For Keruga as Companion I like running "Archelos, Lagoon Mystic" as the Commander, because it fits flavourwise with the statement "Life ... is not ... a race." and because you have access to black you can run "Culling Ritual" to punish everything your opponents played without it hurting you :)

I may have left this idea with you guys before but this is one of my meme decks. 5c Cascade Tribal with the winning combo being.
1 Seismic Assault
2 Swans of Bryn Argoll
3 Wheel of sun and moon
Around 70 lands
Discard a land to seismic assault to deal 2 damage to the swans, the damage will fall off and you draw 2 cards and the discarded card goes straight to the bottom of the deck discard enough land to remove each player while keeping your hand full by aiming more at the swans. The commander I use is Niv mizzet reborn as his ETB will occasionally give a couple of 2 colour cascade spells. Sorry for the wall of text.

@@thoop6795 I don't think that would work. AFAIK the discard being a cost won't trigger the library's effect, If it does it would be a decent addition.

@@beepboopkendo4206 this is correct. If Library of Leng worked with discard as part of a cost, cycling cards would be busted in half.

I built an Imoti-Keruga deck and was surprised how well it can play. However, I also noticed that I rarely actually played Keruga. At five mana you want to cast Imoti and after that you want to cast 6+ mana spells. I eventually moved Keruga to the 99 because it was a nice effect to get "for free" cascading off your big spells, just didn't feel worth it to hard cast most of the time. But it's definitely a fun deck either way!

Fellhide Spiritbinder makes you infinite new Aurelias that havent attacked for the first time with its Inspired ability and then radha feeds you the 1R mana to keep doing so!

I have a few of these decks and I especially love the Wild Pair 7 deck. Wild Pair 2 and 14 in one deck is good. 1/1 dorks, 7/7 big things, and Gigantomancer pulls them both together.
For Keruga companion, you hit on some great "cheat" methods. Outside of just blue and green, other ones I like to run are Elvish Spirit Guide and Simian Spirit Guide. I also recommend running asymmetrical board wipes like Pernicious Deed, Path of Peril, Gaze of Granite, and Culling Ritual. Split cards like Life/Death work too but I don't run any usually.
I used to use Wild Pair in my Xenagos deck, it was pretty fun :P

I've got a Yarok deck in the works that gets landfall triggers by sacrificing all your lands and playing them from the graveyard with Runamap Excavator or Crucible of Worlds. Use Zuran Orb or Squandered Resources as a sac outlet for basics, but for best results replay evolving wilds or terramorphic Expanse from your graveyard over and over for double landfall triggers and tons of card draw and creature tokens from Titania, Protector of Argoth and Gitrog Monster, then win with a horde of creatures or shoot your opponents in the face with Ob Nixilis the Fallen. When you run out of land slots (which you have a ton of thanks to cards like Azusa, Lost but Seeking), play spells like Harrow and crop rotation to get more triggers. You can even make all the lands you tutor for untap through amulet of vigor, so you can tap lands before you sacrifice them to get a ton of mana to play whatever you want out of your hand.
Kenrith is definitely the way to go, built a deck with him and Zirda recently and actually had to go out of my way to avoid too much infinite bullshit. "Composite Golem is always fun, I should- Oh, GOD DAMN IT."
I've had a Borborygmos deck in the process for ages. It's so much fun!!
I'm in the process of putting together a food themed deck in Jund colors. It will have things like Hot Soup, Butcher's Cleaver, Asmoranomardicadaistinaculdacar, etc.
Hmmmm I don’t understand why you had red blue green for the planes walker mutate deck and not red blue white? Because white will give you access to Gideons that can turn into creatures
I play a nadier and dargo treasure deck, they synergise well and are really fun to play, I also have a tanazir clone deck, so in his alt art he's in an incubation pod essentially, so in my mind he's cloning himself to double his power and I run with that idea, very fun deck can kill out of nowhere, very dangerous, I also built it for like 70 dollars or something

I have a Piru deck, but the stuffy doll is a secondary win-con as I really don’t enjoy playing with tutors. Main win con is legendary death triggers/life gain
For the Borborygmos deck, you would want the Ashaya, Quirion Ranger + any mana dork combo for the storm count. Toss in a grapeshot and a squirrel storm for the lols.

I used to have a Borborygmos Enraged deck, but so much cool land stuff has been coming out in black and blue that I branched out to Vial Smasher & Thrasios now it's like a secret commander deck too cause I need to get Borby out to win.
I love to see more mentions of mutate! Gemrazer and Sawtusk Demolisher would make fine additions to your deck suggestion 😁
I love the saskia deck, I'm happy to see vexing devils(a personal favorite) actually being included in an edh deck!
I had an Omnath Locust of Creation deck that was all about redirecting damage. Worked amazingly well. Play Blasphemous Act with vigor out. Vigor goes back to the deck, all your opponents creatures get wiped and your creatures get 13 +1/+1 counters each.
Svella, Ice Shaper is in my Prossh deck as a payoff with Necrotic Ooze. Insane value on the board and in the graveyard.
I helped my friend make a Surrak Deck around Wild Pair. It has so much synergy and you can use cards that scale to help find whatever you want. Endless One for 5 mana find Craterhoof wins so many games.
Keruga is heavily underrated in casual games too. It is in my Roon Deck where I have a lot of mid cost enchantments and creatures for good ETB's and Keruga draws a new hand ever turn. Sometimes multiple times in a turn cycle if I have ways to untap on other peoples turns.
Great ideas for decks and I definitely recommend trying them at least digitally if you can't afford the cards or don't want to proxy the deck.
Other notable ideas I've used recently is an Energy deck in Boros, and a Morph deck in Temur. lots of good interaction and versatility. A little less unique is my Golgari food deck but still a lot of fun to play. I'm currently revisiting my Sultai Rogue tribal deck thanks to more support in Kamigawa.

You guys should consider Settle the Wreckage for your Iroas deck to exile your own creatures for ramp. I do it and people never expect it the first time.
Since it's a token based deck, you can easily rebuild your army and you aren't losing a permanent forever.
If your deck runs 28-32 basics, you could easily generate 12-20 tokens, swing out and, for only 4 mana, ramp 12-20 mana AND thin out your deck so you draw more gas. If you know exactly how many basics are in your deck and reliably generate tokens, you could pull literally all of your lands from your deck directly to the battlefield.
When I started playing commander over 10 years ago, I build a mono colored deck. The red one was also sub-themed around stuffy doll, with heartless hidetsugu at the helm. It was pretty bad overall, but it was a pet deck of mine. I recently decided to convert it into a Brudiclad clone deck, with stuff doll as a secret commander. The deck is all about creating as many copies of stuffy doll as possible and then of course use some red damage board wipes to win. Because the stuffy dolls provide a good defensive wall, I also have a small planeswalker subtheme (a card type that I normally strongly avoid). Low powered, silly and pretty fun.
If you turn tokens on the battle field into stuffy dolls they won’t get to choice a player sadly
@@NitpickingNerds That is certainly true, but fortunately it does work with Brass Taunter (such a gift that card), who of course is also in the deck. Its so next level clunky to transmute Drift of Phantasms into Imperial Recruiter to then search op Brass Taunter or Stuffy Doll. Totally worth it though. I also run a Goblin Matron and Goblin Recruiter just to get Brass.
Might I suggest Shaman En-Kor for the Stuffy Doll deck? Anyone attacks anyone you can redirect the damage to the spirit and then to the Stuffy Doll/ Brash Taunter.
I built an Averna cascade deck with Keruga as the partner when commander legends came out. Name the deck slow mobile cus the first 3 turns your not doing much, but as soon as you start playing lands with the cascade triggers the thing you pop. Used a lot of landfall triggers to get additional value
Kiki Jiki has brass knuckles in his hands, and Saffi is holding a sword.
I used the wrong Saffi art and Kiki’s knuckles are wrapped in cloth
I built (and have since taken apart a) Maelstrom Wanderer Keruga companion deck. I only had to cut like 5-6 cards from my original list and really enjoyed it
I really like the idea of that token only deck and I've been playing around with the Keruga idea for a while now
My keruga companion deck is with pako and haldan. I crammed in abunch of crappy mana rocks, bad ramp, extra turns, and extra combats. It’s basically terrible narset but gets underestimated because they see the keruga.
I play Osgir and use stuffy doll as a alt win con, one time I used Osgir to to make 2x copies of Cursed Mirror cloning Ill-Tempered Loner then casting Star of Extinction. Great time 5/7!

Im running a Doran big butts life gain deck, probably my most creative deck.
This was exactly the video I was hoping to find, great inspiration! I thought I'd share one fun attempt I did where all the card art needed to have kryptonite or, as I learned, green crystals from Drannith lore. My first MTG deck was the Jirina Kudro precon and I observed the armor on many creature cards matched. This deck should be viewable on Moxfield and it is called "Drannith Stands Firm". I would love to see if there are any more you know of that I missed. I only have a deck list of 39 at the moment.
I put together a stuffy doll/brash taunter deck around Sevinne, the Chronoclasm over Piru, for things like Soulfire Grand Master, card draw, and copy-spells, because the only thing better than Star of Extinction is flashing it back for a second copy. The lifelink on Piru makes it pretty close, though!
For the rampager, add solemnity to the deck as well, if you have a lot of tutors shouldn't be hard to get it to your hand, and then you can continuously bounce the rampager because you can't get energy counters

I have a deck idea where Kaheera is the commander and the theme of the deck is elf tribal while there is a secret commander in allosaurus shepherd. Yeah it's janky in concept but if you get to the point where you're swinging with elves you've made into 6/6 dinosaurs with vigilance, it's a win in my books
As I write this, I am putting together: Phyrexian Germ tribal. Goal is that I have to include all cards with Living Weapon, plus Grip of Phyresis.
Temur Sabertooth is a 4/3… elephant and vexing devil bounces
I have a Madcap Experiment -> Platinum Emperion deck where I run no artifacts except for plat Emperion 😅 lot of enchantments for card draw and ramp, and plus auras to protect the Emperion so there is an enchantment subtheme. It’s a Grixis deck with Silas Renn and Ludevic and the commanders, black for tutors (and ad nauseum), blue for counter spells/protection auras, and red for madcap experiment and some good combos with plat Emperion like Heartless Hidetsugu.
The 7s deck looks so cool, I wanna built it! Not sure about the combo tho: How does greenbelt rampager let you get three creatures out? Wouldn't you only be able to cast it twice before you have to pay the two energy and it stays on the field?

For Mirri First Strike tribal there’s a decent amount of lure effects in green if you can’t find enough effects to force your opponent to attack you
I actually run the first deck idea but I use Firesong and Sunspeaker instead!
I tried to make a deck like the first one , stuffy doll was the secret commander led by the OG timespiral Jaya, could never get the card draw and ramp to work competitively

I have a Kardur deck based around repercussion and the "stuffy dolls". I think I'm going to convert it to piru. I like the access to tutors. It also opens up guilty conscience which is infinite. You may want to try repercussion and maybe Chandra's incinerator. Repercussion is potentially risky, but I run sac outlets for that reason and to reset stuffy dolls with reanimation. Chandra's incinerator is high mana value, but it has some insane turns with cards like brash taunter toralf and repercussion.

I like the only combos deck, I did it in black with artifact support.
I'm making a 7s wild pair deck right now, but with Halana and Alena. It's probably not as strong, but there's something cool in the flavor of building a wild pair deck with a wild pair in the command zone.
I feel like for the first deck idea Stuffydoll/Brash Taunter you could use Jared Carthalion. Not only is Jared like a sudo Brash Taunter but also Green has some fight spells that can turn your opponent's large creatures against themselves.
First non precon deck is almost complete just waiting for 4 cards and its a Karador deck however I was definitely totally 100% not influenced in any way by beezy

Man I've tried making a wild pair deck work in other colors and it's just never gotten off the ground, sadly. I'd love to see one work and try again myself but I've gotta take some time before I return to that well.
if you play imoti with only high cmc cards why not go all the way and only play 5 cmc+ cards with the exception of hypergenesis and eurika. its actually quite the fun deck as its not just turn 5 play commander win as you need to draw 5 mana sources and also have cards in hand that relevant enough to beat 3 other opponents doing stuff the entire time and you jave to search all these cards that do stuff with less than 5 mana but have cmc 5 or more.

Its indestructible so you don't need to worry too much about it being kill (except for exiling) and you can focus on pumping power and hitting face.

I'm a bit confused about Gideon jura. Can't you only either make him a 6/6 or make every creature attack him. It seemed like you said he could do both and I'm not sure how that works.
We don't care about his 6/6 mode, we just want to force stuff to attack him :)

Nice for the first strike deck You could put in an old card called provoke it makes a creature your opponets control untap and have to block with one of there guys

I really liked Josh's Timmy (Prodigal sorcerer) deck from Command zone, it got me thinking: What if I made a WUBRG Timmy deck? What if the secret commanders of this deck was Merieke Ri Berit and Brudiclad? So than I realized Garth One-Eye must be the commander of this deck so I can focus on Tapping/Untapping and Tokens

I had a simmilar idea to the planeswalker creature nonsence.
You make all pw into artifacts or enchantments with mycosynth lattice or enchanted evening(i think that was the one) and then use march of the mashines or starfoeld of nyx to make them creatures and as a side effect kill all lands
For the Iroas deck, no love for Decree of Justice?
The no creature deck should really have a Planeswalker for a commander lol
