After Pixar in Review, I would definitely like to see "Spielberg in Review." There are just some films that won't get talked about otherwise, that absolutely hit it out of the park.
I think my favorite detail of the movie is the villain reveal. It's so obvious if you pay attention because the sister's name, Evelyn Deavor, when you break it down is Evil Endeavor and when I realized this it blew my mind and I was so excited to watch that true reveal of it all.
I think after Soul, they should do an extra episode re-ranking all the Toy Story movies against the Pixar list. When they ranked them before it was against each other, so now it's against the other Pixar movies so it needs a redo just for those
I think it is unfortunate that the Toy Story films were not part of the progression. I totally think the rankings would be different if it was all part of that. At the end you should do individual lists and see if the aggregate rankings line up with your list!
For the Iron Man 3 rewatch! The All Hail the King Short is On Disney plus today! Its very important to how the Iron Man 3 and SHANG-CHI...will tie in together! Watch it
This movie is entertaining but it lacked the emotional depth of the first one. I think if Pixar hadn’t moved this movie up a year because they pushed Toy Story 4 back a year, Brad Bird would have had enough time to make this a masterpiece on par with the first one. As it is, i think it was kind of rushed.
It's objectively a great movie but I'll always have a chip on my shoulder with it because Disney/Pixar didn't release the photosensitivity warning until the second weekend when people complained after opening weekend. It made me dizzy and I don't even live with epilepsy. It's just a bummer because they had cinemas warn people six months prior to this that there wasn't anything wrong with the sound in The Last Jedi during the Holdo moment but they weren't proactive on this, something that can actually negatively affect people.
I couldn’t recall a single plot point in this movie. It was a massive disappointment. Edit: I am truly shocked how high you guys are on this movie every person I’ve ever talk to said 1 was better than 2 by a large margin I literally don’t know a single person who liked incredibles 2 so it’s actually mind blowing that all of you think it’s so good.
@UCaJXhTPLWSk7WkJTnqeqbSQ First of all, saying not a single person he knew liked it could be true in his experience. Secondly, getting loads of money at the box office and/or getting critical acclaim does not mean a film is widely praised. Case in point, Transformers 1-4 and The Last Jedi.
@@agentahmed7350 lol Transformers were not critically acclaimed (plus they have low audience scores too), and The Last Jedi had a really bad audience score on RT. Having all 3 (high critics score + audience score AND box office) ABSOLUTELY means it was widely praised. Quit being so ridiculously egocentric. I’m presenting actual data, you’re just giving some anecdotal observations. You: “Well my 2 friends and I didn’t like it so clearly no one did!”
I will always kind of dislike this movie because I personally thought when it was first announced that we were going to have a time jump and have a Toy Story 3 kind of thing, where at least Jack Jack would be a teenager, Dash would be in college, and Violet might actually have a kid or her own. It's cool that it picks up right after 1, but I honestly think there are a lot of more cool story ideas we could've gotten with the family being older. Instead we just got a main plot that is VERY similar to the first movie. Oh, but it's different since Elasti-Girl takes center stage. Right. It's well-made, but I wasn't nearly as engaged with it like I was with the first movie. But maybe I shouldn't have been surprised. When they said they were going to make a Monsters Inc 2, I thought we were going to get a movie with an older Boo. Whoops! Maybe I'm just fascinated with the idea of seeing kids grow up in animated movies, but I guess only Toy Story 3 has the balls to do that.
Elise Willams did not fucking nail it..she is the epitome of the stereotype of white people not being able to keep a beat. She butchers it every time she tries to sing it Edit** Andy and Nick are right it should be number 8
Y’all got this one very wrong. Honestly a pretty bad sequel. All of the character growth from the first movie was completely reset. A fun movie, but not a good Incredibles sequel.
I loved on review, but have basically stopped listening since the pixar series. I understand why they're doing it, I just hope they can return to the good shit soon.
Frozone saving the kids right before he gets masked always gets me
I'm starting to think there needs to be a Pixar In Review: Re-Ranking Special, because it seems like all of the crew would redo the whole thing.
After Pixar in Review, I would definitely like to see "Spielberg in Review." There are just some films that won't get talked about otherwise, that absolutely hit it out of the park.
"We rented out a theater"
"Am I invited?"
No, only Greg gets to go, lmao

"People are gonna be so mad at us."
Andy, you have no idea.

why was elastigirl mad thicc tho
After 20 weeks you guys are so close to getting Michael Giacchino’s name right. Just need to learn how to say the ‘Gia’ part now 😂

Have you guys seen the short with Aunt Edna? Sooo good!
Fun as hell movie

You mean Phil LaMarr who voiced Static and Jon Stewart GL in the DCAU
Even MCU which I love won’t top Incredibles when they do Fantastic Four

Justice for Wall-E!
I'm glad y'all enjoyed it. For me, it was an incredibly (ha) disappointing sequel to a movie that I love and probably put in my top 5 of Pixar.
Just saying “dreamworks in review”
They changed math like 5 years ago

Rotten tomatoes: 93% critics and 84% audience
Box office: over a billion
You: “I dOnT kNoW a SiNgLe PeRsOn WhO liKeD iT!”

Yay they didn’t forget it!!!
Isn't Big Hero 6 a marvel studios Pixar movie? Or am I wrong about that?
Marvel characters but Disney, not Pixar
This movie is not better than The Incredibles
That list is a nightmare! 😀
We need a new ranking system lol

Tim and his movie info extras are so off sometimes.....

wheres chloe
Tim has no fucking grace or sense of timing with these ad break segways. Let Tim coast
I know you guys probably will never do it, but you need to re-rank these movies. This list is ridiculously out of wack
I was hugely disappointed by this movie in 2018 but Into the Spiderverse exceeded expectations! Can't win 'em all I guess
Y’all got this one very wrong. Honestly a pretty bad sequel. All of the character growth from the first movie was completely reset. A fun movie, but not a good Incredibles sequel.
I like to think that Incredibles are already part of the MCU & they’re just a different universe variant of the fantastic four.
I loved on review, but have basically stopped listening since the pixar series. I understand why they're doing it, I just hope they can return to the good shit soon.
i dont love this movie. it would be in the middle for me
Love you guys but these rankings are rooooooough. Incredibles 2 is far too high. “Inside Out” is too high, c’mon now. That’s nonsense.
Rent the theater and then live stream the movie from the theater but every watcher has to pay ticket price so it’s legal haha
Coco worse than Cars 2
