I prefer room tours with captions and music instead of someone talking throughout the video. And thanks for showing how to pull down the Murphy bed. Some guests may not know how it differs from a traditional sofa bed.
Boy, I am so happy we stayed at all of the deluxe resorts during their heydays, when they had actual theming and didn’t look like an I-95 motel room. Disney has also destroyed the theming at the moderates. We would usually do split stays. Go up and stay at a moderate for one night before we moved to our deluxe resort for the rest of our stay. Now, the grand Floridian doesn’t look much different from the Pop. 😢
This is my home resort. As someone who always sleeps on the sofa, I cannot tell you how happy I am that the wall beds were installed as part of the soft line refurbishment. Can't wait for my BCV vacation in April 2024. 😄 BTW, master bedrooms are now referred to as "primary" bedrooms. 😊
Do you know when will they will complete the refurb in BC? Had one of the pull down beds in SSR, and they were a huge improvement over the old pull outs.
It's a standard mattress on a pull-down platform. I can't speak to what people will think of the firmness, but it's about the same as any traditional bed.
It's a nice hotel but where is the theming? It is just filled with standard hotel furniture stock that you can readily order. There was nothing custom by Disney about the room. It's sad to see theming not being a thing anymore and they are just renovating rooms with standard furniture and building new hotels that look pretty standard.
I agree, Disney is short changing these beautiful resorts. I own at Boardwalk & their refurb is just blah. These resorts deserve more love and theming.

Thanks. Glad you liked it!
I agree 💯. Thank goodness for the mute button. 😆

Great video, very helpful!

Last news from Disney is that all of the villa rooms are supposed to be refurbished by the end of October 2023.
A rather extensive refurbishment for a soft goods refurb. Looks very nice!
Do you have a preview of the Boardwalk Villas or resort? Great video by the way! ❤
You guys all need to sort out your cameras. Appalling quality
What kind of coffee maker do they have? We usually bring our own coffee.
I believe the newer rooms have a combination drip / Keurig pod
Are the murphy beds comfortable? It still has to be an improvement over the sleeper sofa.
