Spoke too soon. The blasting of the art style really bothered me. It’s insulting and you guys really need to stop expecting everything to have realistic textures/ lighting like it’s in 4K.
Fun fact: Craig t Nelson and Holly Hunter didn’t meet each other until AFTER the Incredibles came out. Brad Bird always has his actors read alone, with him playing all the other characters. It’s amazing their chemistry is as good as it is knowing this.
Main line that gets me is when Bob says he's not strong enough, making Helen think he means physically. His break down about "not strong enough to lose you again".....man
I can confirm that Wallace Shawn is a super nice guy. He played the "bad guy" in a kids movie I worked on and any time he was on set he was always super humble and willing to take the time to talk to people about the movies he had been in.
Specifically when he pointed out that the movie’s plot points don’t get pay offs like they do in Finding Nemo. In my opinion The Incredibles is the most cleverly written movie in the Pixar catalogue.

In 2004 the Incredibles was very original. I think Tim’s logic that the plot points don’t pay off the way they do in Finding Nemo is crazy! Everything that happens in The Incredibles pays off perfectly. Love ya Tim, but that is a very bad take in my opinion.
