The Incredibles Movie Description:
The Incredibles is a 2004 American computer-animated superhero film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. Written and directed by Brad Bird, it stars the voices of Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Sarah Vowell, Spencer Fox, Jason Lee, Samuel L. Jackson, and Elizabeth Peña. Set in a retro-futuristic version of the 1960s, the film follows Bob and Helen Parr, a couple of superheroes, known as Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl, respectively, who hide their powers in accordance with a government mandate, and attempt to live a quiet suburban life with their three children. However, Bob's desire to help people draws the entire family into a confrontation with a vengeful fan-turned-foe.
Bird, who was Pixar's first outside director, developed the film as an extension of the 1960s comic books and spy films from his boyhood and personal family life. He pitched the film to Pixar after Warner Bros.' box office disappointment of his first feature, The Iron Giant (1999), and carried over much of its staff to develop The Incredibles. The animation team was tasked with animating an all-human cast, which required creating new technology to animate detailed human anatomy, clothing, and realistic skin and hair. Michael Giacchino composed the film's orchestral score.
The Incredibles debuted at the El Capitan Theatre on October 24, 2004, and was released in theaters in the United States on November 5. It earned $632 million worldwide, finishing its theatrical run as the fourth-highest-grossing film of 2004. The Incredibles received widespread acclaim from critics and audiences, with praise for its animation, screenplay, action sequences, sound design, humor, voice acting, themes, music, and appeal to different age groups, and is frequently considered to be one of the greatest superhero movies of all time. It won two Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature and Best Sound Editing with two additional nominations for Best Original Screenplay and Best Sound Mixing, as well as winning the Annie Award for Best Animated Feature. It was the first entirely animated film to win the prestigious Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation. A sequel, Incredibles 2, was released in June 2018.

Syndrome’s name is a reference to Hero Syndrome, a condition where a person creates dangerous situations so that they can play the “hero”, which is exactly what Syndrome did in the movie.
Wow. I didn't realize there was an actual name for that. In retrospect, there are actually alot of characters in alot of movies who have that condition. Even none superhero movies. 🤯
@@phantomfrivolity2169 yeah, it is very common with some first responders, so that way they can receive glory and possible promotions from being the one to help the situation they created.
I had no idea “Syndrome” was meant to be a reference to any particular syndrome!
@@phantomfrivolity2169In Nightcrawler, he uses this method with a morally ambiguous approach.
And it would have worked perfectly had he thought of the fact that the bot would realize that he is using remote to defeat it... the bot learned from that and thats why he f***ed up.
Fun fact: Each of the incredibles powers are based on their position in the family. Dad the strong protector,Mom the flexible peacemaker. Older sibling anti social and like to be invisible, younger siblings full of energy and running around and baby full of potential.
And the baby who can be anything.
Why is it whenever anybody says fun fact it is seldomly "fun" lol
Informative though i did not know that so thank you for sharing 😊
I never knew this, and for this i love you 💕
Bob = Peter Griffin
Helen = Lois Griffin
Dash = Chris Griffin
Violet = Meg Griffin
Jak Jak = Stewie Griffin
Too bad there’s no Incredibles equivalent of Brian 😂
@@coyotelong4349
Bob = Homer Simpson
Helen = Marge Simpson
Dash = Bart Simpson
Violet = Lisa Simpson
Jack Jack = Maggie Simpson
Too bad there’s no Incredibles equivalent for Santa’s Little Helper. 😂
I guess a potential Incredibles 3 should add a dog to the Parr family who posses superpowers and is called “Incredidog.” That way Brian Griffin and Santa’s Little Helper can have an Incredibles equivalent.
23:22 this scenes is still one of the most *chilling* in any animated movie I have ever seen.
The implication alone is disturbing. Syndrome basically lured all these supes to the island, playing on their desire to relive their glory days, sistematically killing them one by one while also slowly improving the Omnidroid every time its destroyed.
And the worst part is is that the plan is *clever* , since he's killing two birds with one stone. He's improving the Omnidroid for the day he inevitabely faces Mr. Incredible while also making sure that no supes show up to mess with his plan.
But, here's the thing, can you imagine how it must feel for Mr. Incredible?
Imagine learning that all your associates that you've worked with for years, all your friends that even attended your wedding are not just dead, they've been sistematically *genocided* by a villain *you* created.
And, even worse, Mr. Incredible was only invited to the island by accident. Syndrome was tracking *Frozone* , he had no idea where Mr.Incredible was because his family kept moving, so if he hadn't been with him that night that Mirage was tracking him, his best friend would have been added to the body count.
Damn those last 2 paragraphs are dark as hell.
Woah...
You know what else is sick, is that the government were tracking all of the supers. So they knew that they disappeared and did nothing to find a locate them.
I am months old to this 😼 but, respectfully, I don’t know if Frozone would’ve gone to the island. He was only going out on those nights because of Mr. Incredible, even saying himself that he wished they would just go bowling like they said they were. Now I can agree with perhaps them kidnapping and killing him. But I don’t think Frozone would’ve ever been lured to the island.
@@Comradesomethingsomethingyeah BECAUSE OF MR INCREDIBLES WEDDING, frozone and Mr incredible are best friends, frozone went to mr incredible and elastigirl’s wedding, if frozone never went there to the wedding frozone would’ve been lured to the island and syndrome would have tricked frozone into “reliving the glory days” and then syndrome would’ve used the omnidroid to kill frozone and FROZONE WOULD BE DEADY-DEAD DEAD DEAD DYING BLOODY DEATH. And then mr. Incredible would be unhappy >:)
The "no school like the old school" men are cameos from Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston, the last survivors of Disneys' ORIGINAL animation team (a group known as the "Nine Old Men.") Brad Bird studied under them and included them in this movie & The Iron Giant in tribute.
Yeah they are the train crew in Iron giant
"Go on, tell em what you saw"
"You're not gonna believe this, but it was a giant metal man"
I always thought they were the lawyer and the jumper Bob saved.
@@cpob2013I didn’t know this, and I still don’t know much about these two, but the moment Iron Giant was mentioned, my mind immediately went to the train operators. They just look so similar to the “old school” duo, and with such recognizable voices.
Thanks, I was trying to remember this fact. It like the Stan Lee cameo of the movie.
@@dgrayman87considering the time skip was 15 years I don't think the jumper would look THAT old haha! What a sweet idea though
Edna Mole's voice actor is none other than the director Brad Bird. This is my favorite Pixar movie hands down.
And the second one is great too!!!!
Apparently he was doing it as a placeholder voice and it ended up being perfect.
one of my tops
This movie is starting to make me wonder why Marvel or DC didn't think to hire Brad Bird to make a Fantastic Four or a Flash movie, as Brad manages to display properly the Parr Family's superpowers in a very unique way.
In a very realistic way
that dash scene on the water is still, to this day, one of the most exciting scenes in cinema
The way he laughed when he realized he could run on water was the icing on the cake
A special shoutout to Gazerbeam, the guy might not have been able to destroy an Omnidroid, but he manage to sneak into Syndrome's base and figure out his plan years in advance. Then he used his last moments to make sure that any future supes would know the password and figure him out too.
Actually I think he DID beat an Omnidroid. He just got called back similar to Mr. Incredible and the next model was too much. Still, he apparently got away and figured out the password, so props to him.
Wait how did we infer that tidbit where he left the password behind? I always wondered how mr incredible figures out the passcode is Kronos
@@12paganiGazerbeam carved it out?
@@12pagani In the cave, when mr incredible sees "kronos" on the wall, it's across from gazerbeam, whose powers we can safely assume have something to do with lazers or beams of a sort. It's inferred that he used his powers to carve the password into the wall before he died.
Syndrome and Mirage weren't originally after Mr incredible they were after Frozone. And if you picture Frozone in the fight with the omnidrode in the volcano you see he would've died.
Gaserbeam knew the password because the island was once a superhero base. He and his team worked there, he was the leader of the thrilling three.
That scene where Bob is looking at all the supers the omnidrode killed is so dark. These were is colleges, his friends he worked with for years. They were at his wedding he lost touch with them and finds out there all gone.
There is no water in this air 🫡💦
this makes so much sense and is such a good thing to point out, i mean i had never noticed it before when i was younger, didn’t really understand when mirage was watching them and said “the fat guy is still with him” but it was because she was never there to watch mr. incredible it was because she was watching frozone
This is honestly one of the best superhero movies ever made and it outshines so many live action ones, even the better of those films. It also was responsible for Michael Giacchino's rise as one of Hollywood's most sought-after composers (they actually hired him because he was an obscure video game composer at the time and cheaper to get than a bigger name 😂). He's done so many big movies now, is probably the only composer who is worthy to succeed John Williams (if you ever watch Rogue One you almost can't tell it's Michael's music and not John's), and his success is SO well-earned. The main theme for this movie became so iconic that I remember my high school getting ridiculously hyped over the fact that one of the bands played part of the soundtrack during a school concert lol
His Up score and The Batman scores are sensational won an Oscar for Up and should’ve won for Batman the mystery melded with what feels like the godfather is amazing
I wish I would’ve found this channel sooner this guy is funny asf 😂😂
Omg, why thank you so much!

Best reactions, great movies watched, perfect editing, great comedic commentary. Over all perfect!!! Melverse doing it all right!❤️
edna is voiced by the director brad bird he did a rough test recording to help with the animation everyone loved it so he stuck with voicing her for both movies
You know you're an adult when you think about the car insurance of the vehicles getting smashed up. 😂 This was great to rewatch with you
Don’t mind me just Casually watching Mell thirst over elastigirl for almost an hour 😭
Bro i swear bomb voyage was honestly the best villian in this movie i swear they shoulda gave him more words and actions 😂
I come here ONLY for Melos reaction to the “mirror scene”😂
The two 'old school' guys at the end of the movie are two of the Nine Old Men, the original animators at Disney. They were also teachers at the California Institute of the Arts, an art college that Walt Disney help form. Both Brad Bird, the director of The Incredibles, and John Lassiter one of the founders of Pixar went there, and those gentlemen were their professors. Brad Bird voiced Edna Mode, whose character was based on the legendary Hollywood costume designer Edith Head. And because of how much Bird was getting on their nerves during the production, the animators based Syndrome's character on him! Yeah this is among Pixar's best! And this is a SERIOUS superhero movie! Syndrome's lair is something out of an original James Bond movie! All the characters have serious heart! So cool!
The Incredibles is my absolute favorite Pixar film! This is everything that’s great about Pixar put into one movie! It’s got exciting action, likable characters, excellent villain, awesome dialogue, and a great amount of heart! Syndrome is actually a villain with a sad and understandable motivation! There isn’t a single thing I didn’t like about it. Even though they’re superheroes, they still feel like a real family.
Mine too, and it's 1 of my favorite superhero films of all time as well.
Syndrome's motivation has nothing understandable or sad, it's just petty and ridiculous
@@omarvazquez4075 Yeah, I was gonna say. Nothing about it was sad and he literally set about the events that ended the age of heroes before becoming a serial killer of said heroes. Syndrome as a person was a monster, would watch him get blended in a turbine again.
@@omarvazquez4075 I was gonna say, Syndrome is just a loony person 🤣
@omarvazquez4075 Syndrome’s has an understandable motivation in my opinion because he had a personal connection with Mr. Incredible. He was his number one fan but later on decided to get revenge on him after being shunned. It makes us understand his motivation and we can kind of see where he’s coming from.
i legit spent this entire video reciting 92% of the lines/actions of this movie-it’s legit one of my top movies as a kid and it still reigns supreme as an adult
Its oddly wholesome(?) how Syndrome wasn't even mad that Mr.Incredible/Bob managed to destroy the Omnidroid even after its been thrown against so many supes, faked his death and snuck into his island base.
He instead *gushes* about it like a little kid, probably 100% vindicated in having idolised Mr.Incredible.
My dad isn’t usually into animated or fantastical movies. He likes them live action and grounded in reality. He watched The Incredibles in the theater with us when it came out, and got sucked in. At the end of the Dash chase scene, he said, “I forgot I was watching an animated movie. That was so good.”
I find it hilarious that after this movie, literally any character hero design with a cape was scrapped cause all anyone can remember is Edna’s montage of how stupid they are, and since then it’s become fact 🤣🤣😭
This is arguably the best animated film ever produced
The Elastigirl simping was hilarious and relatable.
Personally I couldn’t care less whether it’s your first time watching a movie or you wanted to rewatch your favorite movie that you’ve seen a million times. What makes me wanna watch your vids is based on which movie it is and how much fun you’re having watching it. And Mell, you always seem to be having a blast watching these awesome movies from our childhood, so I’m gonna be down to rewatch them with you, brother.
The way you mouthed so many lines, I relate. This is childhood. we remember so much from what we've seen as youngsters or teens, great iconic pixar film! We want More!!
i found your channel through the harry potter franchise & i've been obsessed ever since! you & billy both my new favorite youtubers🥰
My fav pixar film of all time! An animated classic imo!!!! Michael Giacchino’s score goes so hard!!!!!
Edit: My Top 5 Pixar Favs
1. The Incredibles
2. Ratatouille
3. Toy Story 2
4. Toy Story
5. Wall•E
FUN (maybe not so fun) FACT! 26:37 there was a deleted scene where elastigirl wasn’t the one flying the plane and it was her friend and her friend went down with the plane but Disney thought that would be too dark
EASILY my favorite Pixar movie. The 2nd one is great too but the first just hits different
Nah the second one was mid af
@@Python-xs2iv yeah its too childish and doesnt have that serious/dark vibe to it
@@AXL664 For real. And the villain was dogshit
@@AXL664it’s also childish to disregard someone’s opinions btw
The first just hits different because it is something called Nostalgia.
If you hadn't watched a bootleg you would have seen "Jack-Jack Attack". A short that shows what happened while Jack-Jack is being babysat. Great short.
The incredibles is my favorite Pixar film ever. When I first watched it as a kid I thought it was great for the action. But now as a teenager who’s planning on becoming a director, it’s great for the action, the story, the characters, and the soundtrack. Best Pixar movie ever in my opinion.
When I started going out with my Girlfriend now Wife back in the early 2000's, she's the one that introduced me to this flick. I love this film and despise what they did in the 2nd one.
Edna's voice actor is none other than Brad Bird, the director & writer of this movie (among several others like The Iron Giant, Ratatouille, and the Incredibles 2).
39:46 I agree. All those years I was wishing The Underminer was going to be the main villain
I grew up with The Incredibles I remember going to see Incredibles 2 as an adult pushing kids and mad because they didn't grow up with this classic it's different having grown up with it than watching it after the fact it's just a different feeling. This is the best Pixar movie other than Toy Story.
I’m surprised he didn’t pull out a costume for this reaction!
Yeah I forgot. It was just so sudden
@@HelloMellowXVI I was waitin😂😂😂
1:51 damn that's perfect
Great reaction, lots of fun! When we are adults and rewatch something from our childhood, it reveals different things.
The jet's call sign, India Golf niner niner, is a reference to Iron Giant (1999). The A113 that you see in various signs in Pixar movies is a reference to a classroom in the animation school.
When you get around to James Bond, you will hear some musical similarities and see distinct parallels to this in You Only Live Twice. No spoilers.
17:53 Edna is literally voiced by the movie's director Brad Bird. I was shocked when I learned that, he does not get enough credit.
As someone who can recite my favorite movies verbatim, I loved all of this reaction ❤😂
“That was totally awesome!” Glad you got to watch it without the shadow of someone getting up for snacks across the screen.
beyond excellent film and my all time favorite from pixar. incredibly smart, endlessly exciting, infinitely rewatchable and absolutely fucking hilarious with an endless barrage of iconic scenes and characters. top tier disney right here
So glad i found this channel, since the Harry Potter movies. This man funny and fine as hell 😂🙏
Mell, I'm one of those who doesn't care if you've seen a movie before and know it. There are certain movies that I have seen thousands of times and still love them! You do you, and I'm with you, especially when it comes to The Incredibles.
30:39 Did you notice she also tried to punch Bob but he dodged it
“You didn’t save my life you ruined my death” I say that line too much haha
I enjoy it almost more watching something that you love. If its a first time watch, you could have a bad time. When its a favorite, you know you are gonna have fun and so are we.
The only reason the cops were there so quickly, is because they were helping control the scene of the fire
I literally just searched to see if you'd reacted to this movie yesterday. I'm so glad to see you rewatched it for us. It's my favorite.
Syndrome is played by Jason lee, one of the most underrated actors of all time.
All the lines in this movie are gold and easy to quote, that first 3 minutes showed how good them are
Mellow’s like bowser can’t stay away from mrs. incredibles peaches, peaches, peaches, peaches, peaches, peaches 🍑 🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'm not a Pixar guy, but this (and part 2) are my exception! I hope Disney and Pixar make more superhero films--preferably a musical (in Disney's case) and outside the BH6 and TI universes.
17:56 when these reactors ask these questions, I wish they would add a little edit showing who voices the character.
LMFAO i lost it when you said “damn he got ears?!” @ 36:33 💀
havent watch the second movie cause was worried it be not even close to first one cause this movie is perfection imo super bias btw still remember when I saw it as an kid I also remember I had the gameboy game of incredibles it was super fun aswell also litle brother the speedsters always been my fav as an litle boy myself at the time I loved it
We were having a rough year...my youngest was diagnosed with severe autism, he didn't get a Christmas bonus, I lost my job, and my birth control failed and I got pregnant, so we couldn't go to the theater. My husband bought this movie on dvd for our boys when I gave birth to my 3rd and last (my own jack-jack 😂), so this was the first movie I watched when I got home from the hospital. Lots of special memories attached to this one!
8:30 The names are even better than that. They're their powers. Dash is super fast -"dash". Violet has powers that bend light waves or "ultra-violet" lights waves. And Jack-Jack is a jack of all trades.
Dont know if you ever got to play the game but they did a PHENOMENAL job with it, the details the gameplay all exactly like the movie 😮😮
The German dub was awesome. Great casting.
Especially the guy who voices Bob's boss (Herbert Feuerstein) looked EXACTLY like that in real life. 😅 may he rest in peace....
Mellow the whole movie: 🤤🤤🤤🤤
This video game on GameCube was fire! 😂 it interjected clips from the film into the game as cut scenes. I was obsessed.
Great reaction Mello. Happy you're seeing a clearer version 😂
It’s always good to come back to certain films after some time to appreciate them in a different light.
Am so glad I got to rewatch such an iconic movie this way! I would want teleportation and telekinesis powers if I could have super abilities. Also, Mel, have you seen Over the Hedge? No one seems to remember that underrated gem and I think that should change!
Honestly this movie isn’t great for younger kids in comparison with other Pixar movies, as much of the plot and humor will go over their heads, but it is a good one
It is a good superhero film in its own right, a good superhero PARODY film, and touches on a lot of deeper issues related to family, etv
It's a crime that Brad Bird hasn't been let loose on the MCU
It’s awesome watching your inner child come out watching this movie especially considering the fact that this is my favorite Pixar movie of all time too. Wanted EVERY toy😂 and I had the games for GameCube and DSI
The Incredibles is such a goateed movie, it gets better every time I watch it. The director, Brad Bird, made the movie with the notion that you shouldn't make "kid's" movies that an adult wouldn't want to watch, because that's insulting to the kids. Easily the best Pixar movie, and the best superhero movie if you ask me.
For rewatching a movie, you were still able to provide a quality reaction. Great video!
I remember sitting as a kid watching this and the Jack Jack extras on the DVD. I get pumped full of serotonin when I see the Incredibles
If nobody has said so yet, Edna's voice actor is legit the director, Brad Bird. He apparently was trying to get a voice actress for E, and was doing that voice to try and show what he wanted (a mix of German/Japanese accents) and they all agreed he needed to voice her
also, the reason young Buddy has blonde hair while Syndrome has red, is because young Buddy dyed his hair to be blonde like Mr. Incredible. Cosplayer's gonna cosplay
Ah. I thought he dyed it orange to make it look like a flame. It made sense, him being attracted to power/fire/volcano and such.
@@orangegirl247 oh yeah that makes sense too. Honestly both ideas make sense respectively, especially for his personality at those ages
As a kid: superfan of Mr Incredible, imitating his costume, and apparently knows all of his moves, fighting style, and catchphrases (I'm actually curious about the catchphrases) so it makes sense for him to dye his red hair blonde to he like his hero
on the flipside, what you're saying, is
as an adult, he is consumed in his desire for revenge and power, and dyes his blonde hair red to A. Be further distanced from his ex-hero, and B. to resemble that of an active volcano, arguably the greatest power on the planet's surface
I remember going to see this in theaters after school one day with my mom. I don't think either one of us was expecting to be so blown away by it in every single way. We left the auditorium, called my other mom and insisted that she rush to meet us the second she was done with work, because she had to see it with her own eyes. She showed up in time for the next showing, and we saw it again immediately. I think it was one of the only movies that my parents didn't get tired of me watching on repeat once it came out on dvd. When I went to see the sequel, I reverted back to my 12 year old self in that theater again. One of the best franchises out there.
This film is an absolute masterpiece. Its not just one of Pixar's greatest films, I consider it one of the greatest superhero films of all time!
I think the characters are spectacular, especially Bob. Aside from being completely relatable, hes just so compassionate and kind. I love that even at his most selfish and lowest, he still wants to help people in some capacity. Whether it's helping others with their insurance claims, or saving people from a burning building, he's a truly heroic individual!
For real, reacting to these movies hits different when you're an adult. You really appreciate the film more. ❤
I remember watching this movie on DVD and having my mom rewind a bunch of parts because they cracked me up 😂😂😂 thanks for the blast to the past Mello
So happy I found a great youtuber to watch. You are hilarious😭
One of the funniest and craziest action comedy superhero movies ever made!
Be sure to watch INCREDIBLES 2.
I honestly wish i could go back and watch this movie for the very first time again.
I'm looking forward to the Incredibles 2 reaction😁
When I was kid I didn't know the Samuel l Jackson was frozono, pixar should give the guy his own movie
Please do the movies you like we are here for the vibe.
I saw this movie in the theater when it first came out. I was 8 years old at the time (I'm 26 now) and when Dash runs on water for the first time, my jaw literally dropped to the floor when I first saw it! I wanted nothing more than to be like him as a kid lol. I must also add that once you get older and really understand some of the subject matter (suicide attempt, midlife crisis, family drama, *mass* genocide, "cheating", etc.), this movie can become quite heavy and very realistic. Not very many animated films, or even live action films for that matter portray those real life issues as deep as the Incredibles does. That's kind of why this movie still holds up to this day. The second film is great too, but this one is an absolute classic!
The Voice 'Actress' for Edna Mode is the director, Brad Bird
Michael Giacchino’s score enhances this movie so much I’ll argue it’s my favorite superhero movie ever and it’s my number 1 Pixar movie love seeing you react to a movie you’ve seen especially having fun quoting along
They'd never made a movie quite like this before, but there IS a lot of 60's James Bond and classic Fantastic Four in there for sure, and even a little Watchmen. Except The Incredibles is funnier. Way, way funnier
The Incredibles was the first movie I ever saw in theatres. I was 4 at the time and I just cried through the whole thing my parents had to keep taking me out 🤣🤣🤣
A lotta fun rewatching this with ya, bro!
I love this movie! the 2nd one was the best. jack jack is my favorite. and ur intro is amazing! I'm glad I found u on here
This Pixar movie is one of the best . ApptIy named incredibles .I would have loved to be Elastigirl 😊. Great reaction commentary as always, And I don't understand why people only want you to react to movies you haven't seen. That must narrow your selection duh! Every time you watch a Movie you see something new and exciting . So until the next one 💜
Great reaction as usual! Love, love this movie. Also 16:31 I gotchu bro
Don't forget to see THE INCREDIBLES 2 next!
I love how even though their superhero’s their still human like yeah Mr.Incredible can stop that train but it doesn’t mean it isn’t gonna hurt he has super strength not invulnerability
Syndrome was only going to appear in the first part of the movie and a different villain was going to be used but the people approving of the movie liked him so much they changed the entire movie
Honey is actually Frozons wife’s name and not a nickname and we were originally going to see what she looked like but her design was given to a completely different character in the second movie
Have you noticed Elastic girl treats each of her children different and how they would respond better with I also like how she doesn’t sugarcoat how dangerous of a situation they are in
One of my all time favorite scenes is when Dash realizes he's running on water and just starts chuckling. That boy was like "OH HELL YEAH!!!"
I personally love seeing your reactions to movies that you have seen and not seen because it's always fun and nostalgia is always a blast, especially if it is something we all can relate too, regardless people admit that or not. I actually have the toys from McDonald's and Walmart and stickers from this film. I also have the VHS and I just recently got both films on 4K physically for their anniversaries.
Hopefully they make a third one. I never got a chance to see either in theaters. Edna is voiced by the director of these two films, Brad Bird.
This movie also released on November 5, 2004 and the second one on June 15, 2018.
One of my favorite things is that if you look at the scene where Mrs. incredible looks at herself she is sad that her bottom has gotten bigger and her hips have gotten wider. Yet you absolutely find her beautiful as do I. That really is the ideal shape and women have been taught to think that thin is better.
15:48 I feel like that's a lot like most physical skills. Like in a normal setting you might struggle sometimes physically to do certain things but when you've played a sport, skateboard, or any similar activity, your body like kicks in the ability to move like that when your doing those actions. Idk how to explain what I'm saying but I've been skateboarding since I was a kid and like I occasionally have physical slip ups in normal activity but when I'm on a skateboard I can do all these things beyond what I can normally do. If that makes any sense. I imagine that's what it's like for an aging superhero. Like his body aches but when he's in that mode, normal limitations briefly subside.
I remember when this first came out in like 2004 on a school trip if I’m not mistaken but I was blown away to the point where I was obsessed with this movie as a kid best memories ever 🤷🏻♂️🐐🔥
20:55 Kronos was the Titan King in Greek mythology who devoured his children, the Gods. Trying to get rid of those with power who could overthrow his own power like Syndrome/Buddy is trying to overthrow the superheroes with actual powers so he could play at being an actual hero.
The romans called him Saturn - there's two famous paintings of him devouring the gods.
I loved this movie when I was a kid! I had it on DVD and we used to watch all the bonus scenes and things like that
When Frozone froze the cop, that was the coolest thing!
