Unfortunately, from what we have seen in the game, the endgame will be farming decorations....again. Now, they will probably take a page from Rise and also make it so that we can farm for layered armor and extra weapon upgades, but the main thing will probably be decos again.
They have all but confirmed that, yes, but they have also confirmed that every skill can be crafted as well. It sounds like there will be single-skill craftable decos, and RNG multi--skill decos.
I think that world and iceborne did a better work with those. Letting either: -Having the chance of gettin a defined strong weapon. (Kjarr) -Having a template (Safi) and then you upgrading or giving some tweaks until it becomes stronger. Yet I would rather have a cool weapon at the start of the game and upgrade it until it turns into a monster at the end. Like what happened with Rise and Sunbreak. Honestly farming weapons with random stats feels like playing Diablo.
Agree on the don't want random stats part. We had rng decos in world, rng charms in rise, dont make the most exciting piece of gear (weapon) rng in wilds, that would be the most frustrating thing imaginable.
The RNG weapons in world were also tied to only two monsters (safi and Kulve) which forced you to grind those monsters only at endgame. If they had something like this mysterious woods or the guiding lands where you encountered strong versions of any monster and they gave you drops that could be used to craft some sort of modified endgame “relic” item that might be better
There's still people grinding for that kjarr ice so no it wasn't done right. Kulve tarroth was a two week event so if you didn't get it well too bad. They later made her available again but that was horrible. Worst system in mh safijiva though I like that one wouldn't mind it back
@@rebirthofgodrics907 I hated Kulve. Safi was better, but still didn’t like having to drink the same fight that necessitated multiplayer over and over. I just want to chill and hunt monsters and at endgame hope I can hunt them all for a chance to upgrade something
People always claim that they hate RNG drops in monster Hunter except every time the game has tried to reduce RNG the player base plummets. RNG is critically necessary for player longevity by dangling a carrot in front of us for us to chase. If everything is craftable then the game is finite, whereas if you have to grind a mission hoping for a drop you can technically get infinite playtime out of it.
I preferred RNG talismans with craftable decos. Decos are generally much more important to the core setup of a build. It sounds like we're getting both this time though. Craftable decos for every skill in the game, an RNG advanced decos that can have multiple skills.
@TwistedFox42 with RNG charms the RNG is all or nothing. You either have the god roll or you don't. You don't steadily progress instead you just get nothing until you finally get an upgrade. With decos you steadily build up a catalogue of options and with the exception of 2 decorations in world, missing a deco at worst meant you'd have 1 less offensive skill
IM SO TIRED OF PEOPLE DOING AI VOICES AHHHHHH
It saves a massive amount of time between voice recording and editing. I can see why people do it.
Nothing would make me happier than relic's coming back.
I think the relic system incorporated into Wilds would be so bad ass. Absolutely crackin idea bruv. Now to daydream about it….
Man. I just want the weathered longsword "Momento" to come back
We had ancient weapons since mh1. That should make a comeback
am i the only one who gets AI vibes?
AI Vibes with a touch of "pretending I didn't see the leaks and use it as my own idea for views" lol
Yes it’s AI voiced. Pretty dumb
I cant stand AI. Especially if the grammar is off.

with weapons now also having more skills, would make for an even more interesting system. I also liked how the colors were changed
4:08 what was that following the chatacabra?? One thing flying behind it
some sort of endemic life i paused they look kinda like giant wasps
Other then Relic Weapons, I want the Stone Gear back that eventually becomes Obsidian Gear! Those always looked amazing imo ^^
