My honest hair growth journey: prioritize sleep, keep scalp cleanliness, shampoo less and hydrate more, get frequent trims, comb hair daily, and apply liitlllextrra Reactivate serum every day. It contains rosemary and other nourishing ingredients that consistently promote the growth of fresh baby hairs.

After using this product for less than two weeks, my lashes got objectively longer. I noticed it because of the mascara imprints under my brows (never had that issue before, using the same mascara). Brow hairs started growing in my old “bold” spots. I do believe the process of growing slows down when you stop using the product though. Otherwise, solid product. Caffeine rules 😊

*IT WORKS* I' ve using it since September 2023. I had tried a bunch of pharmacy brands before (always without prostaglandines). It' s peptides definitely help absolutely every single hair to reach its telogen. In my case they are no longer, no thicker. Just all of them stay with me until the end. Wich is great.

I wish it worked for me too because I love the price point for the Ordinary. I did an experiment on myself. One brow I used RapidBrow, the other I used the Ordinary. I ended up only doing the experiment for 1.5 months because my eyebrows were mismatched. The RapidBrow side grew thick while the Ordinary side was thin. I immediately started using the RapidBrow on my other brow to get it to catch up. It looked funny having one thick brow lol.

There are other lash serums like twenty/twenty, developed by an ophthalmologist. There's Reviv Lash and Brow serum (no prostaglandins). In the UK, there's one called Dr. Sister Skincare. And several eye channels like Dr. Rupa Wong (ophthalmologist) and Vibe Optometry have serum recommendations without prostaglandins.

Thanks Dr. Dray. I have been using the Twenty Twenty Beauty caster oil serum for lash/brows. The most remarkable thing I've noticed from it is that my eyes are so less itchy than they used to be. I don't know if it's contributing to the growth so much as keeping my lashes conditioned so they don't break as easily. Keep up the good work!

Thank you for reviewing this and for all of your extremely informative content!🙂 You seem to always come out with a video discussing the very thing that I'm in the middle of trying or looking into trying; It's great! I have actually been using this product on my lashes and brows for about 2 months now. I have seriously thin lashes and I've definitely noticed a difference in their appearance since using this. They look much fuller and more conditioned...like I actually have lashes now 😆. I haven't noticed much of a difference in my brows though. All in all, I think it's a decent product to check out if you're looking to improve the health of your lashes. Thanks again for all you do and I hope you have great day!

About 2 years ago, 90% of my lashes on my right eye fell out. Not sure why they fell out. I was sooo self conscious about it. People said they never noticed until I pointed it out but my right eye was bald! I started using The Ordinary’s Lash and Brow Serum and within a month I started seeing growth. Two years later, my lashes are still longer and thicker than before they fell out. The serum never burned my eyes, was really inexpensive compared to other brands and actually worked for me. I still apply the serum to my lashes a couple of times per week.

About 15 years ago i used a lash growth serum. My lashes looked amazing! A few months later I noticed my blue eyes were changing color. The change happened very quickly once started. I immediately stopped using it but now my eyes are more greenish with some brown flecks. Really frustrating! I’ve obviously gotten use to them but definitely wish I would’ve did more research prior to using. At the time had no idea that could happen.

I've been using lash and brow growth serum with prostaglandins for a long time and with good effect. I've thought about trying the new peptide stuff (although I don't seem have any of the dreaded side effects), but I really, really don't want to risk losing my gains again. Especially with my brows, the effect build up over many months.

I tried it for a while. I think it helped a little bit, put probably not as much as the hormonal stuff. I quit using it because I wasn’t sure how I felt about the growth factor peptides. BUT rather those peptides (that probably don’t do anything) than prostaglandins.

I’m guessing some of these OTC products help with *brow* growth but I wonder if it could also be the stimulation of the brow area itself?
I was using The Ordinary’s lash/brow serum on my brows only but I’d gently massage it in. Did the same with Black Castor Oil because it was awkward to apply it with the spoolie.
    Had success both times.

I have been using the ordinary serum for a year. I decided to upgrade to grande lash serum. I used it the night before. I wome up in the middle of the night with my eyes burning. I washed it off at 3am. I woke up with red, irritated eyes. Last night, I was washing my face and noticed 2 dark spots under my bottom lashes. I'm terrified to that lash serum. Can I use it on my brows instead of my lashes? I've used the dermalect serum, and it never made my eyes hurt. T.I.A.

I tried this daily for 6 weeks and it wasn't it. I was on Scorolash before, which I absolutely love, but wanted to try something cheaper. I still had long lashes.
It made my lashes fall out like crazy, but they regrew fast. I thought that maybe I needed to let the lashes start a new cycle, but after 6 weeks the fallout did not stop and what grew back only made it to my normal length before falling out again.
I wanted to love this, I really did, but I tossed this in the trash.

You've done several sessions about different shampoos. What I would like to know if there protocols in terms of the use of different types of shampoos singularly or "layered"? I use a purple shampoo (I'm grey). A clarifying shampoo, a strengthening shampoo, and a prescription ketoconazole shampoo, mostly to potentially increase my hair growth, as you've mentioned. I'm also using minoxidil 5% 😂and am on finasteride and spironolactone. I'm throwing in the whole shebang! Both my dermatologist and my endocrinologist are aware of my regimen. My grandmother died almost bald, but 68 nowadays bald is not cool. Anyhoo, can I combine any of the shampoos in a layered fashion, maybe the ketoconazole, after letting it sit on scalp 5 minutes, rinse it out, and then use my purple shampoo? Or, as I'm doing, only one of each per shampoo?? It makes it very hard to keep track of the shampoos' order! Could you address this subject? Everyone is concerned about layering of facial actives, but I think this is a good topic too? Thank you.
