@@talkingwithcars yes as in from 2012+ Impreza. 2013+ Crosstrek. 2014+ Forester. 2015+ legacy/outback/auto WRX. Anything before that has a different shifter design and after 2018 has the improved design or was changed to a different design.

@@talkingwithcars My previous W203 was a piece of cake 6 torx screws to take the lid off, Our other car Mk7 Golf is also 6 torx screws and a 5 min job. Even worse however is a Porsche 981 Cayman or Boxster. Took me almost an hour to change the filter in my C300 Wagon. And if the sensor plugs were difficult, the coupling of the airbox to the turbo at the C clip was also a pain separating the pieces and later putting them together to line up the grove so the C clip holds them together as the coupling between the 2 plastic parts is very stiff

@@YYZ-SRQ wow! I can deal with the 6 torx screws for sure. that would be super easy. I can see Porsches being difficult. sometimes I think it's intentional to frustrate owners and get them to bring it to the dealer. ugh!

@@talkingwithcars I just finished it in about 20 min. Both sides. Super easy. Requires a bit of hand strength to get the gray cover off but that shouldn't be a problem for any man. If it is, I would correct that issue first.

I didn't but I know you can. I used the Glaco (from Japan) on the glass which worked great! I do get some shutter with coatings on the windshield....but it's hit or miss. Cerakote V2 is still working well after a few months!

@@talkingwithcars I just used it on a black SUV. All I can say is no way you can wait 5 mins to level off and remove when it’s 80 degrees and 80% humidity like it is here in Alabama. I only could wait 2 mins . Plus it’s a good thing they give you 2 bottles because it takes a lot to coat just 1 regular SUV. It does wipe off very easily and it ultra slick. It also deepened the black on this SUV. I was overall impressed.
