Strong tornado damage from Panama City Beach, lower lagoon, FL destroying homes, businesses, apartments and boats. Drone video shows a home laying crooked. Roofs ripped off apartments, homes and two boat dry docks destroyed.
What a horrific sight. Prayers and more prayers for the residents. I hope no one died or was seriously hurt
😢
See the problem with prayer. Is this the poor people that suffered all the damage probably pray to God before it happened to have it not happen. And their next door neighbors. Pray to god that it wouldn't happen to them and it didn't happen to them. So either prayer causes discrimination or it just simply doesn't work at all.
@@ke4uyp Prayer is your direct communication with the Creator & Father, God. Just because you pray about a storm doesn’t mean it’s going to change. There could be countless reasons it happened. Also not everyone that prays is going to get their prayers heard &/or answered. He specifically says He hears the prayers of the righteous. So if people are living in sin, have not repented & baptized then He doesn’t hear because they disobey His Law. He is the Law & His Word it’s the Law. You cannot go against the Law & if you do there are consequences. Lawless ones are of satan wether they realize it or not. If we are the Temple of God, made in His image & likeness (which you are) then you are to follow the Law so destruction doesn’t come. There is so much about & many examples of this, but you will only get it in His Word. You should read it yourself to get the full truth on the subject. Shalom.

too late for prayers.
it was very scary for all of us who lives in the panhandle of florida!!😢 prayers for all affected 🙌🙌🙌
Prayers won't help them now
From the end of 2024, the number and scale of natural disasters will increase multiple times. The reason for this is entering the cosmic cycle of 12,000 years.
If we don't take action now, in 5-7 years it will be impossible to live on the planet. And not later than 2036 there will be a catastrophe, which will turn the Earth into a second Mars.
We still have a chance to save the planet and our own lives. The analytical report and ways to solve the problem are voiced here: "Global Crisis. The Responsibility" (online forum).

Looks like the Contractors forgot to use anchor bolts on that one house tilted on its foundation right next to two other houses that only had roof damage. This might be high EF2 or low EF3 damage. Some of these houses and apartments look like really shoddy, crappy construction. I say this as both a professional Carpenter and an amateur meteorologist.
That was my first thought as well and as a carpenter that’s not normal
I moved to Florida four years ago. I soon realized that you have to hire a competant handyman to oversee any contractor's work. You need to watch them like a hawk. A one year old roof will peel off like a sardine can top only because they didn't put enough nails in the shingles. It's sad and infuriating
It is annoying! We hired some guys to put up a gate and I told them the game was too low it will scrape the ground, they said its fine. Well one year later its scraping the ground 🙁@@AFAskygoddess
@@AFAskygoddess Yeah idiots two-nail shingles and they are supposed to have 6 nails each. It gets blown off in 75mph winds with just 2 nails.
ALL OF THAT IS CHEAP CONSTUCTION
Great footage! I hope no one got hurt! Always amazing how one building can be torn to pieces and another with no damage right next to it. The whole sideways building is something I have never seen from a tornado!
OMG this is shocking, how devastating for these people. I pray nobody was hurt and send prayers for all there losses and months of recovery while displaced😮😢
it was really scary! The sun wasn’t up yet and my kids and I were awoken by the giant hail hitting our roof. We are used to hurricanes 🌀 and storms, even waterspouts - but this was very rare and weird. Luckily no one died. Things can be replaced, people can’t.
@@leftfinned Oh wow, so glad you and kids are ok and that nobody died here🍀
Praying for all affected...
Thanks so much for sharing this update. Very unusual weather for this time of year.
Great footage! Shocking damage, that marina is the one my in-laws use! We are notifying them now
Praying for all of the families. We vacation here often. So sad to see this.🙏🏽
That's my favorite beach 😢
Did you gloat at all the houses police have financed in their construction the way everyone is doing in Nashville &other cities?
Well Florida knows what a hurricane is like, but sometimes they have a whole week's notice. With a tornado you may have a couple of hours under a tornado watch, but you never know where it's going to hit. Stay strong now it's time to clean up.
this super cell storm was a mere rain cloud about 20-30 prior to landfall..
Gringos as a whole build most of their homes like the first pig in the 3 little pigs story, out of Home Depot and Lowe’s matchsticks and then they cry like a little B’ after any weather event happens, whether is California, Kansas, Ohio or Florida, it’s like this everywhere 🤡
@@imv4c4ncy91this storm had 70+ mph gusts in it!!!!!!!!
true Tornados can strike here with little or no warning I remember when one passed right over my college back in 1995 with no prior warning . there was some damage but we were all safe. prayers and be safe and weather vigilant out there
Yikes
Prayers to all affected...... very sad for those that have lost their homes. I wonder if better building codes would stop as much carnage. Looks like some of the houses weren't anchored down to slab
Local Flordian here, and I just drove during a tornado watch & warning just now to reach my house. 😬 thankfully I got home safe.
Panama City is a beautiful place. This is too sad. 🙏
@@gsp49 And communism and islam are religions of peace.
I disagree, it's turned into an overpriced sh!thole that I once loved.
Weve been getting hit by this storm here in my town in florida almost a tornado, glad there was not one. PRAYERS TO EVERYONE!
Saint Johns, Palm Valley Area?
Why the F would anybody want to live 2 inches from their neighbors house
You obviously haven't seen our most beautiful beaches. That's why. Drop dead gorgeous, sugarc white sand, crystal clear Emerald water and friendly folk. Come on down!
People in san fransisco live that way and its fine
Seeing all the carnage caused by storms like this, I think re-evaluating building codes needs to be done to conform more with the weather events expected in the regions that these houses are built.
But that means more government regulation! Not in DeSantis land!
@@stephenyoung2742yeah more government involvement makes everything better
@@zkurtz21Because the free market has worked soooooo well to ensure that buildings are strong enough to withstand this weather. I'm sure unregulated capitalism will save us all, and totally not result in say, the insurance companies deciding to bail because the State is no longer profitable for them to operate in....
That is so sad and scary!!!🙏🏼🙏🏼💙
Yes - bless you for not playing Music at this sad time 😢
Wow. In NC, if your house is ocean front on the outer banks and a storm rips the house apart, you're done. There's no building back.
Is that a new law since t he 1980s when I wss there?
Nor should there be...
Should be the same here. Also NO new construction either.
As it should be. Having been a resident of Panama City for a good amount of time before i moved and a life long Floridian, I can tell you there is no shame in their up close and personal relationship with the Gulf of Mexico. It's time for our Florida coastal communities to get serious about and re-evaluate their sustainability in light of the clear and present danger that is climate change. This may have been a tornado but a cat 4 or 5 hurricane would have shown us similiar or worse pictures of this particular spot. Time for our Republican led party (for too long now btw) to get serious about climate change and make policy decisions that give us a chance at surviving the future inevitable storms we will face.
@nighthawk_predator1877 It will never happen. Local governments get too much property taxes from these properties.
That dang tornado went through there, over the bay, through southport, through youngstown and through Marianna. That seems like a really long track for Florida tornado. That treasure island marina was destroyed just like that in hurricane Michael. Guy cant catch a break.
BUILD BETTER
Arrowhead campground in Marianna was hit by this tornado! I heard atleast 2 people are dead. It's very sad!!!!!!
Don't forget about tornado from Hurricane Ivan in 04, hit the old Treasure Ship & destroyed Hamilton's Restaurant.
@@fmbbeachbum8163 yeah...I remember the tornados that Ivan spun up!!!!!!! All too well!!!!!!! Right through our back yard!!!!!!! Fun times.🫤
@@fmbbeachbum8163 OMG nuts you should mention that. I lived just north of TABF across the bay in the community of Allanton. I panicked and drove THROUGH a tornado from Ivan at that location. Same location that was decimated by Michael. Sadly the tornado I drove through killed a neighbor out there. It was the foundation for all my weather fears and how I got into amateur meteorology. Ivan spawned a lot of tornadoes. Gave me mental weather problems. At least a very healthy respect for it.
Nothing can be done about natural weather. Just stay as safe as possible 🙏
The firestorm at Lahaina was not natural...they also torched Canada...and a small village in CA WAS ERADICATED ALL BUT ONE HOUSE W THE BLUE PAINT .
they are using earth's natural activities to mask the DIABOLICAL WAR WE ARE IN
Build better houses.

Are the property line setbacks here 3 inches?

Why did he send them in the first place!!

Prayers from South Florida! Was it a water spout that turned into a tornado?
The weathermen were actually it reporting on radar before it came on shore as waterspout. This was a storm out in front of the squall line. Then during the squall line they were showing notches in the line as being waterspouts and one of those also turned into a confirmed tornado about ten miles inland. Most of the time waterspouts dont seem to be that dangerous after landfall but not these two.
How does a house tightly packed between two other houses tip over? Do they have building codes down there? Or inspectors to enforce them?
Wow so sad
The homes are like doll houses made of match sticks. God bless everyone. So sad
Praying for this community 🙏🏾🤎
Ну, зато вы исключительная нация. Наверно гордость берет.
That same house was knocked over during Hurricane Michael
Holy Shyte! I was there when it happened but left the campground right after. I had no idea this much damage was done 😮
Wow, God is in control and will open the right doors to restore everything lost.🙏🙏
Huītzilōpōchtli is a powerful and merciless god. 🔥
Only a few years ago a hurricane destroyed most of the town. However, many built flimsier cardboard boxes again.
That is sad and cost lives

How does a house blow on its side like that? Really bad construction.
Наоборот, хорошая. А вот к фундаменту не закрепили хорошо

I feel so bad for PCB!!! As if Hurricane Michael wasn't bad enough, now they have to deal with this. I lived in Panama City for 14yrs back in the late 70's and through the 80's. So hard to see it like this!
GEO Weather going on
Incredible. Fantastic coverage. 👏👍
Wow that’s bad! I grew up going to Panama City beach every summer
Prayers
Between hurricanes and tornadoes the panhandle gets some rough weather.
How on earth do you get permission to build that close to your neighbor's .Its ridiculous to me
Why are these homes exterior walls not concrete? I didn’t know it was legal to have woodframe home exteriors in Florida..
The only place that I'm aware of where Wood frame housing has been banned is in Miami-Dade County back in 1992 after Hurricane Andrew destroyed many homes. Miami Legislators wanted the State to upgrade their building codes to what Miami had passed but Politicians & the Construction industry fought it tooth & nail and now we see the results 30 years later of that.
Building code shouldn’t allow to build so close together. One fire would destroy whole block. Windows on sides are useless.
Good coverage
Prayers for PC
It’s heartbreaking,
If anyone wants a new job.... The weather is really good this time of year. Spring comes in February. I lived there 35 years.
Just saw this on my local south Florida news. Wild! Mother Nature has Florida in her scope. Be safe.
My question is, why do people keep moving to Florida? I don't understand the appeal.
Crazy level of destruction!
My prayers goes out
Prayers for the dead and injured
POORLY BUILT HOUSES.
Didn't know they put those homes basically on top of each other. Sad.😢
That is what has ruined PCB IMO. PCB was beautiful and somewhat desolate in my youth and in my later 20’s just started to boom.
There was 2 hotels on the beach back then with a few motels a few blocks inland, and Miracle Mile.
Hurricanes you can prepare for, tornadoes can come from a fast moving front. I hope everyone is okay.
Love the not broadcast note at the top
Live by the water increases the chances of destruction I guess. So sad for people.
I was there 5 minutes after it happened, came over the Lagoon bridge into pitch black. Cops already had it blocked off. Had to go all the way around the lagoon to get to work to check everything. Just like 04 with Hurricane Ivan, tornado came through in the same spot.
Cops protecting their investments huh.right.
For a house to just flip over on it's side like that, the foundation must've been the result of more of that "Hispanic" 3rd world construction ethic we see so much of in the South! From the time I started in construction in the 60's until I retired 50 years later, I saw builders lower the standards they'd accept by a huge margin, just so the low quality work the Hispanics were doing could be accepted. When I started an 8 foot wall could only be 1/2 inch out of plumb. When I retired the builders had revised it where an 8 foot wall could be 1 3/4 inches out of plumb and still be accepted! Concrete workers used to use grade stakes to help them keep the concrete slabs flat all across the slab. After the Hispanics took over most of the construction no one used grade stakes. They all just "eyeballed" it and they had dips in the concrete slabs over TWO inches deep. I was using 2X4's as shims for leveling cabinet bases!
You should blame the greedy developers who pay for the construction. The workers are only doing what they are told.
Oh I do! But, they do all of their work by sub-contractors to keep themselves free from any legal circumstances that arise from hiring illegals. One legal Hispanic will bid to get the contract and then hire nothing but illegals to do the work. When I submitted a bid I had to include the cost of insurance, a self employment fee by the government and pay a crew of legal workers a decent wage. The Hispanics didn't pay any of that. If they caused an accident that did some expensive damage they just disappeared, sometimes back to Mexico. With the Hispanics getting most of the bids, most legal American contractors left the construction business and so did the tradesmen. Now the greedy builders are crying because they don't have any skilled help! The greedy bastards did it to themselves!@@timhazeltine3256
History repeated:
According to my daughter, who lives there and I raised there, the tilted beach house was tilted this way once before, Oct 10, 2018, by Hurricane Michael. Again it incredibly remains essentially intact. The only weak point is attachment to the foundation.
I'd guess the same contractor built the supporting structure.
Get the cherry picker out and tilt it back 😂
Yeah. More prayers and thoughts.
That’s our companies ticket booth that’s floating upside down
Wow😢 that’s a lot of damage 😢
Did the homes or the hotel come first? Who would build a home 5 ft from a high rise hotel?
I really hope there will still be insurance companies willing to do business in FL and their rates would be affordable in the near future...
Yikes 😳 praying for everyone
I’m so thankful that this didn’t touch down where I’m currently living which is in a camper in Milton fl and we had nados all over last night and luckily it wasn’t us but we got warnings and winds were just insane I was prepared for the worst at that pint which was around 2 am!!! All I can do is stay hopeful for all these folks in Panama City may you all be looked after and taken care of until this is all over !! My love and my best to all the folks of pcb!!!!
I stayed in a camper trailer in Milton once, years ago. So glad you were ok!
If it hasn’t happened, already, insurance rates are going to go through the roof or companies are just going to stop offering insurance there. No insurance company can withstand this much damage and survive.
Done deal.
wonder if they will ever 'get' the idea that dome or cone shaped buildings survive hurricanes and tornado's far better...or will they simply rebuild them exactly the same.
I said your boat not your mattress. That's in the water.
Florida needs to have better construction regulations.

Not if you have to stay because officials wait too long to evacuate plus set up shelters! You die means they can build another condo for suckers plus you get price gouged for a motel inland!
Oh my goodness! They said it was headed that way this morning

That truly sucks
