Humans: Let's catch and torment them
Is the fishing sustainable as a resource or will we only be able to see these as examples in a science book of extinct species in the near future?
From what I saw on Wikipedia, it looks like they’re doing pretty good.
We don't have to kill and eat them
Why were they catching them? To eat? For science? To make your TV show? Just to be exploited in general?
Really enjoyed the whole thing until the end to find out that they were just another resource.
To eat. Firefly squids are famous as a local delicacy in Toyama Prefecture, Japan. They taste like scallops with lots of umami.
They are just directing air traffic.

They are catching the small ones, it doesn't look sustainable! That guy should have nets with bigger holes!
But they then squid with just swim through it.
Fireflies are very tranquil and I.Q. bug species I like to watch them where I live in Seoul, South Korea :)
