The problem with Samsung note is its not available everywhere. You have to separately install it in your pc. On the other hand Google keep is available everywhere, as long you have a browser with Internet connection.
I love Keep for simple quick notes, as well as checklists (e.g. shopping lists). I'm a programmer and open source enthusiast, so for "long form" notes I prefer Joplin. I'd much rather work with Markdown instead of the freeform style of Samsung Notes or OneNote. It's open source, cross platform including Linux, and you can sync with various different providers (Dropbox, OneDrive, NextCloud).
I kind of like both of them I use the key and the Samsung notes so they're both great it's always good to have two of a guy take care Jeff by the way here in New York we have a new app it's called mid m i d what it is is that you can put your driver's license or ID in the app it's very very cool I don't know obviously you're not in New York but I'm in New York it's the coolest thing I ever seen I have my ID I don't drive anymore I sold my car and it's great when you put all the information you got to put your pictures and you also have the barcode when you touch the your picture it opens a barcode in Spanish and it shows the an ID like a like a driver's license pretty cool got to check it out I don't know if they have it there but I haven't here All right take care😅
Keep is fantastic for shopping lists. It works amazing on my Galaxy Watch 6 too. Plus if you have a note named "My Shopping List" you can add items to it too with Google Assistant or even Gemini.
you know whats really crazy I use Samsung notes and I have spent hours making folders for my semester notes only to find I can't export my folders. I can export all the notes in one go and messy 72 files at once but not with the folders. So its pretty crazy
You cannot protect your sensitive information on the Keep you cannot protect a note wıth a password and I wısh Samsung Notes had a way to access your notes on the web on a desktop pc
I use keep because it's what i started with, and I'm used to it. They both look like great choices, but I actually like that keep has fewer options. Samsung notes would probably confuse me lol

Yep the cross platform compatability
Agree, if Samsung released Samsung apps on all PCs and not just Samsung's, they would do much better
Keep notes works really well when using my iPad but I like Samsung Notes exclusively when on my Samsung.

How do you get the black background for your apps?
Where did you find the widget you're using for Google Keep? Or the folder. Not sure what that is

I use keep for shopping list sincr it has a wearos version to use the lists from my arm while shopping. Most other uxes are done in notes.

How is your google keep so dark? In mine, I have enabled dark mode, but it is at the very best grey.
What version of Samsung Notes are you using? I don't have all those options. Using Version 4.4.18.43 on the S22. Claims to be the latest version.
I use Keep to save videos and pics, everything else i use Samsung notes

I use keep notes all the time from my pc and phone. Samsung requiring you to have their pc to access from a laptop was a huge letdown.
Samsung note is better. I've been using it for years
