    Richard Tee and Steve Gadd played with Paul Simon on many songs in the mid to late 70's and early 80's Check out the 1981 Concert in Central Park.

    Only just discovering Richard Tee at age 27. Holy shit. This man was an absolute genius. I don't use that word lightly.

      Tee was 44 at the time. He sadly passed away 5 years later.

    OMG I love these guys so much! Was luck to be a waitress at a club they played at on 96th street NYC. our bartender would stop pouring on Richards solos!

    I danced to Richard in our discotheque in East Kilbride, near Glasgow, Scotland in the late 70’s.
    Fantastic times and memories, he is a genius, sad he was taken so young.

    They'd been playing together for decades (on some of the greatest hits in pop music, and in The Gadd Gang)...You can tell they can feel each other. They know each other. Watch / listen to Steve in conjunction with Richard's left hand, and the way Richard smiles when Steve does exactly the right thing...They don't have to talk, they listen to each other, and can anticipate what the other's going to do. (They probably also rehearsed at least a little. :) ).

    wow. There will never be anyone like Richard Tee again. And the combination of Mr. Tee and Mr. Gadd. It was a priviledge to see them so many times at tThe Mottom Line in NYC in Stuff. With Gordon Edwards, Eric Gale, Cornell Dupree and Chris Parker

    Saw Richard play this at the Bottom Line in NYC. As well as for years at a club in NYC called Mikell's when he played with Encyclopedia of Soul/Stuff. and Yes to Ellington's and Stayhorn's compositions being very complicated, but Rich was a genius

    Entre les 2, on dirait qu'il y a une sorte d'osmose. Quand l'un ou l'autre lance sa "séquence", j'adore. Je trouve cela vraiment "mortel et je suppose que Paul Simon le sait.
    Une trio Steve Gadd, Eric Gale et Richard Tee, cela a eu existé avec leur costume de pingouin. Comme ils étaient vraiment beaux en Noir et Blanc !

    Not to cast a downer. I love Richard Tee and Steve Gadd. They do an incredible job. I feel this beautiful song is being shoved down my throat. It is like drinking from a fire hose. The original had room to think.
