I fostered many cats and they went to the family that was the right fit for them. And yes, one stayed with us! The best gift you can give a foster is knowing when to let go. Amber knows herself and her family, let's trust her decision.

I totally agree with you! This precious Dog Trooper wont have any trouble finding a wonderful forever home, he needs the right person who'll take lots of time & have patience with him. Bless his heart, he's safe now.🐾🐾🤗🥰
I foster dogs and cats. They love us, but they love their permanent family, too. I've seen them once they're in their forever homes and they are well-adjusted, happy individuals. I might be depressed and sad, but then I have someone new who needs to be fostered. If I adopted each one I've had a very special bond with, I wouldn't be able to foster anymore and more pets would be euthanized.
I like what she's doing though. It means many dogs will have a chance because of her. She will now more likely be able to find homes for more than just the one she might have taken.
Yep. Bc of the trauma he's just been through, and I worry it might break his spirit. Seen that too many times and people don't know/don't care they're doing it, sometimes favoring one of their pets over another and crushing the lesser of the two. It's one of the most painful things I've ever seen and I've seen it too many times to even count. 😢
I know from the owners, Bull Terriers are not for a novice owner. You have to understand and be prepared for what you are taking on and that is true of every dog. A dog is a living being and requires an owner that can provide care, good food, medical treatment, grooming and a loving safe home for at least 12-15 years. Not everyone is cut out to be a dog owner either at all or at certain times in their lives and everyone needs to realize this before they get a dog or give a dog to someone else. Trooper is very lucky to have David and his foster mom in his life now.
@@worldgonemad1977 I had 5 Corgis from 1988-2021, both types before their popularity surge of the past few years. Used to get asked a lot of questions and I answered truthfully about the day to day life with a Corgi, pros and cons. Very stubborn attitude, very loud barking, extreme shedding, herding/ankle nipping especially small kids, (dont recommend with kids under 10 or teasing people they will defend themselves), easy weight gain, back issues, poor swimmers also they can be easy to train and intelligent, very alert, medium size, a good pet for those that have the time, money and dedication, they live 12-15 years. Their present popularity now is beginning to wane, likely because these cons have been ignored because the owners did little research.
