Enjoyed the video! 1st off great choice of cars love it love the color. 2nd coated my new project car with V2 2 weeks ago. Used this on my daily going through the normal rigors of SoCal driving. Agreed with your application assessment as well, applied in 84 degrees. I am hopeful that this one holds otherwise I’m going with my go to MOHS. I was happy to see you made a video on this product I don’t think there is enough. enjoyed your video keep it up just subscribed.
@@AllAboutTheDetails Thanks for the kind words!! Love the car. perfect mix of sport and luxury. and the Brooklyn Gray wasn't my first choice but am so glad i chose it!! I get a lot of looks when I drive :) I'm happy with the results for far. I'll do a 2 month review on both sides of the car. one for Cerakote V2 and one for MOHS. But hint - they are both working well !! Thanks for watching and please share with friends.
Good video , i just think to have a ceramic coating that cures in 2 hrs and not 12 or 24 is a game changer meaning you can do a car for someone in a day, trouble here in the Uk we suffer with crap weather and you need 18 degrees or more to apply as where Gyeon mohs can be applied in cooler conditions
@@DuncanNewton-w8i very true. but I would say V2 is a lot more forgiving. To be honest I see much better results from all coatings when applied in warmer conditions. Sometimes it brings me back to when ceramics used to be hit with warming lamps during cure. thanks for watching and please share and subscribe !!
Great video as usual! I received my free bottles as well, but haven’t tried it yet, waiting for reviews to see if it holds up. What polish, pad and polisher did you use to paint correct and prepare for the coating? Thanks!
@@MedicalNeptune awesome! thanks for the kind words. I'm actually pleased with my editing on this one. The prep was done with Griots fast correcting cream, their Boss polisher and orange pad. then i did a wipe down with Gyeon panel prep.
I didn't but I know you can. I used the Glaco (from Japan) on the glass which worked great! I do get some shutter with coatings on the windshield....but it's hit or miss. Cerakote V2 is still working well after a few months!
@@talkingwithcars I just used it on a black SUV. All I can say is no way you can wait 5 mins to level off and remove when it’s 80 degrees and 80% humidity like it is here in Alabama. I only could wait 2 mins . Plus it’s a good thing they give you 2 bottles because it takes a lot to coat just 1 regular SUV. It does wipe off very easily and it ultra slick. It also deepened the black on this SUV. I was overall impressed.
Coating looks exceptional
@@KingTheDetailer for 2 weeks. very good. I'll be doing a on month plus video soon
