amount of time causing a man who had been previously a noble Man who was un wittingly manipulated since birth to basicly crack then snap.
Genesis and his poetry..... he felt the perfect end for all if it was tragedy in the end.
Yes Hojo is a filthy trash imo Genesis really adopted that sociopathic nature from his surrogate creator. Sephiroths resolve was to basicly end it all one way or another after his mental degradation, the life stream ended up having the unintended effect of giving him pseudo inmortality which in a way is a torment for Sephiroth due to that not being how he originally resolved to see out his existence after the revelations of his orgin.
Sephiroth was afraid to die as most living creatures have this. However he wanted to die due to him not wanting to be the monster that was the opposite of what he had envisioned for his self as a kid. Its really quite sad when you put into context that all that Sephiroth wanted was to be one of the guys and to be loved and excepted ,he projects his need to be understood all throughout ff7.
In the end Sephiroth resolved himself as being the destroyer of the planet due to his connection with Jenova. However I dont think he wanted to be a Diety or space monster but just a regular soul, he sadly couldnt see himself as a regular person anymore once Genesis brought down the hammer and broke him. Sephiroth loved them all before his fall from grace.
There's a line from Bojack Horseman that I think sums it up.
"This is all I am and all I'll ever be."
@@dk2k1 Yeah, thanks for the reply. Have you played the remake?
@@darealliljable
You're welcome.
And no, I haven't played it, but my brother-in-law has and I've read up on it.
If you haven't, let's just say that Seph is VERY important to the remake.
@@dk2k1 I have it and completed it.

Who knows what will happen now? Or what Sephiroth even wants?
By the way, I already tried to upload Randy Cunningham's Sorcerer, but it was blocked. Sorry, folks.
Upload to Vimeo?
You should just stay on vimeo. Less restrictive unlike UA-cam
@@Flintkarnage That's the plan but I wanted to at least upload what little I can here first for those who don't have a Vimeo account.
I will... Never be a memory.
Sad because thats post mind fuck courtesy of Genesis.
Injustice 2 Superman
Sephiroth being nice still strikes me as odd
He was until he got delusional about who he really was and got into a hissy fit.
@@cameronjr8 It's not easy finding out you're a lab experiment supposedly made from a dead race to serve a corrupt company of greedy sociopaths as a weapon of combat and likely to mutate into a monster one day. Too much for his fragile mind to tolerate after losing his friends.
@@EmptyMan000 Good news! Crisis Core Reunion is coming up this year! However, most of the English cast are replaced by new actors.
Stay where you belong in my memories.

You know, this is a good account.
Sephiroth cares.

Since you covered Sephiroth, will you make a video for Kefka?
I could try but he'd be difficult. I mean if I collected all the scenes from a revamped FFVI it would just be people reading for the whole video. Dissidia might be fine though. I have a video for it but it looks poor because of limited video quality material.
Ok. Cool.
Could you make a video about Kane from the Command and Conquer games (all besides C&C 4 which was terrible)?
I could look into it. I'll see what he has to offer.
@@EmptyMan000 Thats all i ask. Thank you for the cool videos you upload!
Is Genesis puttin on make up or what
