Notes:
Pool area looked new, with new looking tile and well maintained.
At this time, not all rooms were renovated. The ones that are were newly renovated.
Our room was renovated and was called a side ocean and pool view King.
The Panoramic view rooms were not yet renovated at the time of this video.
K-cup coffee at the hotel was not the greatest..but acceptable.
Bathroom was very clean and stocked with their named products. Water pressure was fine.
The towels setup like swans was a nice touch and unexpected when coming back in.
Parking was ample and there is EV charging by ChargePoint but it was very expensive.
** $3/hr with a minimum of $6 for charging. For my vehicle (12kwh battery) it was over $10 dollars which was not worth it. Charging at the local welcome center was cents on the mile.
Entrance vestibule was nice and smelled newly painted. Bathrooms were spotless.
When we arrived, the building staff was watering all the plant life around the building which looked well-manicured.
Bike rentals were available at the front desk. Did not obtain pricing but all the bikes looked new and well maintained.
There was a smoking section near the area where the bikes were being stored which was a little annoying if you didn't care for the smell of it. But all good.
Breakfast at the restaurant was good and not that expensive.
Cape May History:
Cape May was named by Captain Cornelius Jacobsen Mey in 16201. It was later settled by New Englanders from the New Haven Colony. Cape May was originally formed as the borough of Cape Island by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 8, 1848, from portions of Lower Township. It was reincorporated as Cape Island City on March 10, 1851, and finally became Cape May City as of March 9, 1869
