Hey Aly smalls thanks for telling me about the video I'm off to Caribe princess deluxe Puna Cana in march 11th till 26th I've started my shopping I've already got my closed up shoes few collared shirts so far I'm doing my main clothes shopping in Feb I'm going on my own so will I be ok on my own
I like to bring a few adjustable mattress straps to hold the beach towel in place just clip around the back of your lounger. No more towels blowing off down the beach.
What a great idea of the floaties for the pool. We’re going to Tulum in May god willing and we love the pool but we need something to hang on to this is an awesome idea. Great video thanks
Wow! Those floaties look awesome, gettin some for sure!!! Sunscreen in a stick!!?? Cool!!! Didn't even know they had that. Another good tip to go with paying tips in local currency is to use local currency everywhere you go.. I found that to be the cheapest way to pay. The exchange you get everywhere is to their benefit and not yours, of course. So paying with pesos is way easier and easy on the brain converting too, lol. Great video, cheers!!!
👒 I take a rope or ribbon and my husband actually did it for me but he did talk to the job but holes on the side and then wrap it around underneath the chin I hate having to worry in a fly off
I haven't done a video comparing all the top resorts, but we had a lovely time at the Grand Palladium Vallarta here: ua-cam.com/video/UKU5BLQRYIA/v-deo.html
Great intro yes I have had that feeling where I forgot something and that’s why I was looking for videos so I can be prepared and make sure I have the most important items. Passport and ID swimsuit to pair of underwear one dress 👗 minimum shorts 🩳 tank! And sombrero!! 👒 ohh shoes 👟 😊
Genuinely curious, is tipping expected at these all inclusive resorts? I'm not American so we really don't tip where im from (unless it's like a special meal).
Hi Bailey, this was shot at the Grand Palladium Vallarta, about 35 minutes outside of Puerto Vallarta - I have a full video tour of the resort on my channel if you're interested!
Great tips for an all inclusive resort trip! Planning on going back to Turks & Caicos & Could have used a few of these ideas the first time. 2 pair of sunglasses.😎👍
Hi 👋 thank you so much for the tips...We are going to cancun in April what are the covid restrictions? Going to mexico and coming back to florida..Florida.. Do we need proof of vaccination or just negative test? Thanks 😊
Hi! Masking is still required in public areas, but other than that you should be fine. No negative test or proof of vaccination required to enter Mexico. To go back home to Florida, you will need a negative viral test (rapid antigen) within one day of travel, so basically the day before departure.
Hi! Cute sunnies, they look just like my ray ban pair. I would rather not bring those in case I lose or break them. Can you please link the ones you are wearing from Amazon?!
I am going to use mexican pesos for what I have left but will also be bringing USD. I saw some pointers about new bills (my local bank has mentioned since the pandemic they have not really received new bills). I am worried the older smaller change will not be sufficient due to not being crisp and some with some ink markings or someone writing on them. What are your thoughts?
I love going to the beach especially now that its summer, its the perfect weather! Thought of sharing the bag that I have been using since then, its the best bag. It is from Nomad Lance!
Me and my friend are going independent trip to Mexico, can you recommend or suggest the best place to go? Waiting for your reply. Thanks and your videos are awesome knowledgeable and helpful. Gurmeet 🇨🇦
I wore mine on the plane and then placed it under the seat. You can also pack it in your suitcase by placing it upside down and then filling it with soft items so it doesn't squish
I have a video called: Useful Mexico Travel Tips 2023: Practical Advice - Money, Bathrooms, Sim Cards, Bartering ua-cam.com/video/UdPnv4QBljU/v-deo.html - I get pesos at an ATM and tip 20-30 pesos per drink and 15% for meals. If you're staying at an AI, maybe 200 per meal.
* bring cash and don’t go to the atms (unless it is at a bank). A LOT of atms in Mexico have skimmers in touristy areas. (Learned this from my friend who lives there full time)
As soon as you iad pack extra clothed in your carry on!!!!! I knew we were the same lol my travel crew made fun of me until our luggage got lost one time bahahah guess who was ready... now they all do it 🤣🤣
It’s nice to switch between the two depending on what you’re looking for that day. Some of those pools can be super nice 😎 especially when it’s a windy day
It’s really rude to tip in foreign currency. Those people work long hours six days a week. It’s a real hardship for them to spend their day off standing in the long lines at the bank to change the money. If you give them pesos, they can use it right away, anywhere. If you go off the resort, you’re see the long lines at the banks.
I made a part 2! Most people miss these 11 Items to pack: ua-cam.com/video/RMs-G8RPlfo/v-deo.html

I heard you should bring tumbler with you cause I heard they don't fill them up it's small they spill them
Add me as a friend so we can keep in touch?

They are better than sun-bed clips and they last years.
Love the stick sunscreen and inflatable pool float. I’m going to order both.
Your personal item tote should always have a zipper. Things can drop out of that open top under the seat or in the taxi or you could be pickpocketed.
Thanks
Thanks J P ☺️
The towel clips, hat and sunglasses I got from the dollar store.
Going to Egypt!! I found this quite helpful even though I’m a kid- THANKS
What a great idea of the floaties for the pool. We’re going to Tulum in May god willing and we love the pool but we need something to hang on to this is an awesome idea. Great video thanks
Agree on the sunglasses especially! The resort will have sunglasses, but at a steep price!
I put passport in baggie. Cheap and works.
Those rose gold sunglasses are so cute!! I like to get $5 sunglasses from 5 below.
good plan!
You guys are so cute ❤️😍 Thanks for the video!

totally agree! thanks for the tip :)
In Canada you can order Mexican pesos and US from your bank a couple of weeks ahead, and request small bills.
Looks like Grand Palladium Vallarta . Cheers 🍻
I think so too! Excited, bc I’m going next week!
This is so great! Perfect advice for cruise vaca's as well!!! Thank you!
This is great! I just returned from cruising the Mexican Riviera and think all inclusive resorts is more my style. Love your channel!
Thanks for your comments! I really love all-inclusives, but I'm curious to try out a cruise, I've never done it!
Thank you! Last time I was in All inclusive resort I was missing exactly those things.
I’d like to add reusable water bottles to the list
great tip!
That depends on the country you are in as in some countries you can't drink the tap water
The floatie tip and link are invaluable!!! Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!

How do you recommend getting pesos and get the best exchange rate?
Good stuff!
Hi! Cute sunnies, they look just like my ray ban pair. I would rather not bring those in case I lose or break them. Can you please link the ones you are wearing from Amazon?!
Hi Heather, here you go: amzn.to/3vVUJ38 - all items are also linked in the video description. Hope you find a pair you like :)
Very helpful!! Thank you

Depends what you're looking for! If I have a better idea of your travel style and what type of vacation you want I can recommend some places
OK, what brand and where did you get that adorable classy carry-on beach bag?
Amazon, the link to my brown bag is in the video description!
Amazing, thank you!
Love the chair clips. Where is your bag from?
to be honest, i can't remember! i've had it for years!!
Hey Aly - which resort is this? It looks beautiful!!
Grand Palladium Vallarta
Great info!
Hello i have a question for you i have much the same hat that i am bringing to Jamaica, how do i pack a hat?
I wore mine on the plane and then placed it under the seat. You can also pack it in your suitcase by placing it upside down and then filling it with soft items so it doesn't squish
Thanks!!
I actually forgot my swim trunks on my first trip to Cuba. There were no stores anywhere so I had to cut my cargo pants into shorts. 🤣
We’re going to Cancun in June. I’d like more info on tipping. Where did you get currency? In the US? How much do you recommend? What’s the %?
I have a video called: Useful Mexico Travel Tips 2023: Practical Advice - Money, Bathrooms, Sim Cards, Bartering ua-cam.com/video/UdPnv4QBljU/v-deo.html - I get pesos at an ATM and tip 20-30 pesos per drink and 15% for meals. If you're staying at an AI, maybe 200 per meal.
So cool! We also have a travel channel! For family fun and stayed at Nickelodean Punta Cana and Riu Bambu!
The husband losing his raybans is a whole vibe
lol
all inclusive has gratuities included.
* bring cash and don’t go to the atms (unless it is at a bank). A LOT of atms in Mexico have skimmers in touristy areas. (Learned this from my friend who lives there full time)
Great tip - I included this exact comment in my Mexico travel tips video :) ua-cam.com/video/UdPnv4QBljU/v-deo.html
What about if it's a two hour drive holiday
Most of the resorts at Punta Cana have gratuities included!
I only bring money to tip the bartenders.
how much is a decent tip to give in Cancun ?
Poor Chris losing his glasses, but I feel his pain so I will be using that tip on cheap glasses
As soon as you iad pack extra clothed in your carry on!!!!! I knew we were the same lol my travel crew made fun of me until our luggage got lost one time bahahah guess who was ready... now they all do it 🤣🤣
I am loving the videos.I feel like I am living vicariously through them. Thank you Aly for your amazing channel!
Nutmeg1983
Awww thank you so much for the kind words :)
From my understanding they much prefer we just gove them the US dollar, and that its not a big deal
I would NOT be in a pool when there is a BEACH steps away.
The Pacific Ocean beaches are often way too rough with undertow and often full of jellyfish and alligators. No joke.
It’s nice to switch between the two depending on what you’re looking for that day. Some of those pools can be super nice 😎 especially when it’s a windy day
Well what if you have sensitive skin like me
Fr
Please read the rules of your airline/airport though because most airports in Europe do count sticks as a liquid!
Oh good tip - I haven't had an issue in North America, so thank you for that!
they love the American dollar it's accepted everywhere

20dollar sunglasses on Amazon....is this all hidden advertisement for the company?
Microwave......?
Really helpful thank you 👏🏻
Thank you!!!
