I hope we get a Gammoth/Tigrex turf war
Wow, new chanel about mh? Pretty good so far
Honestly, I don't care about male Gammoth. I just want Gammoth in general...
My friend is aragnophobic and she is afraid that the huge spider creatures will be a roadbkock to her that she cant overcome.
Trading for monster parts of monsters not in the game was a whole other system. That one would be great. An endless weapon/armor grind, that's way worse than the charm grind in Rise, please no. Getting what you wanted from qurio crafting was annoying enough. If every stats on everything is RNG, you bet your ass that the title update monsters will be bullshit. "what? This content isn't for you. it's scaled for the insanely small percentage of players that rolled good gear from the RNG because, if we didn't, those people wold wine." The title update people, who often miss the point, would not use this system well. It would be an excuse for stupidity in design and be a disaster. Those fools didn't even pay attention when their betters said what perfect rush was designed to do. "This is a move to make elemental S&S viable, rather than just raw and free KO from falling bash spam." Yet those idiots saw it not doing enough damage to justify a rhythm game and buffed the raw attack, not the element. Also the devs admitting, repeatedly, throughout World and Iceborne that they messed up on elemental damage as a whole. What did these idiots do? Made an entire hunt that kills you for not doing enough elemental damage. This would not end well. "Less grind" he says, oh my sweet summer child.
Can be DLC with Deviljho or Lagiacrus, i doubt they are in the release. Or even maybe in Expansion.
Nothing would make me happier than relic's coming back.
relic weapons is laterally jus generic arpg loot i hate them do not cook
Man. I just want the weathered longsword "Momento" to come back
rng for armor and weapons no thank you
People always claim that they hate RNG drops in monster Hunter except every time the game has tried to reduce RNG the player base plummets. RNG is critically necessary for player longevity by dangling a carrot in front of us for us to chase. If everything is craftable then the game is finite, whereas if you have to grind a mission hoping for a drop you can technically get infinite playtime out of it.
I preferred RNG talismans with craftable decos. Decos are generally much more important to the core setup of a build. It sounds like we're getting both this time though. Craftable decos for every skill in the game, an RNG advanced decos that can have multiple skills.
@TwistedFox42 with RNG charms the RNG is all or nothing. You either have the god roll or you don't. You don't steadily progress instead you just get nothing until you finally get an upgrade. With decos you steadily build up a catalogue of options and with the exception of 2 decorations in world, missing a deco at worst meant you'd have 1 less offensive skill
IM SO TIRED OF PEOPLE DOING AI VOICES AHHHHHH
It saves a massive amount of time between voice recording and editing. I can see why people do it.
Exactly! Using AI voices saves me a lot of time in the editing process, allowing me to focus more on research, writing, and improving the overall quality of the videos. Also, I’m not very comfortable with my own voice since I have a strong accent, but who knows? Maybe in the future, I’ll try recording with my real voice ^^
It would be shit, totally, completely and awful shit
Unfortunately, from what we have seen in the game, the endgame will be farming decorations....again. Now, they will probably take a page from Rise and also make it so that we can farm for layered armor and extra weapon upgades, but the main thing will probably be decos again.
They have all but confirmed that, yes, but they have also confirmed that every skill can be crafted as well. It sounds like there will be single-skill craftable decos, and RNG multi--skill decos.
with weapons now also having more skills, would make for an even more interesting system. I also liked how the colors were changed
Rng charms is already a pain for me, if I have to rng get a perfect weapon for a build again I’m going to shoot myself
am i the only one who gets AI vibes?
AI Vibes with a touch of "pretending I didn't see the leaks and use it as my own idea for views" lol
Yes, it's an AI voice, but no, I haven't seen the leaks. If my 'theory' matches them, I literally have no idea.
I think that world and iceborne did a better work with those. Letting either: -Having the chance of gettin a defined strong weapon. (Kjarr) -Having a template (Safi) and then you upgrading or giving some tweaks until it becomes stronger. Yet I would rather have a cool weapon at the start of the game and upgrade it until it turns into a monster at the end. Like what happened with Rise and Sunbreak. Honestly farming weapons with random stats feels like playing Diablo.
Agree on the don't want random stats part. We had rng decos in world, rng charms in rise, dont make the most exciting piece of gear (weapon) rng in wilds, that would be the most frustrating thing imaginable.
The RNG weapons in world were also tied to only two monsters (safi and Kulve) which forced you to grind those monsters only at endgame. If they had something like this mysterious woods or the guiding lands where you encountered strong versions of any monster and they gave you drops that could be used to craft some sort of modified endgame “relic” item that might be better
There's still people grinding for that kjarr ice so no it wasn't done right. Kulve tarroth was a two week event so if you didn't get it well too bad. They later made her available again but that was horrible. Worst system in mh safijiva though I like that one wouldn't mind it back
@@rebirthofgodrics907 I hated Kulve. Safi was better, but still didn’t like having to drink the same fight that necessitated multiplayer over and over. I just want to chill and hunt monsters and at endgame hope I can hunt them all for a chance to upgrade something
4:08 what was that following the chatacabra?? One thing flying behind it
some sort of endemic life i paused they look kinda like giant wasps
Other then Relic Weapons, I want the Stone Gear back that eventually becomes Obsidian Gear! Those always looked amazing imo ^^
We had ancient weapons since mh1. That should make a comeback
I think the relic system incorporated into Wilds would be so bad ass. Absolutely crackin idea bruv. Now to daydream about it….
I personally think MH could add more herbivore to it's roster even if it's not gammoth just like how diablos and duramboros are notoriously aggressive monster in irl herbivores that lives in high predators activity tend to be more aggressive too so it would be cool to have more of it
i miss Duramboros 😩
Justice for gammoth hop she in the next trailer fingers crossed
Ooh, can’t wait to see what they do with him and the Great Thunderbug return. (Maybe more proof for Yama Tsukami w/ Great Thunderbug?!?)
Im so happy to see him 🎉
i think people forgot that gammoths are popodromes, the popo matriarchs, so idk if a male gammoth would even be an actual thing
Popodromes were just a scrapped concept art; they are in no way "canon" within the games.
Ahh yeah the concept 3D model of popodrome from the beta still haunted me to this day
I think it would be cool to see a Rathalos/Rathian type duo, but the twist is that they're opposing creatures. Bull elephants in real life have a reputation for aggression, especially during "Musth", so the male gammoth could be a destructive brute in contrast to the female's protective nature.
a male gammoth thats a variant in the desert
I did hear that Wilds is defiabtly going to be huge, so a snowy enviroment is ideal for Gammoth's return, and a desert varient would be really cool
Maybe have a variant inspired by the Columbian Mammoth.
Always thought it'd be interesting and a bit more favorable if Gammoth retained its status as a regal and powerful female of the species (with a redesigned game fight preferably). And the males were slightly smaller but more aggressive living in a different environment and only meeting the females for mating, maybe a Mastodon based design that's shorter and longer, maybe living in a sort of bamboo forest and having water element instead of ice. I don't think a larger, icier, stronger gammoth would be very interesting, cause we already have Elderfrost Gammoth.
I hope that doesn't mean we break its trunk or somehow chop it off like a tail
my personal theory is th\t when young male Gammoths grow big and old enough, they leave the herd in search of a mate, upon finding one, they compete with other male gammoths for her approval and if successful, they sire a few children before leaving to find another female (how herds are made). This puts them in a near constant state of musth.
AI voice...
yep
AI voice 😂😂
yep
Haha, male Gammoth will have 2 TRUNKS instead of one!
she's my number 1 for wilds, but a bull gammoth would be a 10 out of 10
The new decoration system sounds like a step in the right direction. I like it!
Where is the source for legiana being female and shrieking being male. Guys love making stuff up
There's a reason why Gammoth is the only female within the Fated Four. The stronger gender represents their species as a whole, thus making her stand out even more. Only gen 5 players will make shitty theories like this and be proud about it "Whoa! A male gammoth is bigger and stronger then a female Gammoth! How *cReAtivE and unPreDicTabLe!* "
Stfu, you shit talk about gen 5 players but then u end up sounding like a world baby. And hello mizu?, the only reason we hunt mizu is because they are males that are out of control because of breeding season, it doesn’t have to be about gender it can be for niche reasons like mizu
And quit babbling about the stronger gender when lunastra and Teostra are right there. There can be 2 monsters to represent a species idk where you came up with the idea that only the strongest gender of the species can represent it 💀💀💀 what a shitty take
Stfu as well you talk about gen 5 players like they babies but here you are acting just like a world baby 😂
Don't forget about the Ahtal-Ka, which is known to be the female of its species and is one of the best final bosses in the franchise, not to mention the recent Rakna-Kadaki and other monsters. But some people prefer to criticize and point fingers, saying things like "only 5th-gen players say that," when they themselves don't even know the monsters from the older games. By the way @TherealNiqqa, I started in the second gen, just for your information. Take care, and stop making these ridiculous comments. 😉
This isn't necessarily true, not only are there features that could make a male gammoth more interesting to fight (musth to be frank), but male mammals are naturally larger than their female counterparts. They could've made Ibushi and Narwa the exact same size, but they would then just be reskinned versions of each other. There is also the blatantly obvious fact that Legiana is viewed as the main species (female), whereas shrieking is just a subspecies (male), meaning that even though Legiana represents the species as a whole, it doesn't mean it's the stronger one.
THIS THEORY IS SO GOOD IT'S A SPOILER
The baby Gammoth found in some cards isn’t a canon baby Gammoth, as the concept art for adolescent Gammoth says they are white as snow to blend in. Be weird to start blue and red, turn white, and then turn blue and red again. As for the male Gammoth conversation, personally I don’t really want to see one. Gammoth’s vibes as a matriarch and goddess of the storm is real neat to me and to make a male version that’s just stronger downplays that. If they make a Gammoth that’s weaker and is the male, that’s just unnecessary padding for no real reason and they would never make a clone of another monster that’s just worse.
Mission Quell the Beast. Monster Karmmoth aka Gammoth bull. Classification : elder dragons level threat fanged beast Star level : 6 Status : stun Element : frost A shy and rarely appearing male Gammoth. Said to be larger and faster than his female counterpart spotted with longer and sharper tusks. Only appears during mating season. While in heat Karmmoth can be very aggressive toward everything in his sight. Even an elder dragon. Researchers report territory disputes between him and Ukanlos during the mating season have increased since the appearance of Archvale. The crash between two rulers of the tundra region disturbed the balance of the ecosystem and may lead to dangerous disaster. In order to quell the dispute a group of hunters will be tasked with dealing with him and Ukanlos. Cutscenes. Herd of popos and juvenile Gammoth group up and ready for Tigrex attack. Tigrex change in furiously at the herd but at the moment right before he can reach the herd Karmmoth charge in and pin Tigrex with his enormous tusk before lift tigrex with his trunk and throw the hungry wyvern away. Then he roar at the wyvern and stomping grounds to scared him away. A more aggressive remake of Gammoth theme played.
Nice idea! I really like this quest description, especially how it ties into the ecosystem and the dynamic between Karmmoth and Ukanlos. Thanks for sharing such a detailed and creative concept!
Thank you for this video
If it’s just a male gammoth then I’d imagine trying to fit it into a category of the variations would be quite difficult. I think I have three ideas on how this can be avoided. 1. Give it a completely different name. Much like Rathian and Rathalos, this male Gammoth can take on a different name like Gammalon or something. 2. Create a new category of variation for the male Gammoth and other potential monsters. Black Diablos and White Monoblos could even be put in here. It could literally be called the dimorphic species or something along those lines. 3. If the only male Gammoth we fight are in must, this could potentially justify it being called a variant. I think people would be more on board with this, instead f it being labelled as a subspecies.
I really like your first idea! Giving the male Gammoth a completely different name, like Gammalon, adds a unique identity and aligns well with the Rathian and Rathalos naming convention. Thanks for sharing these creative options-it’s always fun to explore how these concepts could work in the Monster Hunter universe!
I would love a gammoth variant of the male plus gammoth is my favorite of all the fated four members wild is a bigger world for her fingers crossed she in justice4gammoth
My 4 Ultimate Fav is so back!
I really hope so. Could you imagine how bad ass a male Gammoth would look? I mean absolutely bad ass and would be one hell of a fight.
M-Ma-Male?! So if I call her Big Mama Gams there's a chance I could be politically incorrect now?! lol. Though I am glad they're adding variants of monsters that are more than just 'this is an angrier version'.
It's not, it will looks like a blurry mess. Mark my words. You'll see video pop up comparing how mhw was sharper and has better performance
